Based on the site analysis,functional orientations of this wetland park were determined by classifying it into wetland and dry land,to settle conflicts between wetland and park.Eco-design concepts was applied in the whole process of planning,this study focused on tourists' experiencing natural landscapes,cultural landscapes and site cultures,adopted vernacular buildings and local plants,employed permeable pavement materials instead of traditional pipes for rainwater management.Traditional gardening techniques were applied and natural laws were followed in the overall planning of this park;accessibility and security were attached sufficient importance in its traffic organization.In this way,the expected ecological,social and economic effects would be realized. 展开更多

Considering the construction of rural residence as a significant content of constructing the new socialist countryside,problems of present rural housing in energy conservation and comfort level are analyzed.To develop eco-residence in new countryside,improve living conditions of local residents,save energy and reduce carbon emission,responsive capability of natural organisms to climate is introduced into architectural design,and concept of responsive design is analyzed.In view of actual regional and climatic characteristics,it is proposed that responsive design is able to solve many problems of present rural housing,then responsive structures in traditional Chinese dwellings are introduced,such as removable window,latticed wooden ventilation door,courtyard with hinged cover,transom and so on.On this basis,a dwelling unit of row house on suburban plains of Zhengzhou City is taken for a living example of responsive design from the perspectives of flexible corridor and courtyard,controllable natural wind channel,application of plant's responsive characteristics,flexible close building and controllable cavity space,to build comfortable living environments. 展开更多

In this paper, systematic design and act of eco-security is discussed as a focal point of conflict and unrest. The situation of ecosystem, the schematic framework of eco-security design, the main acts of ecosystem improvement, major difficulties and challenges have also been analyzed. The purpose of this study was to formulate the systematic framework of eco-security maintenance, to highlight systematic idea or philosophy of ecological rehabilitation and eco-security. A three-dimensional schematic model is applied to design the security of ecosystem. It was concluded that: 1) maintaining ecological security requires far better and sophisticated resource management skill and ecological improvement measures, and is also a continuing and multifac-eted task. It cannot be permanently accomplished by a single action and program; 2) at present, technical system and policy and law system dimensions of ecological security are not enough even in short; 3) development of ecological industries is beneficial to local economic development and ecosystem protection. 展开更多

现有市面上的地刷设计,可分为无滚刷、单滚刷、多滚刷。无滚刷主要用于附件,或卧式吸尘器。单滚刷由于其结构简单,成本低,在地板及地毯均能做到较好的清洁能力,是目前的主流设计。多滚刷中双滚刷居多,例如Shark的Duo-cleaning设计,Dyson... 现有市面上的地刷设计,可分为无滚刷、单滚刷、多滚刷。无滚刷主要用于附件,或卧式吸尘器。单滚刷由于其结构简单,成本低,在地板及地毯均能做到较好的清洁能力,是目前的主流设计。多滚刷中双滚刷居多,例如Shark的Duo-cleaning设计,Dyson的Double Fluffy^(TM )cleaner head设计。无论是单滚刷还是多滚刷,大部分只能满足向前推动时的大颗粒灰尘或堆叠灰尘吸入。后拉时大颗粒灰尘容易堆叠。为了提高地刷吸入口的真空度,地刷吸口后侧设有密封结构,密封结构一般是绒毛条或帆布条、橡胶条等柔性材料,这些材料与地面有1 mm左右的过盈以增加密封。但是这种设计存在弊端,在地刷回拉时,由于地刷吸口后侧密封结构的阻挡,大的颗粒灰尘或堆叠的灰尘无法进入吸口,产生垃圾堆叠。为了满足地刷在前推和后拉时具有同样的吸尘效果,我们对后置密封结构就行优化设计。该文对可实现上述功能的设计进行研究,并从成本,新的欧盟能耗法规要去,清洁能力,使用受命等多方面对比,剖析不同设计的优缺点。 展开更多

With some modern communities in Suzhou as the example,this paper mainly expounded the application of the artistic techniques of landscapes in the planning of modern landscape-type eco-residential communities according to the classical livable and ecological theory in Yuan Ye(an ancient book of garden design in China).It was learnt that there were many inner links between the livable and ecological theory of classical Chinese gardens and the planning of modern eco-residential communities.Ecological community is a new-type inhabitation model which represents the future development direction of dwelling construction in China and the main type of ecological communities.Classical Suzhou-style gardens are the representation of gardens in southern Yangtze River as well as the classical livable environment in China.Both of the above two residential models emphasize the harmonious unification between human and nature as well as the sustainable development,and lay their cores on the livability and the harmony with the nature. 展开更多

The de-mand for more safe environmentally benign products is rising and many companies are looking for new ways to progressively improve the sus-tainability of their products. Moreover, there are numerous opportunities and countless innovations, technological as well as non-technologi-cal,that need to be exploited to improve the sustainability of products. Manufacturing industry is an important sector of any economy and hasthe potential to become a driving force for enabling sustainable patterns of production and consumption through introducing efficient productionpractices and developing products and services that help reduce environmental impacts. The benefits of adopting an integrated policy towardsproduct development based on life cycle thinking and eco-design to stimulate improvement of the environmental performance of each part ofproduct life cycle phases and achieve sustainable patterns of production and consumption are emphasized. The challenges in implementingsustainable manufacturing and the circular economy approaches are listed. A number of solutions are suggested to face up these challenges,for instance, increased awareness of enterprises particularly SME's of product life cycle issues and the opportunities that are available for costsavings and profit making from eco-innovation in product development for both the domestic and export markets and providing practical helpand advice directly to enterprises on integrated product development to promote enterprise led Eco-innovation. Aiming at contributing to sus-tainable manufacturing in China, Sino-UK Low Carbon Manufacturing Consortium, a multi-disciplinary research and educational partnershipbetween academia, industry and government agencies in the UK and China with interest in sustainable manufacturing issues, has been formedrecently.The vision, aims and benefits of membership of the consortium are also discussed. 展开更多

The authors of this paper propose a practical way to assess the environmental and financial costs of the performance of a real engineering activity for the case of a dwelling/building. This estimation is based on two indicators: Energy consumption during the Life Cycle of the building, EcLC and Equivalent Uniform Annual Cost, EUAC, related in various ways within the Building Life Cycle. The first indicator is determined by the Material Selection Method (CES Eco-Selector Software). While second indicator, EUAC, is determined by means of the Method of Life Cycle Cost. Consideration of these indicators from the conceptual phase of the object (dwelling), minimizes the costs of implementation and usage of the dwelling while respecting the principles of environment sustainable development. A dwelling as a product may have an environmental label, containing these two environmental and financial indicators, determined to take into account the entire life cycle. Results confirm the validity of some of the most innovative technologies currently applied in buildings and support our proposal on their energy label change. 展开更多
