The particle size of nano-α-Al2O3 was determined by nano-particle size analyzer, and the effects of nano-α-Al2O3 content, ethanol-aqueous solution ratio and KH560 dosage on the dispersion and particle size of nano-α-Al2O3 were investigated. The material structure before and after modification was determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Aqueous polyurethane resin and inorganic components are combined with modified nano-α-Al2O3 dispersion to form chromium-free passivation solution. The solution is coated on the galvanized sheet, the adhesion and surface hardness are tested, the bonding strength of the coating and the surface hardness of the substrate are discussed. The corrosion resistance and surface morphology of the matrix were investigated by electrochemical test, neutral salt spray test and scanning electron microscope test. The chromium-free passivation film formed after the modification of nano-α-Al2O3 increases the surface hardness of galvanized sheet by about 85%. The corrosion resistance of the film is better than that of a single polyurethane film. The results show that the surface hardness and corrosion resistance of polyurethane resin composite passivation film are significantly improved by the introduction of nano-α-Al2O3.展开更多

The catalyst samples were characterized by using N2 physical adsorption, temperature-programmed reduction/desorption (TPR/TPD) and MSssbauer effect spectroscopy (MES) methods. The characterization results indicated that the BET surface area increases with increasing Al2O3 content and passes through a maximum at the Al2O3/Fe ratio of 10/100 (weight basis). After the point, it decreases with further increase in Al2O3 content. The incorporation of Al2O3 binder was found to weaken the surface basicity and suppress the reduction and carburization of iron-based catalysts probably due to the strong K-Al2O3 and Fe-Al2O3 interactions. Furthermore, the H2 adsorption ability of the catalysts is enhanced with increasing Al2O3 content. The FTS performances of the catalysts were tested in a slurry-phase continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) under the reaction conditions of 260 ℃, 1.5 MPa, 1000 h^-1 and molar ratio of H2/CO 0.67 for 200 h. The results showed that the addition of small amounts of Al2O3 affects the activity of iron-based catalysts to a little extent. However, with further increase of Al2O3 content, the FTS activity and water gas shift reaction (WGS) activity are decreased severely. The addition of appropriate Al2O3 do not affect the product selectivity, but the catalysts incorporated with large amounts of Al2O3 have higher selectivity for light hydrocarbons and lower selectivity for heavy hydrocarbons.展开更多

Catalysts with different KOH contents supported on modified alumina were prepared by impregnation method. Various techniques, including N2 adsorption-desorption (Brunauer-Emmet-Teller method, BET), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy (FT-IR). Catalytic activity for microalgae oil conversion to methyl ester via transesterification was evaluated and analyzed by GC-MS and GC. BET results showed that the support possessed high specific surface area, suitable pore volume and pore size distribution. Activity results indicated that the catalyst with 25 wt% KOH showed the best activity for microalgae oil conversion. XRD and SEM results revealed that Al-O-K compound was the active phase for microalgae oil conversion. The agglomeration and changing of pore structure should be the main reasons for the catalyst deactivation when KOH content was higher than 30 wt%.展开更多

The catalytic performances of these catalysts for the steam reforming of methanol were evaluated in a laboratory-scale fixed-bed reactor at 0.1 MPa and temperatures between 473 and 543 K. The results showed that the catalytic activity depended greatly on the catalyst reducibility and the specific surface area of Cu. An approximate linear correlation between the catalytic activity and the Cu surface area was found for all catalysts investigated in this study.Compared to CuO/ZnO/Al_2O_3, the ZrO_2-doped CuO/ZnO/Al_2O_3 exhibited higher activity and selectivity to CO,while the CeO_2-doped catalyst displayed lower activity and selectivity. Finally, an intrinsic kinetic study was carried out over a screened CuO/ZnO/CeO_2/Al_2O_3 catalyst in the absence of internal and external mass transfer effects. A good agreement was observed between the model-derived effluent concentrations of CO(CO_2) and the experimental data. The activation energies for the reactions of methanol-steam reforming, water-gas shift and methanol decomposition over CuO/ZnO/CeO_2/Al_2O_3 were 93.1, 85.1 and 116.5 k J·mol^(-1), respectively.展开更多

The CuO-ZnO-Al2O3-ZrO2 (CuO/ZnO/Al2O3=3/6/1 by weight) component was prepared by a modified 'two-step' co-precipitation method. The effects of ZrO2 on the performance of CuO-ZnO-Al2O3/HZSMo5 catalyst for dimethyl ether synthesis from CO2 hydrogenation were investigated. It was found that ZrO2 improved the properties of CuO-ZnO-Al2O3/HZSM-5 as a structural promoter.

