Study of Great Chinese Inventions Based on the Concept of Cultural Consciousness

Based on the concept of cultural consciousness, this paper clarifies the misunderstanding of the "Four Great Inventions", then defines the concept of inventions and corresponding grading and rating systems. Numerous senior historians of science and technology were invited to review the great Chinese inventions before the book The Thirty Great Chinese Inventions was finally compiled and published. This paper also points out that the Chinese themselves must clearly understand things concerning China and China must have a say over the issue of inventions. The scientific spirit of deriving truth from facts must be rigorously upheld during the study and rating of great inventions.

Internal Relationship between Education on Cultural Confidence and Cultural Consciousness

Education on cultural confidence is the main way to strengthen one's cultural confidence while cultural consciousness constitutes a base for cultural confidence.The two would be unified in the process of strengthening cultural confidence.Therefore,there is a logical relationship between them.In order to understand the relationship between education on cultural confidence and cultural consciousness,one needs to have a correct understanding of the scientific connotation of the two and a clear picture that education on cultural confidence would ensure that one would be kept steadfast in cultural consciousness because it does not only establish attitudes in cultural conscious cognition but also act as a guide for internal development.

What Happens in Organizations When Enhancing Organizational Culture Toward Being More Conscious?

The purpose of this study is to offer a better comprehension of what happens in organizations when enhancing organizational culture through consciousness by linking the market-oriented ecosystem variables and analyzing their relationship with a conscious organization.Design and methodology:Two questionnaires were used to test the hypotheses,the market-oriented ecosystem 38-item(Yeung&Ulrich,2019),and the conscious organization model 7-item adaptation(Sisoda,2018).Pearson correlations were calculated to measure the strength of the linear relationship among the variables involved in each one of the hypotheses,and coefficient alpha(coefficient𝛼)was used to analyze the reliability,to measure the internal consistency of the scales.Relevant findings:Context,ecosystem organizational structure,governance,and people ecosystem were positively correlated to a conscious organization.The originality of this study is based on use of the interaction among the variables of the market-oriented ecosystem model(continuous changing context,ecosystem organizational structure,governance,and people ecosystem)and a conscious organizational culture.Finally,the practical implications of having high levels of the market-oriented ecosystem variables predict high level of consciousness in organizations.These variables require careful consideration,a proactive planning process to enhance organizational culture through consciousness.

The influence and enlightenment of Confucian cultural education on modern European civilization

Confucianism,not only is the core of Chinese cultural educational thoughts but its influence has been identified in the West by the European scholars.And with the impact of Confucianism civilization,the theological authority in the Dark Ages wavered.The human-based ideas of Confucianism that people are the foundation of the country,the governing way of“Governance with virtue”,the way of personnel placement that men of great virtue and talent are elected who will cultivate mutual trust and promote universal understanding,the nationwide education thought that there should be education for everyone without distinction and the imperial examination system under the idea that those who excellently learned should serve(in the government),have exerted beneficial influences on the European modern civilization.Looking back at the course of Confucian influence in the West and the influence on the Enlightenment and modern civilization,it is easy to find that Confucianism education is of universal value in the pluralistic cultural world,which can enhance the cultural identification and cultural consciousness of a nation,creating a heritage of excellent cultural education and enriching the connotation of the contemporary cultural education.
