Dexterity Analysis for Omni-directional Wheeled Mobile Manipulator Based on Double Quaternion

The unified analysis of omni-directional wheeled mobile manipulator(OWMM) through the dimensionally nonhomogeneous Jacobian matrix may lead to unreliable results. The existing researches focus on the integrated performance evaluation of OWMM, without taking the influence of velocity difference into consideration. This paper presents a new approach to formulate the dimensionally homogeneous Jacobian matrix and a new index for OWMM. First, the universal transformational matrix of the link coordinate frame is derived based on double quaternion. The degree of locomotion of a mobile platform and the degrees of manipulation of a manipulator are treated equally as the joints of a redundant composite robot. Then the integrated modeling of OWMM is established, and the non-dimensional Jacobian matrix is obtained from the above matrix. Next, by examining the concept of directional manipulability, a new index is proposed to evaluate the directional manipulability of OWMM along the specified task direction. Furthermore, for the same task and the time of simulation, the kinematic performance of the fixed base operation of the manipulator and the operation of OWMM are analyzed by numerical simulation. The results suggest that the proposed approach is equivalent to the method of traditional kinematic modeling, with the error of numerical solution being 10-7 , and the varying frequency of DMTR is higher than that of the condition number. This indicates that DMTR is more effective to reflect the variation of the task direction. The proposed method can be used to analyze the manipulating capability of OWMM, and has a simple structure and generality in the unified analysis of OWMM. 展开更多

Central region coarse grains and centerline segregation are common defects in aluminum ingots fabricated by direct chill(DC)casting.A double cooling field was introduced into the DC casting process to reduce these defects,whereby the external cooling was supplied by the mold and water jets,and intercooling was achieved by inserting a rod of the same alloy into the molten pool along the central axis of the ingot.Rather than forming a good metallurgical interface during solid-liquid compound casting,in the present work,the purpose of inserting the rod is to enforce internal cooling and consequently decrease the sump depth.Moreover,the insertion provides more nucleation sites with the unmoltenα-Al particles.The structure and the macrosegregation of 2024 Al alloy ingots prepared by DC casting with and without the inserts were investigated.Results show that when the inserting position is 50 mm above the upper edge of the graphite ring,significant grain refinement in the central region of the ingot and a reduced centerline segregation are achieved. 展开更多

On the basis of comprehensive typical spray noz- zles, a direct spiral double helix converging nozzle (DSDHCN) is proposed, which has the advanta- ges of small volume, light weight, simple structure, and convenient installation. To make the spray nozzle have good performance, and meet the requirements of more efficient fire extinguishing, a nu- merical study is carried out to analyze the internal and external full flow field of nozzle. A gas-liquid two-phase flow is applied to simulate the external full flow field of nozzle with VOF model in fluent software. The simulation results show the real situation of water flow out of the atomization nozzle and the water jet trajectory. Some simulations about middle or low water pressure direct spiral double he- lix converging optimized nozzle have been done in 30bar pressure. The simulation results show that the optimized nozzle structure not only makes the spray droplets have a good cone angle, but also have a sufficient axial velocity,which proves the structure rationality of the proposed optimized nozzle. 展开更多

Single(SA) and double(DA) Auger decay including cascade and direct processes are investigated for Hg 4 f^(-1) with multiconfiguration Dirac–Fock method and two-step approaches, i.e., knockout and shakeoff mechanisms. Due to the computational effort, only the major transitions are considered to describe the SA and DA decays for the Hg+ions with complex electronic configurations. In order to estimate the Auger transition energies and amplitudes, the reference configuration sets producing the configuration state functions are carefully chosen for balancing electron correlations among the successive singly, doubly and triply ionized mercury. The Auger rates and electron spectra, DA probabilities as well as the populations of the final Hg^(3+)states are obtained. Our results well explain the recent experimental data about the 4 f hole states of Hg[Palaudoux J et al., Phys. Rev. A 91 012513(2015)], and could provide guidance for further studies on complex atoms.Particularly for the DA decay, the contributions of the direct processes, which are neglected in their calculations, are found to be important, accounting for as high as about 38% and 34% of the total DA decays for the 4 f(7/2)^(-1) and 4 f(5/2)^(-1), respectively. 展开更多

