Endogenous Security-Aware Resource Management for Digital Twin and 6G Edge Intelligence Integrated Smart Park

The integration of digital twin(DT)and 6G edge intelligence provides accurate forecasting for distributed resources control in smart park.However,the adverse impact of model poisoning attacks on DT model training cannot be ignored.To address this issue,we firstly construct the models of DT model training and model poisoning attacks.An optimization problem is formulated to minimize the weighted sum of the DT loss function and DT model training delay.Then,the problem is transformed and solved by the proposed Multi-timescAle endogenouS securiTy-aware DQN-based rEsouRce management algorithm(MASTER)based on DT-assisted state information evaluation and attack detection.MASTER adopts multi-timescale deep Q-learning(DQN)networks to jointly schedule local training epochs and devices.It actively adjusts resource management strategies based on estimated attack probability to achieve endogenous security awareness.Simulation results demonstrate that MASTER has excellent performances in DT model training accuracy and delay.

Digital Twin Assisted Task Offloading for Maritime-UAV Integrated MEC Networks

With the growth of maritime activities,the number of computationally complex applications is growing exponentially.Mobile edge computing(MEC)is widely recognized as a viable option to address the substantial need for wireless communications and compute-intensive operations in maritime environments.To reduce the processing load and meet the demands of mobile terminals for high bandwidth,low latency and multiple access,MEC systems with unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been proposed and extensively explored.In this paper,a maritime MEC network that employs a top-UAV(T-UAV)for task offloading supported by digital twin(DT)is considered.To explore the task offloading strategy employed by the edge server,the flight trajectory and resource allocation strategy of the T-UAV is studied in detail.The objective of this study is to minimize latency costs while ensuring that the energy of the T-UAV is sufficient to fulfill services.In order to accomplish this objective,the joint optimization problem is described as a Markov decision process(MDP).To overcome this problem,the priority-based reinforcement learning(RL)algorithm for computation offloading and trajectory planning(PRL-COTP)is developed.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach can significantlyreduce the overall cost of the system in comparison to other benchmarks.

A Study of Students’Informal Digital Learning of Foreign Language in the Context of Digital Transformation of Vocational Education

Against the backdrop of the digital transformation of vocational education,informal digital learning of foreign language(hereinafter referred to as IDLFL)is an emerging learning model with significant potential for enabling individualized and autonomous learning and improving workplace English proficiency among Higher Vocational Colleges(hereinafter referred to as HVC)students.This study explores how Chinese foreign language teachers in HVC perceive and understand HVC students’IDLFL.Primary data are collected through questionnaires and interviews,and qualitative analysis is conducted based on grounded theory to reveal effective ways to improve the foreign language learning outcomes of HVC students through IDLFL and the corresponding strategies that HVC language teachers should adopt.However,this study also emphasizes the need to be wary of overstating the impact and role of IDLFL in teaching practice.

A preliminary study on criteria weights for a library's digital resource selection:From the viewpoints of both users and librarians

Through investigating both users' and librarians' perceptions of the relative importance of the major criteria governing the selection of digital resources, we attempted to develop a criterion weight framework for a library's selection of digital resources, which can meet both the users' requirements and the library's goal of developing digital collections. The respective weight of each specific criterion is decided through the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) Method. The findings of this study indicate that, when assigning weights to the selection criteria, it is important to consult the opinions of a wide crosssection of people, especially the views of different users. As a result, the digital resource selection system characterized by the criteria weights can reflect more comprehensively the users' requirements, and meanwhile it enables librarians' more rational selection of digital resources.

Marine Engineering Geological Exploration Information System(MEGEIS):A GIS-based Application to Marine Resources Exploitation

Based on the ArcGIS geographic information system and the ORACLE database management system,this paper reports our studies on the technology of Marine Engineering Geological Exploration Information System(MEGEIS). By analyzing system structure,designing function modules and discussing data management,this paper systematically proposes a framework of technol-ogy to integrate,manage,and analyze the seabed information comprehensively. Then,the technology is applied to the design and development of the Bohai Sea Oilfield Paradigm Area Information System. The system can not only meet the practical demands of marine resources exploration and exploitation in the Bohai Sea oilfield,but also serve as a preparatory work in theory and technology for the realization of the 'Digital Seabed'.

A framework for basic administrative metadata in digital libraries

Administrative metadata means the expansion of the metadata research to the administrative level of resource development. Based on the basic administrative sections in the information resource lifecycle(IRL), the framework for basic administrative metadata(FBAM) is helpful in constructing open interoperable platforms for acquisition, processing and services of information resources in digital libraries. It facilitates the seamless communication, the cooperative construction and management, and the sharing of digital resources.The formulation of FBAM follows the principles of modularity and openness that promote interoperability in resource management. It also adopts the structured methodology of information system design, with which the FBAM data model is developed in conformity with <indecs> and PREMIS. The capabilities of FBAM are driven by a metadata repository with administrative information that is contained in FBAM records.

General review of National Digital Library development in the National Library of China

As an important part of National Digital Library(NDL),the National Digital Library Project(NDLP),which was launched in 2005,has attracted wide attention of the society in general.This paper introduces the general situation of the project from the following aspects,namely,the characteristics,objectives and contents.It also expounds on the basic ideas and the overall structure of the project and gives an introduction to the design of its basic platform,its application platform,its business management system and its standardization control system.In this paper,the digital resources construction and service delivery of the National Library of China(NLC)are introduced to cover both its present operation as well as those in conjunction with the opening of its new library building during its second-phase of library development.Finally,the most important and difficult point in the construction of the National Digital Library Project is analyzed from the following four perspectives:1)The long-term preservation of digital resources;2)the construction of knowledge organization system;3)the organic integration of the digital library and the traditional library;and 4)the risk of project management and system integration.
