Since mechanical loads exert a significant influence on the life span of wind turbines, the reduction of transient load on drive-train shaft has received more attention when implementing a maximum power point tracking U+0028 MPPT U+0029 controller. Moreover, a trade-off between the efficiency of wind energy extraction and the load level of drive-train shaft becomes a key issue. However, for the existing control strategies based on nonlinear model of wind turbines, the MPPT efficiencies are improved at the cost of the intensive fluctuation of generator torque and significant increase of transient load on drive train shaft. Hence, in this paper, a nonlinear controller with variable parameter is proposed for improving MPPT efficiency and mitigating transient load on drive-train simultaneously. Then, simulations on FAST U+0028 Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Turbulence U+0029 code and experiments on the wind turbine simulator U+0028 WTS U+0029 based test bench are presented to verify the efficiency improvement of the proposed control strategy with less cost of drive-train load. © 2017 Chinese Association of Automation. 展开更多

To meet stringent requirements in vacuum and cleanness for semiconductor manufacturing, a new power drive module for Selective Compliant Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) type robot has been developed for wafer-transfer. In order to obtain complete hermetic volume for higher vacuum and prevent leakage of hazardous gases, feedthrough motions involving transfer between the vacuum and motors are achieved by the use of metal bellows and magnetic coupling. An analysis of the coaxial-type magnetic coupling by employing the technique of current sheet model is presented. This approach is proved to be a precise and easy method. The construction of power drive module shows its advantage in maintaining ultrahigh vacuum and also enhances the efficiency for transporting the wafer, as compared with conventional design. 展开更多

In order to reduce the driving fatigue in sowing work, this paper based on heart rate (HR) as the main indicator to survey, tested and analyzed the fatigue condition of the drivers of three imported tractors and one domestic tractor in sowing work. The results showed that when driving the imported tractors in sowing work, the HR increasing rate was 10.4%-14.3%, labor intensity belonged to the light level; when driving domestic tractor in sowing work, the HR increasing rate was 23.4%-33.0%, it was remarkably bigger than that of driving imported tractors (P〈0.05), labor intensity belonged to the middle level. The main effects on driving fatigue included the control methods, tractors' cab environment, processing time, operating content, and so on. Finally, we proposed the concrete measures and suggestions to reduce driving fatigue and improve drivers' work condition. 展开更多

Switch electro-hydraulic proportional amplifier(PA) widely employs single switch modulation power driving(SSMPD) or reverse discharging power driving(RDPD) at present. SSMPD has slow dynamic response, and can't adjust independently the dither signal's amplitude and frequency; RDPD accelerates the current decay; consequently, it increases current ripple and power loss. For the purpose of solving the above mentioned problem, the tri-state modulation power driving(TSMPD) scheme was proposed for improving the performance of power driving. Detailedly, the hardware circuit for the tri-state modulation power driving is designed; the tri-state modulation algorithm is realized by digital signal processor(DSP). The tri-state modulation power driving is investigated by experiments, comparetive experiments among the single switch modulation power driving(SSMPD), reverse discharging power driving(RDPD), and the TSMPD are implemented, and the experimental results demonstrate that the linearity error of TSMDP meets the requirement of PA; the current response of TSMSP is the best; the amplitude of ripple current of the TSMPD can be reduced without increasing frequency of PWM, in addition, dither signal amplitude and frequency can be adjusted independently for each other. It is very meaningful to guide the development of high performance proportional amplifier for high frequency response proportional solenoid. 展开更多

