The internationalization of talent cultivation in the field of international higher education is a widely discussed topic among higher education institutions worldwide. This paper conducts a comparative study of domestic and foreign higher education institutions and identifies some differences in the internationalization of talent cultivation among different countries and regions.Firstly, the study summarizes the changes in talent cultivation through domestic study abroad programs and overseas study programs. Then, this paper introduces the“Knowledge-Practice-Research”international talent cultivation model in China and the international talent cultivation model in Japan as an example. Finally, this study compares the international talent cultivation models in domestic and foreign higher education institutions. The results indicate that the internationalization of talent cultivation models needs to be adjusted according to different training objectives, specific countries, and even regional circumstances to adapt to local characteristics and the international environment.Overall, different countries and regions have different emphases and characteristics in the internationalization of talent cultivation in higher education institutions. However, regardless of the country, higher education institutions should focus on enhancing students’international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills to adapt to the globalized economic and social environment. 展开更多

The issue of new technology applications in education is a worldwide concern.Following a thorough review of current studies, this paper believes that new technology in a broad sense has"hard technology"(referring to new inventions, discoveries, and creations that can be practically operated and applied)and"soft technology"(generally referring to technology formed in all industry fields in response to new changes, new markets, new industries, and new business models, such as innovative marketing models, new team building, and management strategizing, cultural and creative skills, etc.),with distinctive and external and internal connotations. In a narrow sense, new technology refers to the most recent and cutting-edge technology in a particular industry field. There are also definitions that are based on their applicability, such as referring to new operation methods as new technologies. The premise of how to precisely implement new technology application education in higher education is to understand how students in higher education institutions think. For this reason, this study takes senior graduate students as its target, and through the statistics and analysis of survey data,we get three results.First, education featuring applications of new technology proves highly compelling, particularly given its importance in graduates'career development, thus garnering support;second, such education is both conceptual and practice-based;third,education concerned with the application of new technologies can be carried out in any major, both in engineering and non-engineering disciplines, with different requirements for educational content and technical skills according to the varying disciplines.Based on the investigation and analysis,we propose solutions and recommend methods of applying new applications in higher education. 展开更多

Different from traditional farmers, new farmers refer to the high-quality farmers who are educated and skilled, and have the capability of operating. Cultivation of new farmers is a key factor of developing rural human resources, and also the lasting power for the new countryside construction. Guangdong Province has witnessed rapid urbanization and industrialization, and local farmers have been faced with the competition with foreign quality talents and the pressure of survival. Against the background of new countryside construction, this paper studied the supply-demand situation and problems of traditional farmers in Guangdong Province, explored education and cultivation model of new farmers and innovation mechanism, which is signifi cant for improving the innovation level of Guangdong, and promoting the urban-rural coordinated development. 展开更多

[Objectives]To find a sustainable production model for potato at low latitude plateau in winter in Yunnan Province.[Methods]Xuanshu 2 potato variety was tested in prefectures of Yunnan Province.Soil covering experiment was conducted in two trials(open field experiment and green house potted experiment).Impacts of three cultivation factors were analyzed:(i)three cultivation models(T1,T2 and T3),(ii)planting density(T1,T2 and T3),(iii)soil covering(T1,T2,T3,T4)on plant growth, and yield production.[Results]The soil moisture content, temperature, roots growth, stems development, leaf area index, and number-weight of tubers per plant and per plot(g)have significantly increased with commercial yield average of 45 t/ha.[Conclusions]The combination of this method with modern agriculture mechanization should be further popularized and applied in large scale planting in regions with climatic conditions similar winter season in Yunnan Province,so as to make contribution to the satisfaction of the world population potato consumption. 展开更多

The social and economical condition, cultivated land resources and general situation of grain production of research area are introduced.According to relevant data of cultivated land of Kunming City in 2006,taking the minimum per capita cultivated land and index model of cultivated land pressure, and combining with two conditions of per capita grain demand which are 300 kg and 400 kg,the comparative research method was used to calculate and analyze the minimum per capita cultivated land and index model of cultivated land pressure. The results show that when per capita grain demand-Gr is 300 kg,the per capita cultivated land in Kunming City has regional differences, reflects different regular patterns of spatial distribution, and presents obvious and typical radial distribution.Urban area of Kunming has the lowest point and be taken as the center, per capita cultivated land decreases progressively from suburban to the periphery;when per capita grain demand-Gr is 400 kg,under the same consumption level, cultivated land pressures of each county in Kunming City are different, and so are the driven factors;when per capita grain demand-Gr is 300 kg or 400 kg,the indexes of cultivated land pressure in Kunming are all greater than 1,cultivated land pressure is enormous, the indexes of cultivated land pressure of each county(district) have two conditions-greater than 1 and less than 2,and the reasons differ from one another.Combining with the spatial distribution characteristics of the cultivated land and food and the situation of industrial development, the countermeasures and suggestions are put forwarded to make full use of back-up cultivated land,to plan the distribution of industrial structure in each county(district) of Kunming City as a whole,to dispose cultivated land resources reasonably and so on. 展开更多
