Market Research on College Students' Acceptance of Prepared Dishes

With the accelerated pace of life and the demand for dietary diversification,more and more people begin to pay attention to the convenience and health of diet,and the prepared dishes market is getting more and more attention and favor because of its characteristics of convenient and quick.In order to understand the acceptance of college students' to the prepared dishes market,this paper aimed to collect college students' views and suggestions on the prepared dishes market by means of a questionnaire survey.By analyzing the results of the survey,we found that college students' generally have a positive attitude towards prepared dishes markets,and they believe that prepared dishes provides convenient,fast and diversified dietary choices.However,some college students' have some concerns about the quality and food safety of the prepared dishes market,such as adding too many food additives and preservatives.Through the research on college students' acceptance of the prepared dishes market,we can reveal the demand and potential problems of college students' for the prepared dishes market from the consumer s point of view,so as to provide a reference for the future development of the prepared dishes market.

Protection of Glassware in the Automatic Dishwashing Process – A Detergent Manufacturer’s Insights and Experiences

Analysis of Translation Skills of Chinese Dish Name

China is a country that attaches great importance to names,honor,and prestige.The set phrase,to achieve both fame and wealth,gives the true meaning of the word fame.Chinese food culture has a long history,and forms a variety of dishes,These Chinese dishes are popular with the whole world.English translation of Chinese dish can be found everywhere in China nowadays.For example:restaurants have bilingual menus;cook books are translated into English;food is discussed and recommended in English on newspaper,magazines and TV programs.Some of the English equivalents are so wordy or awkward that they read like recipes instead of names.Some are confusing and misleading.The problem is that some dish names embedded with cultural connotation are still translated literally,which makes the menus unintelligible and the target language reader lost chances to enjoy Chinese food culture.Owing to these features of the Chinese culinary culture,the names of Chinese food are kaleidoscopic and deny easy forms.

A Cognitive Study of the Naming Elements of Chinese Dish Names Based on the Prominence Principle

The assortedness of Chinese food,together with the complexity of their naming elements,has ignited numerous scholars' interests in this field and prompted them to make abundant analyses of Chinese dish names.Most of them,however,were done in studies of traditional linguistics,rhetoric,translatology and cross-cultural communication.And studies,based on corpus,on the naming elements of Chinese dishes under cognitive linguistic theories almost remain a blank.This paper aims to conduct a quantitative analysis of 4,000 Chinese dish names(500 ones selected freely from each of the eight cuisines),based on the Prominence Principle,in order to identify the specific naming elements of Chinese dishes and forward related statistics and ratios.

The Translation Strategies of Chinese Dish Names on Descriptive Translation Studies

It is well-known that Chinese dish names concentrate on the essence of traditional Chinese culture,reflecting the collective wisdom of Chinese nation.In recent years,good and awkward translation of Chinese dish names coexist with each other,which has a negative influence on Chinese image.Nowadays many people have begun to center on and study the English translation of Chinese dishes names.Descriptive translation is a clear answer to it.

Dystrophic calcification and heterotopic ossification in fibrocartilaginous tissues of the spine in diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis(DISH)

Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis(DISH) is a prevalent noninflammatory spondyloarthropathy characterized by ectopic mineral formation along the anterolateral aspect of the vertebral column, yet little is known about its underlying pathogenesis. Our objective was to evaluate the histopathological features and composition of ectopic mineral within spinal tissues affected by DISH in humans. Thoracic spine segments from six embalmed cadaveric donors(one female and five males;median age 82 years)meeting the radiographic diagnostic criteria for DISH were evaluated using radiological, histological, and physical analyses. Overall,the histological features of ectopic mineralization at individual motion segments were heterogeneous, including regions of heterotopic ossification and dystrophic calcification. Heterotopic ossifications were characterized by woven and lamellar bone,multifocal areas of metaplastic cartilage, and bony bridges along the anterior aspect of the intervertebral disc space. Dystrophic calcifications were characterized by an amorphous appearance, a high content of calcium and phosphorus, an X-ray diffraction pattern matching that of hydroxyapatite, and radiodensities exceeding that of cortical bone. Dystrophic calcifications were found within the anterior longitudinal ligament and annulus fibrosus in motion segments both meeting and not meeting the radiographic criteria for DISH. In summary, our findings indicate that in DISH, ectopic mineral forms along the anterior aspect of the spine by both heterotopic ossification and dystrophic calcification of fibrocartilaginous tissues. Although both types of ectopic mineralization are captured by current radiographic criteria for DISH, dystrophic calcification may reflect a distinct disease process or an early stage in the pathogenesis of DISH.

