Aiming at the problem that the data-driven automatic correlation methods which are difficult to adapt to the automatic correlation of oil-bearing strata with large changes in lateral sedimentary facies and strata thickness,an intelligent automatic correlation method of oil-bearing strata based on pattern constraints is formed.We propose to introduce knowledge-driven in automatic correlation of oil-bearing strata,constraining the correlation process by stratigraphic sedimentary patterns and improving the similarity measuring machine and conditional constraint dynamic time warping algorithm to automate the correlation of marker layers and the interfaces of each stratum.The application in Shishen 100 block in the Shinan Oilfield of the Bohai Bay Basin shows that the coincidence rate of the marker layers identified by this method is over 95.00%,and the average coincidence rate of identified oil-bearing strata reaches 90.02% compared to artificial correlation results,which is about 17 percentage points higher than that of the existing automatic correlation methods.The accuracy of the automatic correlation of oil-bearing strata has been effectively improved. 展开更多

This paper further explores the estimating and expressing of dynamic balance constraints using statistical methods in GRAPES-3DVAR(Version GM). Unlike the single-level scheme which only considers the coupling between mass and wind at one level, the multi-level scheme considers the coupling between their vertical profiles and calculates the balanced mass field at each layer using the rotational wind at all model levels. A reformed ridge regression method is used in the new scheme to avoid the multicollinearity problem and reduce the noises caused by unbalanced mesoscale disturbances. The results of numerical experiments show that the new scheme can get more reasonable vertical mass field, reduce the magnitude of the adjustment by the initialization, and improve the potential temperature analysis performance. Furthermore, the results of forecast verification in January(winter) and July(summer) both confirm that the new scheme can significantly improve the temperature forecast accuracy and bring slight positive effects to the pressure and wind forecast. 展开更多

A mathematical model was developed for layout optimization of truss structures with discrete variables subjected to dynamic stress, dynamic displacement and dynamic stability constraints. By using the quasi-static method, the mathematical model of structure optimization under dynamic stress, dynamic displacement and dynamic stability constraints were transformed into one subjected to static stress, displacement and stability constraints. The optimization procedures include two levels, i.e., the topology optimization and the shape optimization. In each level, the comprehensive algorithm was used and the relative difference quotients of two kinds of variables were used to search the optimum solution. A comparison between the optimum results of model with stability constraints and the optimum results of model without stability constraint was given. And that shows the stability constraints have a great effect on the optimum solutions. 展开更多

In this paper a computational methodology on impact dynamics of the flexible multibody system is presented. First, the floating frame of reference approach and nodal coordinates on the basis of finite element formulation are used to describe the kinematics of planar deformable bodies. According to the kinematic description of contact conditions, the contact constraint equations of planar flexible bodies are derived. Based on the varying topology technique the impact dynamic equations for a planar multibody system are established. Then the initial conditions of the equations in each contact stage are determined according to the discontinuity theory in continuum mechanics. The experiments between the aluminum rods are performed to check the correctness of the proposed method. Through the comparison between the numerical and experimental results the proposed method is validated. Experimental results also show that the impulse momentum method cannot accurately predict the complex impact dynamic phenomena and the continuous model may lead to a serious error when used to simulate the impact problems with significant wave propagation effects. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with the dynamics of a spacecraft with multi-strut passive damper for large flexible appendage.The damper platform is connected to the spacecraft by a spheric hinge,multiple damping struts and a rigid strut.The damping struts provide damping forces while the rigid strut produces a motion constraint of the multibody system.The exact nonlinear dynamical equations in reducedorder form are firstly derived by using Kane's equation in matrix form.Based on the assumptions of small velocity and small displacement,the nonlinear equations are reduced to a set of linear second-order differential equations in terms of independent generalized displacements with constant stiffness matrix and damping matrix related to the damping strut parameters.Numerical simulation results demonstrate the damping effectiveness of the damper for both the motion of the spacecraft and the vibration of the flexible appendage,and verify the accuracy of the linear equations against the exact nonlinear ones. 展开更多

The potential role of formal structural optimization was investigated for designing foldable and deployable structures in this work.Shape-sizing nested optimization is a challenging design problem.Shape,represented by the lengths and relative angles of elements,is critical to achieving smooth deployment to a desired span,while the section profiles of each element must satisfy structural dynamic performances in each deploying state.Dynamic characteristics of deployable structures in the initial state,the final state and also the middle deploying states are all crucial to the structural dynamic performances.The shape was represented by the nodal coordinates and the profiles of cross sections were represented by the diameters and thicknesses.SQP(sequential quadratic programming) method was used to explore the design space and identify the minimum mass solutions that satisfy kinematic and structural dynamic constraints.The optimization model and methodology were tested on the case-study of a deployable pantograph.This strategy can be easily extended to design a wide range of deployable structures,including deployable antenna structures,foldable solar sails,expandable bridges and retractable gymnasium roofs. 展开更多