B cells lymphoma is one of the most challenging extrahepatic manifestations of hepatitis C virus(HCV). Recently, a new kind of B-cell lymphoma, named doublehit B(DHL), was characterized with an aggressive clinical course whereas a potential association with HCV was not investigated. The new antiviral direct agents(DAAs) against HCV are effective and curative in the majority of HCV infections. We report the first case, to our knowledge, of DHL and HCV-infection successfully treated by new DAAs. According to our experience, a DHL must be suspected in case of HCV-related lymphoma, and an early diagnosis could direct towards a different hematological management because a worse prognosis might be expected. A possible effect of DAAs on DHL regression should be investigated, but eradicating HCV would avoid life-threatening reactivation of viral hepatitis during pharmacological immunosuppression in oncohaematological diseases. 展开更多

Our simulation indicates that the broadening of the full width at half maximum of the rocking curve of the double crystal monochromator induced by the heat load is about 3.7 μrad, and is in agreement with the experimental value of 5 μrad. To achieve the electric field strength and the induced currents in equivalence in susceptibility tests with the high-level field radiation above 400 MHz,a double differential-mode(DM) current injection method based on directional couplers is proposed.Two cascaded symmetrical directional couplers compose a coupling device to inject the DM currents.When the coupling device is used,two devices are necessary to achieve the equivalence between radiation and injection,i.e.the equivalence between the injected voltages and the field strength,which is linear,regardless of the characteristics of the equipment under test(EUT).The results are verified by experiments using typical coaxial cables and nonlinear devices,where the equivalence between the nonlinear EUT responses induced by radiation and injection at both ends is achieved by using two coupling devices.At a frequency up to 1.75 GHz,the maximal experimental error is only 3.39%.The experimental results confirm the accuracy of the proposed method even both the EUTs work in the nonlinear region.The proposed method is applicable for radiated susceptibility(RS) testing of interconnected systems in the microwave frequency band. 展开更多

A novel low specific on-resistance (Ron,sp) lateral double-diffused metal oxide semiconductor (LDMOS) with a buried improved super-junction (BISJ) layer is proposed. A super-junction layer is buried in the drift region and the P pillar is split into two parts with different doping concentrations. Firstly, the buried super-junction layer causes the multiple-direction assisted depletion effect. The drift region doping concentration of the BISJ LDMOS is therefore much higher than that of the conventional LDMOS. Secondly, the buried super-junction layer provides a bulk low on-resistance path. Both of them reduce Ron,sp greatly. Thirdly, the electric field modulation effect of the new electric field peak introduced by the step doped P pillar improves the breakdown voltage (BV). The BISJ LDMOS exhibits a BV of 300 V and Ron,sp of 8.08 mΩ·cm2 which increases BV by 35% and reduces Ron,sp by 60% compared with those of a conventional LDMOS with a drift length of 15 μm, respectively. 展开更多

Through numerical calculation and analysis, the output torque of double-stator permanent-magnet brushless motor of the same volume as the traditional machine is discussed, and the reduction of torque ripple by using the structure features of this motor is investigated. The results indicate that lower torque ripple under the condition of ideal effective torque can be obtained by the rational design of motor. The model of the turbine is drawn from the classical equations describing the operation of a variable wind speed. The torque generated by the turbine is applied to the DFAM directly connected on the network side and the stator via a bidirectional converter side rotor. This configuration allows velocity variations of ±30% around the synchronous speed and the converter is then sized to one third of the rated power of the machine. The direct torque control of the dual star induction motor(DTC-DSIM) using conventional PI controllers is characterized by unsatisfactory performance, such as high ripples of torque and flux, and sensitivity to parametric variations. Among the most evoked control strategies adopted in this field to overcome these drawbacks presented in classical drive, it is worth mentioning the use of the second order sliding mode control(SOSMC) based on the super twisting algorithm(STA) combined with the fuzzy logic control(FSOSMC). In order to realize the optimal control performance, the FSOSMC parameters are adjusted using an optimization algorithm based on the genetic algorithm(GA). The performances of the envisaged control scheme, called G-FSOSMC, are investigated against G-SOSMC, G-PI and BBO-FSOSMC algorithms. The proposed controller scheme is efficient in reducing the torque and flux ripples, and successfully suppresses chattering. The effects of parametric uncertainties do not affect system performance. 展开更多

