Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a group of heterogeneous,multi-factorial,neurodevelopmental disorders resulting from genetic and environmental factors interplay.Infection is a significant trigger of autism,especially ...Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a group of heterogeneous,multi-factorial,neurodevelopmental disorders resulting from genetic and environmental factors interplay.Infection is a significant trigger of autism,especially during the critical developmental period.There is a strong interplay between the viral infection as a trigger and a result of ASD.We aim to highlight the mutual relationship between autism and viruses.We performed a thorough literature review and included 158 research in this review.Most of the literature agreed on the possible effects of the viral infection during the critical period of development on the risk of developing autism,especially for specific viral infections such as Rubella,Cytomegalovirus,Herpes Simplex virus,Varicella Zoster Virus,Influenza virus,Zika virus,and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.Viral infection directly infects the brain,triggers immune activation,induces epigenetic changes,and raises the risks of having a child with autism.At the same time,there is some evidence of increased risk of infection,including viral infections in children with autism,due to lots of factors.There is an increased risk of developing autism with a specific viral infection during the early developmental period and an increased risk of viral infections in children with autism.In addition,children with autism are at increased risk of infection,including viruses.Every effort should be made to prevent maternal and early-life infections and reduce the risk of autism.Immune modulation of children with autism should be considered to reduce the risk of infection.展开更多
Korla fragrant pear(KFP)with special fragrance is a unique cultivar in Xinjiang,China.In order to explore the biosynthesis molecular mechanism of chlorogenic acid(CGA)in KFP,the samples at different development period...Korla fragrant pear(KFP)with special fragrance is a unique cultivar in Xinjiang,China.In order to explore the biosynthesis molecular mechanism of chlorogenic acid(CGA)in KFP,the samples at different development periods were collected for transcriptome analysis.High performance liquid chromatography analysis showed that CGA contents of KFP at 88,118 and 163 days after full bloom were(20.96±1.84),(12.01±0.91)and(7.16±0.41)mg/100 g,respectively,and decreased with the fruit development.Pears from these typical 3 periods were selected for de novo transcriptome assemble and 68059 unigenes were assembled from 444037960 clean reads.One‘phenylpropanoid biosynthesis’pathway including 57 unigenes,11 PALs,1 PTAL,64CLs,9 C4Hs,25 HCTs and 5 C3’Hs related to CGA biosynthesis was determined.It was found that the expression levels of 11 differentially expressed genes including 1 PAL,2 C4Hs,34CLs and 5 HCTs were consistent with the change of CGA content.Quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis further showed that 8 unigenes involved in CGA biosynthesis were consistent with the RNA-seq data.These findings will provide a comprehensive understanding and valuable information on the genetic engineering and molecular breeding in KFP.展开更多

The seeds of T4 generation were sowed on saline land of which salt concentration was 0.19% and pH was 8.43, and agronomic traits including growth period, plant height, numbers of main nodes, branching numbers, pods per plant, numbers of seeds per plant, and weight of 100-seed were collected and comparing to control plants Dongnong50 were made. The impacts of TaDREB3 gene on agronomic traits of soybeans under high concentration of salt were discussed. The results showed that the growth period was not altered in transgenic line with TaDREB3 under high concentration of saline and alkali, the extremely significant or significant increase in the numbers of main nodes, pods per plant and in branching numbers and other agronomic traits in transgenic lines in comparing with non-transgenic lines was an indicator of their resistance to saline-alkali stress展开更多
[Objectives]This study was conducted to screen out a vernalization method of radish that is more suitable for breeding and hybrid production.[Methods]Eight radish inbred lines with different bolting tolerance were use...[Objectives]This study was conducted to screen out a vernalization method of radish that is more suitable for breeding and hybrid production.[Methods]Eight radish inbred lines with different bolting tolerance were used as the research objects for the experiment.The following three treatments were done:(1)treating at 4℃in the dark with heat preservation for 1,2,3,4,and 5 weeks,respectively~([1]),(2)treating at 4℃in the dark with heat preservation for 3 weeks after 24 h incubation in light at 20℃,and(3)treating under light at a low temperature of 6.5℃for three weeks after cultivating under light at 20℃to 4 true leaves.The effects of low temperature treatment on the bolting and flowering time of different varieties of radish treated at different developmental stages were analyzed.[Results]When comparing these three methods,the low-temperature treatment of wet seeds had a better effect on early bolting of radish and is simpler and more feasible.The effect of treating four-leaf seedlings at 6.5℃was the worst;most radish inbred lines could shorten bolting time when treated at 4℃for one week;and within a certain range,the longer the 4℃treatment time,the better the vernalization effect.Different radish inbred lines had different performances to low temperature treatment.[Conclusions]This study provides a scientific basis for the theoretical research on vernalization of radish.展开更多

The study aims to analyse the architectural typology and determine the period of construction for the preserved traditional mosques of the Quzzat Quarter in the Old City of Herat(known as the Pearl of Khorasan).Twenty...The study aims to analyse the architectural typology and determine the period of construction for the preserved traditional mosques of the Quzzat Quarter in the Old City of Herat(known as the Pearl of Khorasan).Twenty-nine mosques are located in the area,three of which are modern and 26 are traditional.Twelve out of the 26 traditional mosques still exist and have preserved their traditional landscape.Using analogy to analyse water cisterns and mosques,we determine when each mosque was developed and establish the period of development for each structure.Further analyses are carried out on the edifces’architectural details.Architectural analyses and mosque typologies suggest that fve buildings were built before the Timurid dynasty;two were built during the Timurid dynasty(1370−1507 CE);and one was built after the Timurid dynasty.Two mosques incorporating elements from diferent periods are counted as exceptions,and the remaining two are considered to have been built during transitional periods.展开更多
