目前1.5μm激光二极管(Laser Diode,LD)泵浦的铒镱共掺玻璃/晶体被动调Q微型激光器广泛应用于激光测距、激光雷达等领域。随着激光器输出重频的增加,玻璃面临突出的热效应问题,晶体的热导率是玻璃的10倍以上,有望能够实现比玻璃基质更... 目前1.5μm激光二极管(Laser Diode,LD)泵浦的铒镱共掺玻璃/晶体被动调Q微型激光器广泛应用于激光测距、激光雷达等领域。随着激光器输出重频的增加,玻璃面临突出的热效应问题,晶体的热导率是玻璃的10倍以上,有望能够实现比玻璃基质更高重频的激光输出。报道了一种通过LD脉冲端面泵浦Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+):Lu_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)晶体的百kHz人眼安全激光器。通过实验优化增益介质掺杂浓度和长度、泵浦光斑尺寸和调Q晶体初始透过率等实验参数,同时适当缩短脉宽,优化泵浦占空比,提高了输出重频的稳定性。最终获得了重频为100 kHz、单脉冲能量0.7μJ、脉冲宽度240 ns、光束质量M^(2)=1.61的1537 nm脉冲激光输出。实现了输出脉冲频率与泵浦的一致,保证了输出重频的稳定性,有效解决了输出重频具有随机性、不稳定、不可控等问题。 展开更多

In this paper, Er/Yb co-doped fiber amplifiers(EYDFAs) with an Yb-band fiber Bragg grating(FBG) at the pump end to improve the performance of the amplifier is systematically studied. The influence of the reflectivity and center wavelength of the FBG along with the gain-fiber length on the performance of an EYDFA are numerically analyzed. The results show that the wavelength of the FBG has critical influence on the efficiency of the EYDFA,whereas the requirement to its reflectivity is relaxed. It is an effective and promising way to improve the efficiency of a high-power pumped EYDFA by introducing a suitable Yb-band FBG at the pump end. Based on the analysis of the underlying principles, suggestions for the practical design and possible further improvement strategies are also proposed. 展开更多

目的:基于荧光猝灭或增强机制,构建稀土掺杂上转换纳米材料NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA直接对金属离子进行定量分析的方法,实现对金属离子快速、准确、灵敏检测。方法:通过溶剂热法制备出性能优良的稀土掺杂上转换纳米材料NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA,... 目的:基于荧光猝灭或增强机制,构建稀土掺杂上转换纳米材料NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA直接对金属离子进行定量分析的方法,实现对金属离子快速、准确、灵敏检测。方法:通过溶剂热法制备出性能优良的稀土掺杂上转换纳米材料NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA,并对其进行表征;通过测量14种常见的金属离子对NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA荧光强度的影响,筛选能够引起NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA荧光强度增强或下降,且与金属离子浓度呈线性关系的金属离子类型,进而建立检测新方法。结果:金属离子Mg^(2+)、Fe^(3+)分别在浓度范围为0~7.00μg/mL、0~6.00μg/mL与NaYF_(4):Yb,Er@TGA的荧光强度呈现良好的线性关系,其标准曲线方程的线性系数分别为0.9924、0.9982,检出限分别为1.79μg/mL、1.30μg/mL,加标回收率分别为95.5%~98.8%、92.5%~97.8%,方法相对标准偏差分别为4.05%、8.18%。结论:该方法检测限低、准确度较高、精密度较好,有望用于实际样品中Mg^(2+)、Fe^(3+)定量分析。 展开更多