The high power and continuous wave (CW) mode microwave test bench operating at 250 kW/4.6 GHz has already been finished, which can be used to simulate different kinds of high power microwave environments to test microwave components and units for the new LHCD sys- tem. The power control and data acquisition system on the test bench composed of power control, high reflected power protection and data acquisition function is described here in detail. Magnetic drive pump has gotten great achievement and has been widely used in some special fields. Currently, the researches on magnetic drive pump have focused on hydraulic design, bearing, axial force in China, and a new magnetic drive pump with low flow and high head have been developed overseas. However, low efficiency and large size are the common disadvantages for the magnetic drive pump. In order to study the performance of high-speed magnetic drive pump, FLUENT was used to simulate the inner flow field of magnetic drive pumps with different rotate speeds, and get velocity and pressure distributions of inner flow field. According to analysis the changes of velocity and pressure to ensure the stable operation of pump and avoid cavitation. Based on the analysis of velocity and pressure, this paper presents the pump efficiency of magnetic drive pumps with different rotated speeds by calculating the power loss in impeller and volute, hydraulic loss, volumetric loss, mechanical loss and discussing the different reasons of power loss between the magnetic drive pumps with different rotated speeds. In addition, the magnetic drive pumps were tested in a closed testing system. Pressure sensors were set in inlet and outlet of magnetic drive pumps to get the pressure and the head, while the pump efficiency could be got by calculating the power loss between the input power and the outlet power. The results of simulation and test were similar, which shows that the method of simulation is feasible. The proposed research provides the instruction to design high-speed magnetic drive pump. 展开更多

A -35 kV/2.8 MW/1000s high-voltage power supply (HVPS) for HT-7 superconducting tokamak has been built successfully. The HVPS is scheduled to run on a 2.45 GHz/1 MW lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) [1] system of HT-7 superconducting tokamak before the set-up of HT-7 superconducting tokamak in 2003. The HVPS has a series of advantages such as good steady and dynamic response, logical computer program controlling the HVPS without any fault, operational panel and experimental board for data acquisition, which both are grounded distinctively in a normative way to protect the main body of HVPS along with its attached equipments from dangers. Electric power cables and other control cables are disposed reasonably, to prevent signals from magnetic interference and ensure the precision of signal transfer.This paper involves the experiment and operation of a 35 kV/2.8 MW/1000s HVPS [2] for 2.45 GHz/1 MW LHCD system. The reliability and feasibility of the HVPS has been demonstrated in comparison with experimental results of original design and simulation data. 展开更多

直驱式波浪发电系统具有结构简单、成本低、效率高等优点,得到了国内外学者的广泛关注。该文以直驱式波浪发电系统为研究对象,分析并建立了直驱式波浪发电装置的水动力数学模型和永磁直线电机的动态数学模型。推导了基于模型预测的功率... 直驱式波浪发电系统具有结构简单、成本低、效率高等优点,得到了国内外学者的广泛关注。该文以直驱式波浪发电系统为研究对象,分析并建立了直驱式波浪发电装置的水动力数学模型和永磁直线电机的动态数学模型。推导了基于模型预测的功率控制策略用于直驱式波浪发电系统。在功率控制策略中从功率捕获策略和功率跟踪控制策略展开研究以实现将波浪能转换为电能并汇入直流母线。重点围绕功率捕获策略开展基于模型预测控制技术研究,分别从控制策略、预测区间和成本函数三个角度分析了基于模型预测的最优功率捕获策略。建立了仿真模型并进行仿真分析,结果表明,采用基于模型预测的最优功率捕获策略可有效提高不规则波下发电机从波浪发电系统捕获能量。此外,采用以直流母线功率汇入最大为目标的成本函数可以有效地提高发电机输入直流侧能量,具有重要的实用价值。最后通过实验室模拟平台进行了实验测试。 展开更多

In this paper, the mathematical dynamical model of a PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cells) stack, integrated with an automotive synchronous electrical power drive, developed in Matlab environment, is shown. Lots of simulations have been executed in many load conditions. In this paper, the load conditions regarding an electrical vehicle for disabled people is reported. The innovation in this field concerns the integration, in the PEMFC stack mathematical dynamic model, of a synchronous electrical power drive for automotive purposes. Goal of the simulator design has been to create an useful tool which is able to evaluate the behaviour of the whole system so as to optimize the components choose. As regards the simulations with a synchronous electrical power drive, the complete mathematical model allows to evaluate the PEMFC stack performances and electrochemical efficiency. 展开更多

