Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological storage.Based on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this study.The model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) storage.For nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) storage.Large CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,respectively.Component diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous media.Component diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,respectively.In addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,respectively.This study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes. 展开更多

Gelation of resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) system wassensitive to pH,salinity and hardness. Generally,this gel system could be used in fresh water orlow salinity brine at pH higher than about 9. The application would require careful monitoring ofinjection fluids to avoid premature gelation or prolonged shut-in times,especially under conditionsof low salinity and high pH. Salinity and hardness compatibilities of the system were improved bysulfomethylation of resorcinol. Aqueous sulfomethylated resorcinol formaldehyde (SMRF)system could be used in brine with higher salinity and hardness and at a wider pH range of 5--10. 展开更多

Two sets of displacement experiments were conducted with thissystem (containing 5% NaCl, 0. 036% CaCl_2. 2H_2O). The brine permeabilities of the coreswere reduced significantly from about 600 to 0.1 md. The in-situ gelation in Berea core occurreda little bit earlier than gelation anticipated from bulk test in the experiments. The gel time waseasier to control at initial pH between 6 and 8. During injection of SMRF system, the apparentviscosity was less than 1 mPa·s at 41℃. 展开更多

Asymmetrically modified Janus graphene oxide(JGO)has attracted great attention due to its unique physical chemistry properties and wide applications.The modification degree of Janus nanosheets inevitably affects their interfacial activity,which is essential for their performances in enhanced oil recovery(EOR).In this study,the interfacial properties of Janus graphene oxide(JGO)with various modification degrees at liquid-liquid and liquid-solid interfaces were systematically evaluated via the measurements of interfacial tension(IFT),dilatational modulus,contact angle,and EOR efficiency was further assessed by core flooding tests.It is found that JGO-5 with higher modification degree exhibits the greater ability to reduce IFT(15.16 mN/m)and dilatational modulus(26 mN/m).Furthermore,JGO can construct interfacial and climbing film with the assistance of hydrodynamic power to effectively detach the oil from the rock surface and greatly enhance oil recovery.Moderately modified JGO-2 can highly improve recovery of residual crude oil(11.53%),which is regarded as the promising EOR agent in practical application.The present study firstly focuses on the effects of modification degrees on the JGO interfacial properties and proposes diverse EOR mechanisms for JGO with different modification degrees. 展开更多

采用自主开发的间歇反应器,以CO2和CH4体积比为50:50的混合气体作为EOR产出气的模拟气,MDEA为主吸收剂,分别添加MEA、DEA、PZ和AMP作为活化剂,研究优选最佳的强化采油(EOR)产出气CO2回收MDEA复配溶液。通过饱和吸收量、平均吸收速率、... 采用自主开发的间歇反应器,以CO2和CH4体积比为50:50的混合气体作为EOR产出气的模拟气,MDEA为主吸收剂,分别添加MEA、DEA、PZ和AMP作为活化剂,研究优选最佳的强化采油(EOR)产出气CO2回收MDEA复配溶液。通过饱和吸收量、平均吸收速率、平均再生速率、再生率以及反应热对比分析,得出各体系最佳配比分别为:32%MDEA+3%AMP、32%MDEA+3%PZ、30%MDEA+5%MEA、30%MDEA+5%DEA。对四种优选的配方体系的吸收性能和解吸性能进行综合分析,得出PZ对MDEA溶液的吸收和再生性能提升最大。32%MDEA+3%PZ复配溶液的CO2吸收量为0.868mol/mol,平均吸收速率为6.718×10^-3mol/min,平均再生速率为23.122×10^-3mol/min,溶液再生率为94.2%。 展开更多

川东北气田伴生CO_2注入川中油田EOR可行性分析——以普光气田伴生CO_2注入桂花油田为例 被引量:6

四川盆地普光气田CO2含量为8%~10%,每年高空燃烧排放的CO2量约为6.9×108 m3。为了实现低碳油气开发,挖掘资源潜力,建议将CO2气从天然气中分离后注入川中侏罗系油藏,以提高这些低渗透致密油藏的采收率。在分析了川中桂花油田的开... 四川盆地普光气田CO2含量为8%~10%,每年高空燃烧排放的CO2量约为6.9×108 m3。为了实现低碳油气开发,挖掘资源潜力,建议将CO2气从天然气中分离后注入川中侏罗系油藏,以提高这些低渗透致密油藏的采收率。在分析了川中桂花油田的开发历史后,绘制出桂花油田开采预测曲线,如采用大型压裂酸化、钻水平井、成像测井、三维地震储层预测技术,加上CO2混相驱油提高采收率等,预计桂花油田的年产油量将在2015年恢复到4×104 t,2020年达到7×104 t,2025年达到10×104 t。同时,经济分析的计算结果也支持这一建议,如把碳税和碳交易收入作为考虑因素,则该项目的可行性将更充分。随着川东北早三叠世—晚二叠世酸性大气田的陆续投产,比如同属于中国石油天然气股份公司的龙岗气田将有更多的CO2需要加以埋藏,届时亦可将莲池油田、金华镇油田、公山庙油田和中台山油田等纳入CO2混相驱油提高采收率试验区。 展开更多

