To reveal the occurrence state and enrichment regularity of the dispersed element indium in pyrite, the petrology, mineralogy, geochemistry, and mineral physics were researched detailedly. The results suggest that the structure of pyrite is mainlycomposed of massive structure, disseminated structure, vein structure, reticular structure, comb structure and so on. Generally, thepyrite coexists with sphalerite, marmatite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, galena, and arsenopyrite. And the texture of pyrite primarilyconsists of the metasomatic texture, solid solution texture, idiomorphic?hypidiomorphic granular texture, and disseminated texture. The content of indium in pyrite ranges from 0.491×10?6 to 65.1×10?6 with an average value of 14.38×10?6. Yet, the indium content inthe Gaofeng deposit is higher than that in the Dafulou and Tongkeng deposit, showing a particularly significant supernormalenrichment. Besides, the cadmium content in pyrite is also higher than other dispersed elements, and similarly the abnormalenrichment of cadmium in the Gaofeng deposit is also very significant. An obvious positive correlation exists between In and Cd, orTl, but a negative correlation between In and Re. It is difficult to find out a positive or negative correlation between In and Ga. Theelement zinc is of great importance to the enrichment of indium, which can possibly facilitate to the migration and crystallization of dispersed element indium. 展开更多

An optical akinetic swept source (AKSS) at 1060nm, comprising a 5m length fiber ring cavity, a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) as gain medium, and a 98% reflective chirped fiber Bragg grating as a dispersive element, is described. Active mode-locking was achieved by directly modulating the current of the SOA with sinusoidal signal of frequency equal to 10 times and 20 times the cavity resonance frequency. In the static regime, linewidths as narrow as 60pm and a tuning bandwidth of 30nm were achieved, while a 2roW output power, without any optical booster, was measured dynamically at a sweep speed of 100kHz. The axial range of the AKSS was evaluated by scanning through the channeled spectrum of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. 展开更多

Up to now, the evaporation and condensation, as well as the biological absorption and inorganic absorptions, have been proved to be major factors in Cd isotope fractionation. And Cd isotopes have been widely applied in studies on the universal evolution and marine environment and so on. However, only a few researches have been conducted in applying Cd isotopes to trace the source of metallogenic material and the evolution of the ore-forming fluid in a complex mineralization environment, especially in a hydrothermal ore-formation system. We measured the Cd isotopic compositions of sphalerite, galena, and ores from five lead-zinc deposits in SW China, and found that the ~14/11~Cd values varied from -1.53%o to 0.34%0, with a total range of 1.87%o, which is greater than most of measured geological samples. Meanwhile, through contrasting the Cd content with Cd isotopic compositions of different deposits, it may be concluded that different genetic lead-zinc deposits have different Cd content and isotopic compositions, which could be a tool for the studies on the origin of ore deposits. Also, the biominera]iza- tion and crystal fractionation may also result in Cd isotope fractionation. In a word, although the research of Cd isotopes is presently at the preliminary stage (especially in hydrothermal ore-formation system), this study demonstrated that Cd isotopes can give a clue in tracing the evolution of ore-forming fluid and metallogenic environment. 展开更多

In this study, discrete element method (DEM) was employed to simulate the movement of non-cohesive mono-dispersed particles in a V-blender along with particle-particle and particle-boundary interactions. To validate the model, DEM results were successfully compared to positron emission particle tracking (PEPT) data reported in literature. The validated model was then utilized to explore the effects of rotational speed and fill level on circulation intensity and axial dispersion coefficient of non-cohesive particles in the V-blender. The results showed that the circulation intensity increased with an increase in the rotational speed from 15 to 60 rpm. As the fill level increased from 20% to 46%, the circulation intensity decreased, reached its minimum value at a fill level of 34% for all rotational speeds, and did not change significantly at fill levels greater than 34%. The DEM results also revealed that the axial dispersion coefficient of particles in the V-blender was a linear function of the rotational speed. These trends were in good agreement with the experimentallv determined values reported bv previous researchers. 展开更多