Investigation of selectivity of crystal growth direction in layered double hydroxides is helpful to control their particle sizes in different directions. Mg-AI layered double hydroxides (LDHs) were synthesized using a coprecipitation method. The influences of aging temperature, aging time, and Mg/AI molar ratio on the crystal structure, the LDHs particle size, and the selectivity of crystal growth in different directions were investigated. The results show that the size of the crystallites in the a direction is larger than that in the c direction for all experimental conditions, indicating faster crystal growth in the a direction than in the c direction. The crystallite sizes in the a and c directions both increase with decreasing Mg/AI molar ratio but with less difference between the sizes in the two directions. Therefore, the crystal growth rate in the c direction increases more than that in the a direction as the Mg/AI molar ratio decreases. The influence of the aging time, aging temperature, and Mg/AI molar ratio on the selectivity of the crystal growth direction can be used to prepare LDHs with selected sizes in the a and c directions. 展开更多

Peer-to-peer(P2P)spectrum sharing and energy trading are promising solutions to locally satisfy spectrum and energy demands in power Internet of Things(IoT).However,implementation of largescale P2P spectrum sharing and energy trading confronts security and privacy challenges.In this paper,we exploit consortium blockchain and Directed Acyclic Graph(DAG)to propose a new secure and distributed spectrum sharing and energy trading framework in power IoT,named spectrum-energy chain,where a set of local aggregators(LAGs)cooperatively confirm the identity of the power devices by utilizing consortium blockchain,so as to form a main chain.Then,the local power devices verify spectrum and energy micro-transactions simultaneously but asynchronously to form local spectrum tangle and local energy tangle,respectively.Moreover,an iterative double auction based micro transactions scheme is designed to solve the spectrum and energy pricing and the amount of shared spectrum and energy among power devices.Security analysis and numerical results illustrate that the developed spectrum-energy chain and the designed iterative double auction based microtransactions scheme are secure and efficient for spectrum sharing and energy trading in power IoT. 展开更多

With the benefit fierce competition in the steel industry market in recent years,double cold reduction products have been developed towards strength improvement and thickness reduction.The traditional cold-rolling lubrication process with a fixed flow rate and concentration cannot solve the problems,which are uncontrollable plate shape and the excessive consumption of lubricating oil.Moreover,based on the analysis of the traditional direct aplication lubrication system of double cold reduction mill,a set of design scheme suitable for the emulsion pipeline direct mixing lubrication system of double cold reduction mill unit was proposed.The design completed the selection of key components,which included the static mixer and atomization nozzle selection,pump and oil pump design selection,pipeline design selection,flow type selection,pressure gauge selection,electronic control cabinet design selection and other eight aspects.Equipment of the emulsion pipeline direct mixing lubrication system of double cold reduction has been developed.Comparing with characteristics of the traditional direct aplication lubrication system,the emulsion pipeline direct mixing lubrication system was better applied to the production practice of a 1220 double cold reduction mill.The consumption of ton of steel was reduced by 9.6%.The rolling energy consumption and fuel consumption comprehensive costs decreased by 10.7%,and the strip steel section thickness difference was reduced by 19.3%.In addition,the plate shape quality defect rate decreased by 25.6%,otherwise creating a large economic benefit for the unit and promoting the application value. 展开更多

