Constitutive equations of 1060 pure aluminum based on modified double multiple nonlinear regression model 被引量:6

In order to study the work-ability and establish the optimum hot formation processing parameters for industrial 1060 pure aluminum, the compressive deformation behavior of pure aluminum was investigated at temperatures of 523?823 K and strain rates of 0.005?10 s?1 on a Gleeble?1500 thermo-simulation machine. The influence rule of processing parameters (strain, strain rate and temperature) on flow stress of pure aluminum was investigated. Nine analysis factors consisting of material parameters and according weights were optimized. Then, the constitutive equations of multilevel series rules, multilevel parallel rules and multilevel series &parallel rules were established. The correlation coefficients (R) are 0.992, 0.988 and 0.990, respectively, and the average absolute relative errors (AAREs) are 6.77%, 8.70% and 7.63%, respectively, which proves that the constitutive equations of multilevel series rules can predict the flow stress of pure aluminum with good correlation and precision. 展开更多

In order to improve the safety of drilling operations, this paper presents a new method for forecasting the ultimate bearing capacity of oil field drilling masts. The method is based on a double nonlinear finite element theory and applies a referential stress method for measuring defects and defacements. The lab mast model was analyzed using the proposed method. The relative error, which was less than 5.0% between the forecast results and the destructive experiment values,verified the correctness of this method. It also forecasts the ultimate bearing capacity for a local drilling mast. 展开更多

The elevated-temperature deformation behavior of Ti2AlNb superalloy was observed by isothermal compression experiments in a wide range of temperatures(950–1200°C)and strain rates(0.001–10 s^(-1)).The flow behavior is nonlinear,strongly coupled,and multivariable.The constitutive models,namely the double multivariate nonlinear regression model,artificial neural network model,and modified artificial neural network model with an explicit expression,were applied to describe the Ti2AlNb superalloy plastic deformation behavior.The comparative predictability of those constitutive models was further evaluated by considering the correlation coefficient and average absolute relative error.The comparative results show that the modified artificial network model can describe the flow stress of Ti2AlNb superalloy more accurately than the other developed constitutive models.The explicit expression obtained from the modified artificial neural network model can be directly used for finite element simulation.The modified artificial neural network model solves the problems that the double multivariate nonlinear regression model cannot describe the nonlinear,strongly coupled,and multivariable flow behavior of Ti2AlNb superalloy accurately,and the artificial neural network model cannot be embedded into the finite element software directly.However,the modified artificial neural network model is mainly dependent on the quantity of high-quality experimental data and characteristic variables,and the modified artificial neural network model has not physical meanings.Besides,the processing maps were applied to obtain the optimum processing parameters. 展开更多