获得具有良好热稳定性和发光性能的非接触式光学温度传感材料是目前的研究热点之一,本工作通过高温固相法制备了Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+)共掺CaGdAlO_(4)∶Er_(x),Yb_(0.10)(x=0.006、0.008、0.010、0.012、0.014)荧光粉,尺寸大小分布在0.6~4.2... 获得具有良好热稳定性和发光性能的非接触式光学温度传感材料是目前的研究热点之一,本工作通过高温固相法制备了Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+)共掺CaGdAlO_(4)∶Er_(x),Yb_(0.10)(x=0.006、0.008、0.010、0.012、0.014)荧光粉,尺寸大小分布在0.6~4.2μm。在980 nm激光激发下,该荧光粉在500~700 nm发射谱由两个发射带组成,528和550 nm处两个较强的绿光发射带,归属于Er^(3+)的^(2)H_(11/2)→^(4)I_(15/2)、^(4)S_(3/2)→^(4)I_(15/2)能级跃迁,663 nm处较弱的红光发射带,归属于Er^(3+)的^(4)F_(9/2)→^(4)I_(15/2)能级跃迁。上转换发光强度最大组分为CaGdAlO_(4)∶Er_(0.010),Yb_(0.10)。300~573 K变温发射谱表明,基于荧光强度比FIR_(528/550)参数,温度传感绝对灵敏度S_(A)从44.4×10^(-4) K^(-1)(@300 K)先增大到52.0×10^(-4) K^(-1)(@445 K)随后减小到49.0×10^(-4) K^(-1)(@573 K)。相对灵敏度S_(R)则从0.95×10^(-2) K^(-1)(@300 K)单调减小到0.27×10^(-2) K^(-1)(@573 K)。冷热循环实验表明该材料的热重复性优于98%。结果表明,CaGdAlO_(4)∶Er_(0.010),Yb_(0.10)荧光粉在光学温度传感领域具有潜在的应用前景。 展开更多

文章通过高温煅烧方法制备出Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)纳米粒子,通过XRD、TEM和元素面扫描对其特性进行研究。通过该方法成功制备出Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)纳米粒子,该纳米粒子具有较好的分散性,尺寸约为100 nm。在980 nm近红外... 文章通过高温煅烧方法制备出Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)纳米粒子,通过XRD、TEM和元素面扫描对其特性进行研究。通过该方法成功制备出Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)纳米粒子,该纳米粒子具有较好的分散性,尺寸约为100 nm。在980 nm近红外光的激发下,产生绿色和红色两个发光带。Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)在980 nm近红外光的激发下,可以有效地显现红色纸盒和绿色塑料卡片等带有颜色干扰的非渗透性客体表面的潜指纹,由于激发波长为近红外光,可以完全避免背景荧光的干扰,最大程度上显现指纹的一级和二级结构特征。此外,在与商品红色荧光粉末的比较研究中发现,在有荧光特性的渗透性客体表面的潜指纹显现中,Y_(2)O_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)纳米粒子具有优势,呈现出更加清晰的指纹轮廓和纹线,可以有效消除背景花纹的干扰,具有较高的灵敏度和选择性。 展开更多

Transparent Tm^3+/Er^3+/yb^3+ co-doped oxyfluorogermanate glass ceramics containing BaF2 nanocrystals are prepared. Under excitation of a 980-nm laser diode (LD), compared with the glass before heat treatment, the Tm^3+/Er^3+/yb^3+ co-doped oxyfluorogermanate glass ceramics can emit intense blue, green and red up-conversion luminescence and Stark- split peaks; X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) results show that BaF2 nanocrystals with an average diameter of 20 nm are precipitated from the glass matrix. Stark splitting of the up-conversion luminescence peaks in the glass ceramics indicates that Tm^3+, Er^3+ and (or) Yb^3+ ions are incorporated into the BaF2 nanocrystals. The up-conversion luminescence intensities of Tm^3+, Er^3+ and the splitting degree of luminescence peaks in the glass ceramics increase significantly with the increase of heat treat temperature and heat treat time extension. In addition, the possible energy transfer process between rare earth ions and the up-conversion luminescence mechanism are also proposed. 展开更多

The results show that there are comparatively abundant spectra of up-conversion emissions centered at 378, 408, 527 and 543, and 663 nm, corresponding to 4C9/2→ 6H13/2, 4C9/2→ 6Hll/2, 4115/2 → 6H13/2, and 4F9/2 →6Hll/2 transitions of Dy3+, respectively. Two-photon and three-photon processes are involved in ultraviolet, violet, green, and red up-conversion emissions. The energy transition between Yb3+ and Dy3+ is discussed. 展开更多

