A novel ohthalazinone modified epoxy acrylate resin for the high temperature resistant ultravioet (UV) curable coating.was syn-thesized.The methacrylated epoxy resins obtained were utilized to UV radiation curing by taking 2.5% (wt%) of photoinitiator in combination with 20% (wt%) of diluent, and generated the interpenetraring polymer networks. P(BA-GMA)(PBG), having various molecular weights, was synthesized by in situ polymerization of butyl acrylate(BA) and glycidyl methacrylate(GMA), and further used as a modifier to improve the comprehensive properties of the epoxy curing system. The copolymers were characterized by gel permeation chromatography(GPC). The effects of various molecular weights of copolymers on the mechanical properties, thermal performance, and phase behavior of the curing system were carefully evaluated. The experimental results of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) showed that glass transition temperature decreased and the tan δ peak shifted to a lower temperature with decreasing molecular weight of copolymer. Mechanical properties analysis of curing films showed that the impact strength and fracture toughness increased significantly upon the addition of PBG, indicating good toughness of the modified epoxy resins. From scanning electron microscopy(SEM) studies of the fracture surfaces of ER/PBG systems, the fracture behavior of epoxy matrix was changed from brittleness to toughness. 展开更多

为探究制备聚硅氧烷环氧丙烯酸酯(Polydimethylsiloxane epoxy acrylate,PESA)的最佳反应条件,以双端环氧改性聚硅氧烷(Poly(diphenylsiloxane)with two terminal epoxy bonds,EPDMS)、丙烯酸(Acrylate,AA)为主要原料,在催化剂作用下,通... 为探究制备聚硅氧烷环氧丙烯酸酯(Polydimethylsiloxane epoxy acrylate,PESA)的最佳反应条件,以双端环氧改性聚硅氧烷(Poly(diphenylsiloxane)with two terminal epoxy bonds,EPDMS)、丙烯酸(Acrylate,AA)为主要原料,在催化剂作用下,通过EPDMS与AA的酯化反应,制备了PESA.通过环氧值滴定法测定EPDMS中环氧基的转化率,探究了催化剂种类、反应温度、反应时间、催化剂用量和环氧基和AA的摩尔配比对EPDMS中环氧基转化率的影响;采用傅里叶红外光谱(Fourier transform infrared spectrum,FT-IR)和核磁共振氢谱(Nuclear magnetic resonance,1H-NMR)对加成产物的结构进行表征.结果表明,成功制备了PESA,其最佳反应条件为以四乙基溴化铵为催化剂,反应时间4 h、反应温度110℃、催化剂用量1.0%(以EPDMS质量计)和环氧基与AA摩尔配比1.04∶1.00,此时环氧基的转化率达到99.81%. 展开更多

The diversity of biomedical applications makes stereolithographic(SL)three-dimensional(3D)printing process complex.A strategy was developed to simulate the layer-by-layer fabrication of 3D printed products combining polymerization kinetic with reaction conditions to realize print preview.As a representative example,the typical UV-curable dental materials based on epoxy acrylate and photoinitiator with different molar ratios was exposed under varying intensity of UV light to verify the simulation results.A theoretical kinetics model containing oxygen inhibition was established.In-situ FTIR was employed to measure propagation and termination constants while coupled UV/vis was performed to examine the law of light attenuation during cure reaction,even with various colours and additives.Simulation results showed that the correlation coefficient square between the experiments and simulations of epoxy acrylate with 1%,2%and 3%initiator upon 20 mW/cm2 UV light are 0.8959,0.9324 and 0.9337,respectively.Consequently,our simulation of photopolymerization for SL 3D printing successfully realized visualization of printing quality before practically printing the targeted biomedical objects with complex topology structures. 展开更多