Collaborative optimization (CO) is one of the most widely used methods in multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO), which is an effective methodology to solve modem complex engineering problems. CO consists of ... Collaborative optimization (CO) is one of the most widely used methods in multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO), which is an effective methodology to solve modem complex engineering problems. CO consists of two-level optimization problems which are system optimization problem and subspace optimization problem. The architecture of CO can reserve the autonomy of individual disciplines in maximum, while providing a mechanism for coordinating design problem. However, CO has low computation efficiency and is easy to diverge. For the purpose of solving these problems, the former improved methods were studied. The relaxation factors were used to change the system consistency constraints to inequality constraints, or the response surface estimation was used to surrogate the system consistency constraints. However, these methods didn't avoid the computational difficulties very well, furthermore, some new problems arose. The concept of optimum constraint sensitivity was proposed, and the quadratic constraints in system level were reformed. Hence, a new collaborative optimization was developed, which is called system level dynamic constraint collaborative optimization (DCCO). The novel method is able to increase the exchange of information between system level and disciplinary level. The optimization results of each disciplinary optimization can be feedback to system level with the optimum constraint sensitivity. On the basis of the information, the new system level linear dynamic constraints can be constructed; it is better to reflect the effect of disciplinary level optimizations. The system level optimizer can clearly capture the boundary where disciplinary objective functions become zero, and considerably enhance the convergence. Two standard MDO examples were conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of DCCO. The results show that DCCO can save the solving time, and is much better in terms of convergence and robustness, hence, the new method is more efficient. 展开更多

This paper deals with both the leading train and the following train in a train tracking under a four-aspect fixed autoblock system in order to study the optimum operating strategy for energy saving. After analyzing the working principle of the four-aspect fixed autoblock system, an energy-saving control model is created based on the dynamics equation of the Wains. In addition to safety, energy consumption and time error are the main concerns of the model. Based on this model, dynamic speed constraints of the following train are proposed, defined by the leading gain dynamically. At the same time, the static speed constraints defined by the line conditions are also taken into account. The parallel genetic algorithm is used to search the optimum operating strategy. In order to simplify the solving process, the external punishment function is adopted to transform this problem with constraints to the one without constraints. By using the real number coding and the strategy of dividing ramps into three parts, the convergence of GA is accelerated and the length of chromosomes is shortened. The simulation result from a four-aspect fixed autoblock system simulation platform shows that the method can reduce the energy consumption effectively in the premise of ensuring safety and punctuality. 展开更多

The induced Lorentz force provides a new mean of propellantless electromagnetic propulsion for orbital control. Modeling the Earth magnetic field as a tilted dipole that co-rotates with the Earth, this paper develops a nonlinear dynamical model that describes the relative motion of the Lorentz spacecraft about an arbitrary reference orbit. Based on the proposed dynamical model, feasibility of Lorentz-propelled rendezvous with no restrictions on the initial states is investigated. The rendezvous problem is then formulated as an optimal control problem, and solved with the Gauss pseudospectral method(GPM). Numerical simulations substantiate the validity of proposed model and method, and results show that the propellantless rendezvous is achieved at both fixed and free final time. 展开更多

Compared to single arm robot system, dual arm robot has the ability of performing human-like dexterity and cooperation. Dual arm cooperative operation has attracted more and more attention in industrial applications, such as in assembly of complex parts, manufacturing tasks and handling objects. A unified dynamic control method, which is divided into three modes, namely, independent mode, dependent mode, and half dependent mode, is proposed for a redundant dual arm robot with focus on the movement and force of the desired task being operated. Attention is devoted to develop a unified formulation of the above three modes. In addition, a closed form of inverse kinematic solution instead of numerical integration approach is proposed with the aim to guarantee position accuracy. Different from traditional dynamic controllers, where the independent redundancy resolution is obtained based on particular velocity or acceleration levels, here the two dynamic controllers are improved by combining a closed form of inverse kinematic solution with velocity and acceleration levels. Furthermore, the theoretical results of the proposed control method are validated by simulations and experiments. 展开更多

This paper proposes a method for planning the three-dimensional path for low-flying unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) in complex terrain based on interfered fluid dynamical system(IFDS) and the theory of obstacle avoidance by the flowing stream. With no requirement of solutions to fluid equations under complex boundary conditions, the proposed method is suitable for situations with complex terrain and different shapes of obstacles. Firstly, by transforming the mountains, radar and anti-aircraft fire in complex terrain into cylindrical, conical, spherical, parallelepiped obstacles and their combinations, the 3D low-flying path planning problem is turned into solving streamlines for obstacle avoidance by fluid flow. Secondly, on the basis of a unified mathematical expression of typical obstacle shapes including sphere, cylinder, cone and parallelepiped, the modulation matrix for interfered fluid dynamical system is constructed and 3D streamlines around a single obstacle are obtained. Solutions to streamlines with multiple obstacles are then derived using weighted average of the velocity field. Thirdly, extra control force method and virtual obstacle method are proposed to deal with the stagnation point and the case of obstacles' overlapping respectively. Finally, taking path length and flight height as sub-goals, genetic algorithm(GA) is used to obtain optimal 3D path under the maneuverability constraints of the UAV. Simulation results show that the environmental modeling is simple and the path is smooth and suitable for UAV. Theoretical proof is also presented to show that the proposed method has no effect on the characteristics of fluid avoiding obstacles. 展开更多