The glass sample based on the composition of 45PbF_2-45GeO_2-10WO_3 co-doped with Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+) was prepared by the fusion method in two steps: melted at 950 ℃ for 20~25 min then annealed at 380 ℃ for 4 h. The glass sample based on the composition of 45PbF_2-45GeO_2-10WO_3 co-doped with Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+) was prepared by the fusion method in two steps: melted at 950 ℃ for 20~25 min then annealed at 380 ℃ for 4 h. Through the V-prism it is found that the refractive index of host glass and the sample are 1.517 and 1.65 respectively. The transmittance was observed by using the ultraviolet-visible-infrared spectrometer in the wavelength range from 0.35 to 2.5μm. The transmittance of the host glass is beyond 73%. That of the sample is beyond 50% and there are characteristic absorption peaks of rare-earth ions. The emission spectrum was measured by using the Hitachi F-4500 fluorescent spectrometer pumped by 980 nm semiconductor laser. There are a strong emission peak at 530 nm and a weak peak at 650 nm. 展开更多

The results show that the sensitivity of this sample reaches its maximum value, about 0.0047 K^-1, when the temperature is 383 K, indicating that this kind of sample can be used as high temperature and high sensitivity optical temperature sensor. 展开更多

The (60 - x)Bi2O3 - xGeO2-30B2O3-10ZnO (x = 5, 10, 20, 30 molar percent) glasses doped with Er^3+ and Er^3+/Yb^3+ were fabricated using the melting method. The thermal stability of the glasses was studied with their DTA curves. The results show that the difference between the glass transition temperature and the crystallization onset temperature increases with the increase of GeO2 content, indicating that the thermal stability of the glass has become better. The absorption spectra were recorded and the stimulated emission cross sections were calculated using the McCumber theory. The Ω2, O4, and Ω6 parameters,the transition probability, the radiative lifetime, and the fluorescence branch ratio of Er^3+ for optical transition were calculated from their absorption spectra in terms of reduced matrix U^(t)(λ = 2, 4, 6) character for optical transitions. The infrared emission of Er^3+ was measured upon excitation with 970 nm light and the full width at half-maximum (FWHM) was estimated from the emission spectra. The pumping efficiency and the intensity of the emission at the 1.54 μm band of Er^3+ were enhanced considerably by co-doping Yb^3+ . 展开更多

The intense green upconversion luminescence upon excitation with a 976 nm laser diode is observed with the naked eyes. The dependence of luminescence intensity on the ratio of Yb^3+/Er^3+ is discussed in detail, and the relationship between the ratio of green luminescence intensity to red luminescence intensity and the ratio of Yb^3+/Er^3+ is also studied, The luminescence intensity increases with the ratio of Yb^3+/Er^3+ increasing. The ratio of Yb^3+/Er^3+ plays a more important role than the concentration of Er^3+ in determining the upconversion luminescence intensity. The ratio of green luminescence intensity to red luminescence intensity reaches a maximum when ratio of Yb^3+/Er^3+ is 3. Thus the glass could be one of the potential candidates for LD pumping solid-state lasers. 展开更多

After heat treatments, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed that CaF2 nano-crystals of 20-30 nm in diameter precipitated uniformly in the glass matrix. luminescence of Er^3+ at 540 nm and 658 nm was observed in Comparing with the host glass, high efficiency upconversion the glass ceramics under the excitation of 980 nm. Moreover, the size of the precipitated nano-crystals can be controlled by heat-treatment temperature and time. With the increase of the nano-crystal size, the intensity of the red emission increased more rapidly than that of the green emission. The energy transfer process of Er^3+ and Yb^3+ was convinced and the possible mechanism of Er^3+ up-conversion was discussed. 展开更多

Er3+/Yb3+co-doped phosphate are presented, laser glass materials with composition of P2O5-A12O3-Ba CO3-KNO3-Li2O-Zn O-Er2O3-Yb2O3(R-PABKLZ) are presented, in which an optimal molar ratio of 1:4 between Er3+ and Yb3+ was observed for achieving peak laser gain. Furthermore, due to adding 4.7 mol% Li1+ and 4.6 mol% Zn2+ ions into the glass, an optimum composition structure based laser material was demonstrated. On the other hand, since the high temperature melting method with changeable temperature control was used, the emission cross section of fl uorescence, excited lifetime, and an effective spectral half width reached 9.70 × 10-21 cm2, 8.20 ms, and 53.16 nm, respectively, so that a laser gain(semi× rad) of 103.05 was obtained, which is signifi cantly higher than previously reported results.