文摘A 60%Fe/Al_2O_3 catalyst was prepared by the co-precipitation method. It was reduced by H_2 to produce metallic Fe,which was then sulfided by CS_2 to Fe_(0.96) S and Fe_3S_4 or phosphided by triphenylphosphine(PPh3) in liquid phases to Fe2 P and Fe P.It was found that the iron sulfides(Fe0.96 S and Fe_3S_4) exhibited the low activity for the hydrodesulfurization(HDS) reactions. The HDS activity was also low on the Fe(metal)/Al_2O_3 and Fe_2 P/Al_2O_3 catalysts since they were converted into Fe0.96 S and Fe_3S_4 during the HDS reactions. In contrast, the FeP/Al_2O_3 was found to be stable and active for the HDS reactions. In particular,Fe P/Al_2O_3 possessed significantly smaller Fe P particles than Fe P/C,leading to the significant higher HDS activity of FeP/Al_2O_3 than Fe P/C.

文摘This paper investigates the degradation of chlorobenzene by dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)coupled with MnOx/γ-Al2O3 catalysts.MnOx/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared using the impregnation method and were characterized in detail by N2 adsorption/desorption,x-ray diffraction and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Compared with the single DBD reactor, the coupled reactor has a better performance on the removal rate of chlorobenzene, the selectivity of COx,and the inhibition of ozone production, especially at low discharge voltages. The degradation rate of chlorobenzene and selectivity of COx can reach 96.3%and 53.0%,respectively,at the specific energy density of 1350 J l-1.Moreover,the ozone concentration produced by the discharge is significantly reduced because the MnOx/Al2O3 catalysts contribute to the decomposition of ozone to form oxygen atoms for the oxidation of chlorobenzene. In addition, based on analysis of the byproducts, the decomposition mechanism of chlorobenzene in the coupled reactor is also discussed.
文摘Characteristics of carbon deposition of CH 4 and C 2H 4 decomposition over supported Ni and Ni Ce catalysts were studied by using a pulse reaction as well as BET, TPR, XPS and hydrogen chemisorption techniques. It is found that there is a metal semiconductor interaction (MScI) in the Ni Ce catalyst, and the effect of MScI on the carbon deposition of CH 4 decomposition is opposite to that of C 2H 4. A novel model of carbon deposition of CH 4 or C 2H 4 decomposition was proposed.

文摘Alumina supports modified by lanthanum (La) and barium (Ba) were prepared by peptization. Catalysts with different KOH contents supported on modified alumina were prepared by impregnation method. Various techniques, including N2 adsorption-desorption (Brunauer-Emmet-Teller method, BET), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy (FT-IR). Catalytic activity for microalgae oil conversion to methyl ester via transesterification was evaluated and analyzed by GC-MS and GC. BET results showed that the support possessed high specific surface area, suitable pore volume and pore size distribution. Activity results indicated that the catalyst with 25 wt% KOH showed the best activity for microalgae oil conversion. XRD and SEM results revealed that Al-O-K compound was the active phase for microalgae oil conversion. The agglomeration and changing of pore structure should be the main reasons for the catalyst deactivation when KOH content was higher than 30 wt%.