节理岩体的抗剪性能是影响工程岩体强度及稳定性的关键因素。基于3D打印技术制作标准JRC节理面模具和固定夹板,采取一体化浇筑方式制备不同节理面间距和不同粗糙度的双节理试样,结合声发射(acousticemission,AE)技术探究不同法向应力条... 节理岩体的抗剪性能是影响工程岩体强度及稳定性的关键因素。基于3D打印技术制作标准JRC节理面模具和固定夹板,采取一体化浇筑方式制备不同节理面间距和不同粗糙度的双节理试样,结合声发射(acousticemission,AE)技术探究不同法向应力条件下粗糙双节理岩体剪切力学特性和破坏演化特征。结果表明:剪切应力-剪切位移曲线形态受节理粗糙度和法向应力共同影响。随JRC和法向应力的增加,剪切应力软化程度加重;法向应力较大时,峰后阶段剪切应力存在多次突降现象,突降值随法向应力的增加而增大。峰值剪切强度出现在双节理间岩石夹层断裂时刻,随JRC和法向应力的增加呈增大趋势,随节理面间距增加呈减小趋势。AE结果表明:岩石夹层断裂时刻AE能量大幅突增,AE能量峰值稍滞后于剪切应力峰值,随法向应力的增加,AE能量峰值和累积AE能量值增大;AE定位点空间上集中于岩石夹层部分,时间上频发于200~600 s内,随节理面间距的增加,AE定位点的集中范围扩大。 展开更多

为了分析同向双路拱路面小客车换道行驶舒适性与安全性,使用Carsim仿真软件建立了小客车换道轨迹模型、车辆动力学模型、同向双路拱和单向坡道路模型,以平曲线极限半径值作为换道轨迹半径值,开展多工况跨路拱换道行驶试验,并通过实车驾... 为了分析同向双路拱路面小客车换道行驶舒适性与安全性,使用Carsim仿真软件建立了小客车换道轨迹模型、车辆动力学模型、同向双路拱和单向坡道路模型,以平曲线极限半径值作为换道轨迹半径值,开展多工况跨路拱换道行驶试验,并通过实车驾驶实验对仿真模型进行了准确性验证。结合横向加速度、横摆角速度、峰值附着系数和横向荷载转移率等四项指标变化情况和判断标准对同向双路拱路面小客车换道行驶状态进行了分析。研究结果表明:道路类型对车辆换道行驶稳定性影响较大,综合评价指标与回正增益系数的变化情况,在同向双路拱路面条件下,SUV(suburban utility vehicle)和微型面包车(minivan)换道行驶稳定性均能满足安全行驶要求;换道行驶稳定性由高到低对应的路面类型为:单向坡路面>抛物线型路拱路面>折线型路拱路面;折线型路拱路面条件下,SUV换道行驶稳定性优于Minivan。超速行驶对小客车换道行驶稳定性有显著影响,超速程度越高,稳定越差,即当基础车速为100 km/h和120 km/h时,超速10%和20%时,车辆换道行驶过程中均不存在侧滑风险,但车辆稳定性均处于较差状态。 展开更多

新旧混凝土界面双面直剪性能尺寸效应试验研究

以界面处理方式、横向约束形式、混凝土强度、界面尺寸为变量,开展了8组50个新旧混凝土界面试件双面直剪试验研究,得到界面受剪破坏形态和抗剪强度-滑移曲线,分析界面抗剪强度的尺寸效应规律,拟合得到新旧混凝土双面直剪试件极限应力尺... 以界面处理方式、横向约束形式、混凝土强度、界面尺寸为变量,开展了8组50个新旧混凝土界面试件双面直剪试验研究,得到界面受剪破坏形态和抗剪强度-滑移曲线,分析界面抗剪强度的尺寸效应规律,拟合得到新旧混凝土双面直剪试件极限应力尺寸效应的换算系数,建立受剪承载力计算表达式。结果表明:在剪力作用方向上,新旧混凝土界面受剪极限应力存在明显的随界面高度增加而降低的尺寸效应现象;开裂应力、裂通应力以及滑移的尺寸效应不明显;施加横向约束可提升界面裂通应力和极限应力;施加预压应力可显著提升试件的裂通应力,并有效限制试件的极限滑移。无横向约束条件下,凿毛形式对极限应力影响显著,相比整浇混凝土试件,机械凿毛的同强度新旧混凝土双面直剪极限应力减少至整浇试件的0.22以下,而人工凿毛试件的折减系数在0.34~0.37之间。有横向约束条件下,同凿毛粗糙界面相比,规则齿槽试件的开裂应力、裂通应力以及滑移表现优势突出;约束下强度折减系数提高到无约束同等条件试件的2~2.5倍以上,最大可达到整浇试件强度的0.97倍。新旧混凝土强度提高可增加试件裂通应力和极限应力,但提升幅度有限。 展开更多
