If heat exchanger is added, heat energy that is reclaimed can be used by other heaters. On the basis of exchange hot water (51℃) 4m3 every minute, a factory with the productivity of powdery phospholipid being 10 ton a day can save 533.2 ton standard coal which is equivalent to 746.48 ton common coal. If this technique of saving energy and reducing emission could be widely used in correlative industries of all over the country, economic benefits will be prominent. 展开更多

Plasmonic metal electrodes with subwavelength nanostructures are promising for enhancing light harvesting in photovoltaics.However,the nonradiative damping of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs)during coupling with sunlight results in the conversion of the excited hot-electrons to heat,which limits the absorption of light and generation of photocurrent.Herein,an energy recycling strategy driven by hotelectron emission for recycling the SPP energy trapped in the plasmonic electrodes is proposed.A transparent silver-based plasmonic metal electrode(A-PME)with a periodic hexagonal nanopore array is constructed,which is combined with a luminescent organic emitter for radiative recombination of the injected hot-electrons.Owing to the suppressed SPP energy loss via broadband hot-electron emission,the A-PME achieves an optimized optical transmission with an average transmittance of over 80%from 380 to 1200 nm.Moreover,the indium-tin-oxide-free organic solar cells yield an enhanced light harvestingwith a power conversion efficiency of 16.1%. 展开更多

Transfemoral amputees(TAs)have difficulty in mobility during walking,such as restricted movement of lower extremity and body instability,yet few transfemoral prostheses have explored human-like multiple motion characteristics by simple structures to fit the kinesiology,biomechanics,and stability of human lower extremity.In this work,the configurations of transfemoral prosthetic mechanism are synthesized in terms of human lower-extremity kinesiology.A hybrid transfemoral prosthetic(HTP)mechanism with multigait functions is proposed to recover the gait functions of TAs.The kinematic and mechanical performances of the designed parallel mechanism are analyzed to verify their feasibility in transfemoral prosthetic mechanism.Inspired by motion-energy coupling relationship of the knee,a wearable energy-damper clutched device that can provide energy in knee stance flexion to facilitate the leg off from the ground and can impede the leg’s swing velocity for the next stance phase is proposed.Its co-operation with the springs in the prismatic pairs enables the prosthetic mechanism to have the energy recycling ability under the gait rhythm of the knee joint.Results demonstrate that the designed HTP mechanism can replace the motion functions of the knee and ankle to realize its multimode gait and effectively decrease the peak power of actuators from 94.74 to 137.05 W while maintaining a good mechanical adaptive stability. 展开更多

Recycling the energy in municipal refuse and controlling the secondary pollution are common concerns. After analyzing the status and disposal of the municipal refuse in China, this paper proposes a technique of refuse incineration, using a fluid-bed incinerator, which converts refuse into energy. The tech-nique of controlling secondary pollution in combustion is also discussed. In this paper, the technique of in-cineration using a fluid-bed incinerator is introduced. During the combustion process, the refuse is mixed with coal and remover and a noxious gas removal system is installed, which helps to decrease the genera-tion and emission of noxious material, such as dioxins. The result shows that the secondary pollution in re-fuse incineration is efficiently controlled. 展开更多

In an integrated iron and steel plant with a cogeneration system, recycled energy is continuously transported into the cogeneration system and the electricity is continuously generated, and both of them could not be stored for a long time. Moreover, thegeneration and consumption of electricity is irregular, which may bring about more unexpected imbalances. Therefore, it is a crucial issue to schedule the entire energy system by optimizing the operation of energy utilization, which includes the raw energy in the production system, the generation electricity in the cogeneration system and the recycled energy in these two systems. In this paper, an improved Linear Programming model for energy optimization in the integrated iron and steel plant with a cogeneration system is established. The improved model focuses on controlling the whole energy flow and scheduling the whole energy consumption in the entire energy system between the production system and cogeneration system through optimizing all kinds of energy distribution and utilization in an integrated iron and steel plant with a cogeneration system. Case study shows that the improved model offers the optimal operation conditions at the higher energy utilization, lower energy cost and lower pollution emissions. 展开更多
