Based on the characteristics of primary modulus and stochastic white noise discrimination factor of wavelet decomposition, we analyze the variation rule of normal background and noise data from Shandong digital deformation observation data. The research results indicate that: a) 1/4 daily wave, semi-diurnal tide wave, daily wave and half lunar wave and so on quasi-periodic signal exist in the detail decomposing signal of wavelet when scale are equal to 2, 3 and 4; b) The amplitude of detail decomposing signal is the biggest when scale is equal to 3; c) The detail decomposing signal contains mainly noise corresponding to scale 1 and 5, respectively; d) We may trace the abnormal precursory which is related to earthquake by analyzing non-earthquake wavelet decomposing signal whose scale is specified from digital deformation observation data.展开更多

The results show that the Nepal M_S8. 1 earthquake had greater impact on the Yunnan region, and the macro and micro dynamics of fluids showed significant co-seismic response. The earthquake recording capacity of water level and temperature measurement is significantly higher than that of water radon and water quality to this large earthquake; the maximum amplitude and duration of co-seismic response of water level and water temperature vary greatly in different wells. The changing forms are dominated by fluctuation and step rise in water level, and a rising or falling restoration in water temperature. From the records of the main shock and the maximum strong aftershock,we can see that the greater magnitude of earthquake, the higher ratio of the occurrence of co-seismic response, and in the same well, the larger the response amplitude,as well as the longer the duration. The amplitude and duration of co-seismic response recorded by different instruments in a same well are different. Water temperature co-seismic response almost occurred in wells with water level response, indicating that the well water level and water temperature are closely related in co-seismic response, and the well water temperature seismic response was caused mainly by well water level seismic response.展开更多

The results show that within the magnitude range of 1.5~5.3, the seis-mic moments are 1010~1016 N?m, the corner frequencies are 0.2~0.8 Hz, radii of the focal rupture are 200~2 500 m and the stress drops are 0.1×105~20×105Pa. Through the statistical analyses of variation of corner frequency fc and stress drop ?σ with time, it is discovered that the average corner frequency of the foreshock sequences is obviously lower than that of the aftershock sequences. Contrarily, the average stress drops ?σ of the foreshock sequences are clearly higher than that of the aftershocks. It is considered that these variation characteristics of av-erage corner frequency and stress drops before and after the main shock have index significance to the precursory information before a strong earthquake. The higher stress drops for the foreshock sequences show that the higher shear stresses have been stored in the area of main shock. After the main shock, most of the stresses have been released, so the aftershock sequences show a rupture process of lower stresses.展开更多