Rapid and easy determination of morphine in chafing dish condiments with colloidal gold labeling based lateral flow strips

In order to enhance the flavor of chafing dish and increase the attraction of consumers,the poppy shell is reported to be illegally added to the condiments of chafing dish.In this research,a rapid,simple,and convenient method based on the classic immunochromatographic lateral flow strip(LFS)with gold nanoparticles(GNPs)labeling was developed for easy monitoring of morphine(MOP),an effective component of poppy shell.Under optimized conditions,this developed LFS can well realize the detection of target MOP in the condiments of chafing dish in less than 10 min without any complicated pre-treatments.The limit of detection(LOD)can be achieved as low as 0.1 ppb for standard MOP or the MOP spiked condiments of chafing dish.All these results of the research strongly demonstrate that this established LFS method can be successfully applied in practical rapid and accurate on-site screening of poppy shell in condiments of chafing dish.

Faults Analysis and Diagnosis of DRJ-460 Dish Centrifugal Separator′s Helical Gear

In order to diagnose the DRJ-460 dish centrifugal separator correctly, the vibration istested with a helical gear under both normal and abnormal conditions. After comparing severalgeneral methods of the gear's fault feature extraction, a new convenient and effective method ispresented on the basis of analyzing the vibration spectrum under different rotary velocities.

A theoretical analysis is presented for the snap-buckling behaviour of dished shallow shells under uniform loads. By means of the modified iteration method the second approximate formula of elastic behaviour. and a set of numerical solutions are given. And effects of parameters beta and k on the snap-buckling behaviour are discussed.

Occupational fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonia in a halogen dishes manufacturer:A case report

BACKGROUND Fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis(FHP)is an allergic and diffuse pneumonia caused by repeated inhalation of antigenic substances,and sometimes developed in people working in specific environments.While novel antigens and exposures continued to be described,physicians should maintain a high suspicion of potential exposures.A detailed assessment of the patient's occupational exposures as well as living environment is necessary and complete allergen avoidance is the first and most important step in the management of FHP once the allergens are determined.CASE SUMMARY A 35-year-old female was admitted to the hospital with a cough and breathing difficulties for more than one year.She was a nonsmoker and a manufacturer of halogen dishes,which are characteristic Chinese foods,for 15 years without any protection.High resolution computed tomography of the chest demonstrated an interstitial pneumonia pattern.Pulmonary function examination showed restricted ventilation dysfunction and a significant reduction in dispersion ability.Cell differentiation in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid demonstrated lymphocytosis(70.4%)with an increased lymphocyte CD4/CD8 ratio(0.94).Transbronchial lung biopsy combined with lung puncture pathology showed diffuse uniform alveolar interval thickening,chronic inflammatory cell infiltration,a proliferation of tissue in the bronchial wall fiber and alveolar epithelial follicle degeneration,resulting in fibrosis.CONCLUSION Exposure to spices used for the production of halogen dishes may cause FHP.

Dish Verification Antenna China for the SKA:design, verification and status

The Square Kilometre Array(SKA) will be the world’s largest synthesis radio telescope, which is designed to answer major scientific questions such as those relating to the cosmic origin and fundamental forces in the universe. With the SKA entering into the phase of pre-construction, more than 100 institutes in about 20 countries including China have been involved in the associated key technology development.The Dish Verification Antenna China(DVA-C) is a concept prototype which has been built to meet the requirements of the SKA’s scientific goals. It utilizes a unique skin-and-rib structure with single-piece panel reflectors. This paper presents details on the design and measured performances of DVA-C, as well as the preliminary observational results. Current applications of the DVA-C are also introduced.

Analyses of local ingredients and dishes on menus of the Budapest-Middle-Danube touristic region

The background of the study is based on previous studies dealing with the areas of Transdanubia of Hungary. Those works have proved the hypothesis of author that local ingredients and dishes represent minimum role on menus. The question is how similar or different the choice of menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube compared with the previously examined areas of Hungary. There can be another question about the usage of local ingredients available near to the catering units. This piece of work has studied 79 menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube, Hungary. The material was collected from different types of restaurants, small restaurants （vendeglo in Hungarian） and roadside restaurants （csarda in Hungarian）. The method of the work was on the one hand, data collecting, and on the other hand, examination of the differences between the catering units in details： the number of dishes, the right order of dishes, the appearance of local ingredients and dishes, the consideration of seasonality, the usage of different cooking methods and group of dishes. The study reflects the main problems of countryside restaurants in Hungary. Only minimum number of dishes could be connected to local dishes out of more than thousands. All in all, dishes are not as precise and perfect as the ＂old ones＂, so that is why it is important for every expert keep the traditions alive in daily routines and strategic mean too.

Modulating a Solar Parabolic Dish to Produce Boiled Water

A two-meter parabolic solar concentration dish has been modulated to produce boiled water over 100℃ for various purposes of central heating services. For an effective performance, the system required both continuous exposure of the dish to sunlight during the day time as well as to an electric control circuit （tracking system）. The amount of the potable water was dependent particularly on the accurate centering of the system which could increase upon preheating. This system has therefore been possible to heat up water at home via increasing the temperature in hot tank by both covering the hot water tank and isolating it from the surroundings using insulators. Applications of a successful parabolic solar concentration has also been designed to provide desalinated water for domestic usage which operates with temperatures higher than other types of the solar radiation for the future.