文摘Methanol synthesis from hydrogenation of CO2 is investigated over Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalysts prepared by decomposition of M(Cu,Zn)-ammonia complexes (DMAC) at various temperatures. The catalysts were characterized in detail, including X-ray diffraction,N2 adsorption-desorption,N2O chemisorption,temperature-programmed reduction and evolved gas analyses. The influences of DMAC temperature, reaction temperature and specific Cu surface area on catalytic performance are investigated. It is considered that the aurichalcite phase in the precursor plays a key role in improving the physiochemical properties and activities of the final catalysts. The catalyst from rich-aurichalcite precursor exhibits large specific Cu surface area and high space time yield of methanol (212 g/(Lcat·h);T=513 K,p=3MPa,SV=12000 h-1).

文摘A series of CuO/ZnO/Al_2O_3, CuO/ZnO/ZrO_2/Al_2O_3 and CuO/ZnO/CeO_2/Al_2O_3 catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation and characterized by N_2 adsorption, XRD, TPR, N_2O titration and HRTEM. The activation energies for the reactions of methanol-steam reforming, water-gas shift and methanol decomposition over CuO/ZnO/CeO_2/Al_2O_3 were 93.1, 85.1 and 116.5 k J·mol^(-1), respectively.

文摘A series of Cu-ZnO-Al2O3 catalysts with various metal compositions of Cu/Zn/Al were prepared by the co-precipitation method, and screened for glycerol hydrogenolysis to propylene glycol. The catalyst with a Cu/Zn/Al molar ratio of 1:1:0.5 exhibited the best performance for glycerol hydrogenolysis, and thus selected for kinetic investigation.Under elimination of external and internal diffusion limitation, kinetic experiments were performed in an isothermal fixed-bed reactor at a hydrogen pressure range of 3.0-5.0 MPa and a temperature range of 493-513 K. Based on a dehydration-hydrogenation two-step hydrogenolysis mechanism,a two-site Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic model taking into account competitive adsorption of glycerol, acetol and propylene glycol was proposed and successfully fitted to the experimental data. The average relative errors between observed and predicted outlet concentrations of glycerol and propylene glycol were 6.3%and 7.6%,respectively.The kinetic and adsorption parameters were estimated by using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method together with the Rosenbrock algorithm. The activation energies for dehydration and hydrogenation reactions were 86.56 and 57.80 kJ·mol-1,respectively.
文摘CeO2-Co3O4 catalysts for low-temperature CO oxidation were prepared by a co-precipitation method. In combination with the characterization methods of N2 adsorption/desorption, XRD, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), and FT-IR, the influence of the cerium content on the catalytic performance of CeO2-Co3O4 was investigated. The results indicate that the prepared CeO2-Co3O4 catalysts exhibit a better activity than that of pure CeO2 or pure Co3O4. The catalyst with the Ce/Co atomic ratio 1 : 16 exhibits the best activity, which converts 77% of CO at room temperature and completely oxidizes CO at 45 ℃.
文摘Nickel-alumina catalysts supported on cordierite monoliths of honeycomb structure surpass essentially the conventional granulated ones with respect to the output in carbon dioxide reforming of methane. Adjusting the surface acid-base properties of catalysts by introduction of alkali metal (Na, K) oxides inhibits the carbonization and as a result, improves the operational stability of these catalysts. An effect of promotion of nickel-alumina based composite doped by lanthanum oxide is found. This effect, caused by an additional route for the CO2 activation on Ni-La2O3/Al2O3/cordierite catalyst, is displayed in increase of methane conversion under conditions of an oxidant excess.

文摘Methane decomposition reaction has been studied at three different activation temperatures(500°C,800°C and950°C)over mesoporous alumina supported Ni–Fe and Mn–Fe based bimetallic catalysts. On co-impregnation of Ni on Fe/Al_2O_3the activity of the catalyst was retained even at the high activation temperature at 950°C and up to180 min.The Ni promotion enhanced the reducibility of Fe/Al_2O_3oxides showing higher catalytic activity with a hydrogen yield of 69%.The reactivity of bimetallic Mn and Fe over Al_2O_3catalyst decreased at 800°C and 950°C activation temperatures.Regeneration studies revealed that the catalyst could be effectively recycled up to 9times.The addition of O_2(1 ml,2 ml,4 ml)in the feed enhanced substantially CH_4conversion,the yield of hydrogen and the stability of the catalyst.
