X-ray diffraction methods for estimating the metamorphic grade of diagenetic, anchizone and epizone in metapelites are reviewed and applied to samples from a 7000 m＋ borehole in western China and surface samples from...X-ray diffraction methods for estimating the metamorphic grade of diagenetic, anchizone and epizone in metapelites are reviewed and applied to samples from a 7000 m＋ borehole in western China and surface samples from the surrounding Zoige area. Kiibler＇s illite crystallinity （IC） measurements provide more consistent results than calculated values of percentage of illite in the I/S mixed layers and percentage of I/S mixed layers. Down-borehole IC values display a typical burial metamorphic relationship between stratigraphic level and IC. A method for preparing very low grade metamorphic maps is described, and isograds plotted on a regional geological map at selected values of IC, delineating a high temperature diagenetic zone, an anchizone, and an epizone. The map shows that IC values are controlled by stratigraphic level in the north of the study area （i.e. burial metamorphism）, and proximity to an igneous intrusive body in the south （i.e. contact metamorphism）.展开更多
The hot deformation characteristics of the Ti-5.7Al-2.1Sn-3.9Zr-2Mo-0.1Si(Ti-6242S)alloy with an acicular starting microstructure were analyzed using processing map.The uniaxial hot compression tests were performed at...The hot deformation characteristics of the Ti-5.7Al-2.1Sn-3.9Zr-2Mo-0.1Si(Ti-6242S)alloy with an acicular starting microstructure were analyzed using processing map.The uniaxial hot compression tests were performed at temperatures ranging from 850 to 1000℃and at strain rates of 0.001-1 s-1.The developed processing map was used to determine the safe and unsafe deformation conditions of the alloy in association with the microstructural evolution by SEM and OM.It was recognized that the flow stress revealed differences in flow softening behavior by deformation at 1000℃compared to the lower deformation temperatures,which was attributed to microstructural changes.The processing map developed for typical strain of 0.7 in two-phase field exhibited high efficiency value of power dissipation of about 55%at 950℃and 0.001 s-1,basically due to extensive globularization.An increase in strain rate and a decrease in temperature resulted in a decrease in globularization ofαlamellae,whileαlamellar kinking increased.Eventually,the instability domain of flow behavior was identified in the temperature range of 850-900℃and at the strain rate higher than 0.01 s-1 reflecting the flow localization and adiabatic shear banding.By considering the power efficiency domains and the microstructural observations,the deformation in the temperature range of 950-1000℃and strain rate range of 0.001-0.01 s-1 was desirable leading to high efficiencies.It was realized that(950℃,0.001 s-1)was the optimum deformation condition for the alloy.展开更多

As an application, it is proved that for any 0 〈 t 〈 1, there always exists a p-order Feigenbaum＇s map which has a likely limit set with Hausdorff dimension t. Methods\ Two oligonucleotide primers were synthesized according to the reported sequence of \%meq\% gene an ideal oncogenic candidate and our previously determined sequence of BamHI L fragment of Marek′s disease herpesvirus (MDV), respectively. Reverse transcriptase PCR(RT PCR) assay was performed by using these primers and the mRNA as a template which was isolated from visceral lymphoblastoid tumors obtained from chickens artificially infected with strain Beijing 1 of oncogenic MDV. Southern blot molecular hybridization was further carried out to detect the product of RT PCR with digoxigenin labeled nucleotide probe from BamHI I2 and L fragment in the gene library of MDV strain GA, respectively. Results\ Two probes could simultaneously hybridize this cDNA amplified by RT PCR with a length of about 730 bp. Conclusion\ It is suggested that \%meq\% transcription could extend from the right hand end of BamHI I2 to the adjacent BamHI L, and the BamHI L region was likely to be transcribed in MDV induced lymphoblastoid tumors.展开更多

Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are proved. Our results extends the recent results in G.L.Acedo and H.K.Xu [2], Zhang, Lee and Chan [8], Wakahashi and Toyoda [9], Takahashi and Takahashi [I0] and S. S. Chang, H. W. Joseph Lee and C. K.