目前筛选EOR技术方法的主要依据是行业标准《提高采收率方法筛选技术规范》,其核心思想是备选方法与应用对象的地质特征、流体性质的适应性、技术可行性、经济可行性评价。该规范实际应用中存在的问题是没有细化、缺少应有的定量计算。... 目前筛选EOR技术方法的主要依据是行业标准《提高采收率方法筛选技术规范》,其核心思想是备选方法与应用对象的地质特征、流体性质的适应性、技术可行性、经济可行性评价。该规范实际应用中存在的问题是没有细化、缺少应有的定量计算。为此研究提出一种确定EOR方法的综合评价新思路,关键是设定匹配程度、技术可操作程度、采收率提高幅度、期间增油量、吨驱油剂增油量、吨驱油剂成本、财务净现值、回收期8项综合评价指标以及安全环保程度、实施风险程度、吨油利润3项风险评估指标,确定各指标权重及选用综合评价方法。在方法运用上提出多指标、多方法综合评价与风险评价有机组合的新理念。综合评价方法计算程序化,简捷方便,经3个油藏实例评价说明该计算方法可行、可信。 展开更多

A physical simulation method with a combination of dynamic displacement and imbibition was established by integrating nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)and CT scanning.The microscopic production mechanism of tight/shale oil in pore throat by dynamic imbibition and the influencing factors on the development effect of dynamic imbibition were analyzed.The dynamic seepage process of fracking-soaking-backflow-production integration was simulated,which reveals the dynamic production characteristics at different development stages and their contribution to enhancing oil recovery(EOR).The seepage of tight/shale reservoirs can be divided into three stages:strong displacement and weak imbibition as oil produced rapidly by displacement from macropores and fractures,weak displacement and strong imbibition as oil produced slowly by reverse imbibition from small pores,and weak displacement and weak imbibition at dynamic equilibrium.The greater displacement pressure results in the higher displacement recovery and the lower imbibition recovery.However,if the displacement pressure is too high,the injected water is easy to break through the front and reduce the recovery degree.The higher the permeability,the greater the imbibition and displacement recovery,the shorter the time of imbibition balance,and the higher the final recovery.The fractures can effectively increase the imbibition contact area between matrix and water,reduce the oil-water seepage resistance,promote the oil-water displacement between matrix and fracture,and improve the oil displacement rate and recovery of the matrix.The soaking after fracturing is beneficial to the imbibition replacement and energy storage of the fluid;also,the effective use of the carrying of the backflow fluid and the displacement in the mining stage is the key to enhancing oil recovery. 展开更多

A seepage-geomechanical coupled embedded fracture flow model has been established for multi-field coupled simulation in tight oil reservoirs,revealing the patterns of change in pressure field,seepage field,and stress field after long-term water injection in tight oil reservoirs.Based on this,a technique for enhanced oil recovery(EOR)combining multi-field reconstruction and combination of displacement and imbibition in tight oil reservoirs has been proposed.The study shows that after long-term water flooding for tight oil development,the pressure diffusion range is limited,making it difficult to establish an effective displacement system.The variation in geostress exhibits diversity,with the change in horizontal minimum principal stress being greater than that in horizontal maximum principal stress,and the variation around the injection wells being more significant than that around the production wells.The deflection of geostress direction around injection wells is also large.The technology for EOR through multi-field reconstruction and combination of displacement and imbibition employs water injection wells converted to production and large-scale fracturing techniques to restructure the artificial fracture network system.Through a full lifecycle energy replenishment method of pre-fracturing energy supplementation,energy increase during fracturing,well soaking for energy storage,and combination of displacement and imbibition,it effectively addresses the issue of easy channeling of the injection medium and difficult energy replenishment after large-scale fracturing.By intensifying the imbibition effect through the coordination of multiple wells,it reconstructs the combined system of displacement and imbibition under a complex fracture network,transitioning from avoiding fractures to utilizing them,thereby improving microscopic sweep and oil displacement efficiencies.Field application in Block Yuan 284 of the Huaqing Oilfield in the Ordos Basin has demonstrated that this technology increases the recovery factor by 12 percentage points,enabling large scale and efficient development of tight oil. 展开更多

Optimal spacing for vertical wells can be effectively predicted with several published methods,but methods suitable for assessing the proper horizontal well spacing are rare.This work proposes a method for calculating the optimal horizontal well spacing for an ultra-low permeability reservoir e the Yongjin reservoir in the Juggar Basin,northwestern China.The result shows that a spacing of 640m is the most economical for the development of the reservoir.To better develop the reservoir,simulation approaches are used and a new model is built based on the calculated well spacing.Since the reservoir has an ultralow permeability,gas injection is regarded as the preferred enhanced oil recovery(EOR)method.Injection of different gases including carbon dioxide,methane,nitrogen and mixed gas are modelled.The results show that carbon dioxide injection is the most efficient and economical for the development of the reservoir.However,if the reservoir produces enough methane,reinjecting methane is even better than injecting carbon dioxide. 展开更多
