Theoretical framework for distributed reduction in concept lattice

In order to reduce knowledge reasoning space and improve knowledge processing efficiency, a framework of distributed attribute reduction in concept lattices is presented. By employing the idea similar to that of the rough set, the characterization of core attributes, dispensable attributes and unnecessary attributes are described from the point of view of local formal contexts and virtual global contexts. A determinant theorem of attribute reduction is derived. Based on these results, an approach for distributed attribute reduction is presented. It first performs reduction independently on each local context using the existing approaches, and then local reducts are merged to compute reducts of global contexts. An algorithm implementation is provided and its effectiveness is validated. The distributed reduction algorithm facilitates not only improving computation efficiency but also avoiding the problems caused by the existing approaches, such as data privacy and communication overhead. 展开更多

B.).The components of a wind vector in a mesh follow the error function distribution model or the logarithmic model of 2-variable power function.The wind vector itself follows the vector composition model of these models.We can calculate the wind speed distribution and wind reduction effect of a mesh under the conditions of any shelter-belt characteristics, any size and shape of a mesh and any wind inclination angle with this model. The results of our field model experiment are in better agreement with the theoretically calculated results. 展开更多

Distribution networks are built as interconnected mesh networks; however, they are arr... One of the very important ways to save electrical energy in the distribution system is network reconfiguration for loss reduction. Distribution networks are built as interconnected mesh networks; however, they are arranged to be radial in operation. The distribution feeder reconfiguration is to find a radial operating structure that optimizes network performance while satisfying operating constraints. The change in network configuration is performed by opening sectionalizing (normally closed) and closing tie (normally opened) switches of the network. These switches are changed in such a way that the radial structure of networks is maintained, all of the loads are energized, power loss is reduced, power quality is enhanced, and system security is increased. Distribution feeder reconfiguration is a complex nonlinear combinator- ial problem since the status of the switches is non- differentiable. This paper proposes a new evolutionary algorithm (EA) for solving the distribution feeder reconfiguration (DFR) problem for a 33-bus and a 16- bus sample network, which effectively ensures the loss minimization. 展开更多

To solve optimal reduction effectively, a distributed reduction algorithm on grid service is present. It combines grid services with a novel reduction algorithm on gene expression programming (GEP) (RA-GEP). Simulation experiments show that for mass or high dimensional data sets, the proposed algorithm has advantages in terms of speed and quality in contrast with traditional attribution reduction algorithms on intelligence computing. 展开更多

Bimetallic Au_xCu_y/CeO_2(x/y = 3/1,1/1,and 1 /3) catalysts were prepared by direct anion exchange(DAE),following impregnation(IMP) methods,and used for selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde.The effects of pretreatments,such as calcination or reduction on the catalytic activities of these catalysts were investigated.XRD and HRTEM showed that for the reduced catalysts,there is the formation of an Au-Cu alloy.HAADF-STEM displayed that reduction pretreatment leads to a very homogenous distribution of Au and Cu on the external catalyst surface.Reaction parameters,such as CAL concentration,the stirring speed,nature of the solvent influence the catalytic activities.Pretreatments lead to a major effect on CAL conversion and HCAL selectivity.Catalysts Au_xCu_y/CeO_2 pretreated under reduction display higher CAL conversion and HCAL selectivity than that of under calcination mainly due to the synergistic effect resulting in a formation of Au-Cu alloy. 展开更多