Current high power load simulators are generally incapable of obtaining both high loading performance and high energy efficiency. Simulators with high energy efficiency are used to simulate static-state load, and those with high dynamic performance typically have low energy efficiency. In this paper, the variants of secondary control(VSC) with power recovery are developed to solve this problem for loading hydraulic driving devices that operate under variable pressure, unlike classical secondary control(CSC) that operates in constant pressure network. Hydrostatic secondary control units are used as the loading components, by which the absorbed mechanical power from the tested device is converted into hydraulic power and then fed back into the tested system through 4 types of feedback passages(FPs). The loading subsystem can operate in constant pressure network, controlled variable pressure network, or the same variable pressure network as that of the tested device by using different FPs. The 4 types of systems are defined, and their key techniques are analyzed, including work principle, simulating the work state of original tested device, static operation points, loading performance, energy efficiency, and control strategy, etc. The important technical merits of the 4 schemes are compared, and 3 of the schemes are selected, designed, simulated using AMESim and evaluated. The researching results show that the investigated systems can simulate the given loads effectively, realize the work conditions of the tested device, and furthermore attain a high power recovery efficiency that ranges from 0.54 to 0.85, even though the 3 schemes have different loading performances and energy efficiencies. This paper proposes several loading schemes that can achieve both high dynamic performance and high power recovery efficiency. 展开更多

The current match method of electric powertrain still makes use of longitudinal dynamics, which can’t realize maximum capacity for on-board energy storage unit and can’t reach lowest equivalent fuel consumption as well. Another match method focuses on improving available space considering reasonable layout of vehicle to enlarge rated energy capacity for on-board energy storage unit, which can keep the longitudinal dynamics performance almost unchanged but can’t reach lowest fuel consumption. Considering the characteristics of driving motor, method of electric powertrain matching utilizing conventional longitudinal dynamics for driving system and cut-and-try method for energy storage system is proposed for passenger cars converted from traditional ones. Through combining the utilization of vehicle space which contributes to the on-board energy amount, vehicle longitudinal performance requirements, vehicle equivalent fuel consumption level, passive safety requirements and maximum driving range requirement together, a comprehensive optimal match method of electric powertrain for battery-powered electric vehicle is raised. In simulation, the vehicle model and match method is built in Matlab/simulink, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule (UDDS) is chosen as a test condition. The simulation results show that 2.62% of regenerative energy and 2% of energy storage efficiency are increased relative to the traditional method. The research conclusions provide theoretical and practical solutions for electric powertrain matching for modern battery-powered electric vehicles especially for those converted from traditional ones, and further enhance dynamics of electric vehicles. 展开更多

锂电池在充电过程中充电电压变化范围大,其等效阻抗不断增加,会带来恒流过充以及恒压欠充问题,结合锂电池在快速充电过程中的动态特性,提出一种基于半桥驱动的恒流恒压可重构的S/LCC-LCC无线电能传输(WPT)系统。半桥驱动的WPT系统仅用... 锂电池在充电过程中充电电压变化范围大,其等效阻抗不断增加,会带来恒流过充以及恒压欠充问题,结合锂电池在快速充电过程中的动态特性,提出一种基于半桥驱动的恒流恒压可重构的S/LCC-LCC无线电能传输(WPT)系统。半桥驱动的WPT系统仅用一个切换开关进行拓扑重构即可实现系统输出特性的切换,具有所用元件少,重构拓扑简单等特性。首先,给出了基于S/LCC-LCC的拓扑重构原理;其次,分析了半桥驱动的重构拓扑的恒流恒压以及零相角特性;再次,给出了WPT系统的异常工况以及相应解决办法;最后,搭建了仿真和实验平台。验证性的WPT系统在恒流模式能输出恒定电流3.47 A,在恒压模式能输出恒定电压48.2 V。仿真与实验结果验证了所提方法的正确性。 展开更多
