The Impact of Optimizing Details in the Operating Room on the Level of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Hospital Infection Prevention and Control by Surgeons, as Well as the Effectiveness of Infection Control

Objective: This paper aims to explore the impact of optimizing details in the operating room on the level of knowledge, attitude, and practice of hospital infection prevention and control by surgeons, as well as the effectiveness of infection control. Methods: From January 2022 to June 2023, a total of 120 patients were screened and randomly divided into a control group (routine care and hospital infection management) and a study group (optimizing details in the operating room). Results: Significant differences were found between the two groups in the data of surgeons’ level of knowledge, attitude, and practice in hospital infection prevention and control, infection rates, and nursing satisfaction, with the study group showing better results (P Conclusion: The use of optimizing details in the operating room among surgeons can effectively improve surgeons’ level of knowledge, attitude, and practice in hospital infection prevention and control, reduce infection occurrence, and is worth promoting. 展开更多

An original reinforced concrete(RC) column and four strengthened specimens, two with RC jackets and two with wing walls, were tested in this study. The original column specimen was designed to comply with older(pre-1999) design standards so that the usual detailing defi ciencies in existing school buildings in Taiwan could be simulated. Two different structural details were chosen to fabricate the full-scale specimens for each retrofi tting technique. The study confi rmed that either RC jacketing or the installation of wing walls with two different structural details can effectively improve the stiffness and strength of an existing column. RC jacketing shows a better improvement in energy dissipation and ductility when compared to the columns with wing walls installed. This is because the two RC jacketed columns experienced a fl exural failure, while a shear failure was found in the two columns with the wing walls installed, and thus led to a drastic decrease of the maximum lateral strengths and ductility. Since many factors may affect the installation of a post-installed anchor, it is better to use standard hooks to replace post-installed anchors in some specifi c points when using RC jacketing or installing wing walls. 展开更多

Four types of seismic design details were tested using 11 transfer column specimens and one comparison specimen of RC under low cyclic reversed loading. Test results show that diagonal cracks control the failure pattern and damage occurs mainly in the RC section with weak shear capacity in the transfer columns. There is a large difference in the bearing capacity and ductility of the transfer columns according to the test results, which indicates that the strengthening effect of diverse structural measures is quite different. The section ratio of I-section-encased steel and the axial compression ratio also have a great influence on the bearing capacity and ductility. Although the bearing capacity of transfer columns with additional longitudinal bars and additional X bars is relatively large, they have poor deformation capacity. Setting more stirrups along the columns is the best structural measure to enhance the seismic performance. The studs on the I-sectionencased steel by welding can help to complete the stress transfer between the steel and concrete, and avoid performance degradation of the two materials due to bonding failure. 展开更多

To study the fatigue performance of welded details in the orthotropic steel decks,the steel box girder for Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge is taken as the research object.Based on the field monitoring data obtained from the load test,the stress response test of the orthotropic steel box girder under wheel loads is performed and the correctness of the vehicle test data obtained from the field monitoring data also have been verified by the numerical results of the finite element model.Based on the Miner linear cumulative damage theory,the S-N curve of the Eurocode3 specification is referenced,and the fatigue life calculation formula of the welded details is determined according to the actual structural features.The fatigue life evaluation of the four typical welded details is obtained.The results indicate that:The load test data is compared and verified by the numerical result of finite element model.The local effect of stress distribution is remarkable.The stress measurement points on the four typical welded details are mainly based on low amplitude stress cycles.Most of the stress ranges are 2-10 MPa,among which the stress range of the welded details at the U-rib butt joint is larger.The fatigue life of welded details in the 14 mm thick top plate is smaller than that of the 16 mm thick top plate corresponding to the fatigue life of the welded details.The rib-to-rib butt welded joints and the openings of the diaphragms were prone to fatigue failure.Among them,the welding details of the 14 mm thick U-rib butt joints first appeared fatigue failure.The arrangement of the diaphragm can effectively increase the fatigue life of the top-U rib weld and improve the fatigue performance at this detail. 展开更多

In order to study the fatigue properties of rib-to-deck welded connection and rib-to-rib welded connection in orthotropic steel bridge decks,a multi-scale finite element model was set up to analyze the stress distribution characteristics and the load test was conducted on the Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge.Comparing the vehicle test results with the muli-scale finite element model results to verify the accuracy of the finite element simulation for the stress response of two welded details.The results indicated that The stress at the rib-to-deck welded connection and the rib-to-rib welded connection are the bending stress and the membrane stress,respectively;the stress response of the two welded connection has strong local characteristics;the lateral stress influence line of the two welded connection is relatively short and the length of the lateral stress influence line is greatly affected by the longitudinal ribs;increasing the thickness of the roof and longitudinal ribs can reduce the stress response and improve the stress performance of the heavy lanes.For the two welded details,the fatigue damage increment of the ordinary lane is greater than the heavy lane.The thickened roof and longitudinal ribs at the position of the heavy lane still cannot balance the fatigue damage caused by the heavy truck.Therefore,it is necessary to strictly control the fatigue effect of overloaded vehicles on steel box girders. 展开更多

Single Image Super-Resolution(SISR)technology aims to reconstruct a clear,high-resolution image with more information from an input low-resolution image that is blurry and contains less information.This technology has significant research value and is widely used in fields such as medical imaging,satellite image processing,and security surveillance.Despite significant progress in existing research,challenges remain in reconstructing clear and complex texture details,with issues such as edge blurring and artifacts still present.The visual perception effect still needs further enhancement.Therefore,this study proposes a Pyramid Separable Channel Attention Network(PSCAN)for the SISR task.Thismethod designs a convolutional backbone network composed of Pyramid Separable Channel Attention blocks to effectively extract and fuse multi-scale features.This expands the model’s receptive field,reduces resolution loss,and enhances the model’s ability to reconstruct texture details.Additionally,an innovative artifact loss function is designed to better distinguish between artifacts and real edge details,reducing artifacts in the reconstructed images.We conducted comprehensive ablation and comparative experiments on the Arabidopsis root image dataset and several public datasets.The experimental results show that the proposed PSCAN method achieves the best-known performance in both subjective visual effects and objective evaluation metrics,with improvements of 0.84 in Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR)and 0.017 in Structural Similarity Index(SSIM).This demonstrates that the method can effectively preserve high-frequency texture details,reduce artifacts,and have good generalization performance. 展开更多

Controlling the contact levels of details for fast and precise haptic collision detection 被引量:1

For accurate and stable haptic rendering, collision detection for interactive haptic applications has to be done by filling in or covering target objects as tightly as possible with bounding volumes (spheres, axis-aligned bounding boxes, oriented bounding boxes, or polytopes). In this paper, we propose a method for creating bounding spheres with respect to the contact levels of details (CLOD), which can fit objects while maintaining the balance between high speed and precision of collision detection. Our method is composed mainly of two parts: bounding sphere formation and two-level collision detection. To specify further, bounding sphere formation can be divided into two steps: creating spheres and clustering spheres. Two-level collision detection has two stages as well: fast detection of spheres and precise detection in spheres. First, bounding spheres are created for initial fast probing to detect collisions of spheres. Once a collision is probed, a more precise detection is executed by examining the distance between a haptie pointer and each mesh inside the colliding boundaries. To achieve this refmed level of detection, a special data structure of a bounding volume needs to be defined to include all mesh information in the sphere. After performing a number of experiments to examine the usefulness and performance of our method, we have concluded that our algorithm is fast and precise enough for haptic simulations. The high speed detection is achieved through the clustering of spheres, while detection precision is realized by voxel-based direct collision detection.
