The simple homodinuclear M-M single bonds for group II and XII elements are difficult to obtain as a result of the fulfilled s2electronic configurations,consequently,a dicationic prototype is often utilized to design ...The simple homodinuclear M-M single bonds for group II and XII elements are difficult to obtain as a result of the fulfilled s2electronic configurations,consequently,a dicationic prototype is often utilized to design the M^+-M^+single bond.Existing studies generally use sterically bulky organic ligands L^-to synthesize the compounds in the L^--M^+-M^+-L-manner.However,here we report the design of Mg-Mg and Zn-Zn single bonds in two ligandless clusters,Mg2B7-and Zn2B7-,using density functional theory methods.The global minima of both of the clusters are in the form of M2^2+(B7^3-),where the M-M single bonds are positioned above a quasi-planar hexagonal B7 moiety.Chemical bonding analyses further confirm the existence of Mg-Mg and Zn-Zn single bonds in these clusters,which are driven by the unusually stable B7^3-moiety that is bothσandπaromatic.Vertical detachment energies of Mg2B7-and Zn2B7-are calculated to be 2.79 e V and 2.94 e V,respectively,for the future comparisons with experimental data.展开更多

Methods A total of 2 491 patients with different kinds of c...Objective To investigate cumulative results of chemosensitivity test using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl (MTT) assay in double-layer agarose. Methods A total of 2 491 patients with different kinds of cancers were enrolled in the study, in which 18 kinds of different anticancer drugs were used. A computer soft was used to get charts. ResultsThe total evaluability rate was 82.7% (2 060/2 491). Among all agents, the efficiency rates of 5-Fu, MMC, DDP, BLM and CBP were higher than the efficiency rates of others. The response rate range of different cancer in vitro sensitivity by using MTT assay in double layer agarose were from 9.2% (biliary duct) to 37.5% (malignant lymphoma). For colon and rectum cancer, 5-Fu, DDP, MMC and BLM were more sensitive than other anti-tumor agents. For breast carcinomas, ACTD and DDP were more sensitive. For gastric cancer, 5-Fu, DDP and BLM were more sensitive. For leukemia, VM-26 and HHRT were more sensitive. ACM was more sensitive to kidney and MXT and BLM were more sensitive to pancreas cancer. For Lung cancer, DDP and EPI were more sensitive. Mean true positive rate, mean true negative rate, mean sensitivity, mean specificity and mean accuracy were 44% , 92% , 72% , 77% , and 76% , respectively. Conclusion Chemosensitivity tesing using the MTT assay in a double layer agarose was a very useful reference to chem- therapy.展开更多
An analytical surface potential model for the single material double work function gate (SMDWG) MOSFET is developed based on the exact resultant solution of the two-dimensional Poisson equation. The model includes t...An analytical surface potential model for the single material double work function gate (SMDWG) MOSFET is developed based on the exact resultant solution of the two-dimensional Poisson equation. The model includes the effects of drain biases, gate oxide thickness, different combinations of S-gate and D-gate length and values of substrate doping concentration. More attention has been paid to seeking to explain the attributes of the SMDWG MOSFET, such as suppressing drain-induced barrier lowering (DIBL), accelerating carrier drift velocity and device speed. The model is verified by comparison to the simulated results using the device simulator MEDICI. The accuracy of the results obtained using our analytical model is verified using numerical simulations. The model not only offers the physical insight into device physics but also provides the basic designing guideline for the device.展开更多
