This mechanism possesses the characteristics of two kinds of parallel mechanism. Based on its topologic structure, a coordinate system for position analysis is set-up and the forward kinematic solutions are analyzed. It was found that the parallel mechanism is partially decoupled. The relationship between original errors and position-stance error of moving platform is built according to the complete differential-coefficient theory. Then we present a special example with theory values and errors to evaluate the error model, and numerical error solutions are gained. The investigations concentrating on mechanism errors and actuator errors show that the mechanism errors have more influences on the position-stance of the moving platform. It is demonstrated that improving manufacturing and assembly techniques can greatly reduce the moving platform error. The small change in position-stance error in different kinematic positions proves that the error-compensation of software can improve considerably the precision of parallel mechanism.展开更多

And the maximum permissible component tolerances are established. In order to achieve the desired accuracy (defined by circular error probability), the types of appropriate sensors are chosen. The inertial measurement unit (IMU) is composed of those sensors. It is necessary to calibrate the sensors to obtain their error model coefficients of IMU. However, it is difficult to obtain the FLCs with desirable accuracy by experiments due to that the friction effects are non-negligible under warm/hot stamping conditions. To investigate the experimental errors, experiments for obtaining the FLCs of the AA5754 are conducted at 250℃. Then, FE models are created and validated on the basis of experimental results. A number of FE simulations are carried out for FLC test-pieces and punches with different geometry configurations and varying friction coefficients between the test-piece and the punch. The errors for all the test conditions are predicted and analyzed. Particular attention of error analysis is paid to two special cases, namely, the biaxial FLC test and the uniaxial FLC test. The failure location and the variation of the error with respect to the friction coefficient are studied as well. The results obtained from the FLC tests and the above analyses show that, for the biaxial tension state, the friction coefficient should be controlled within 0.15 to avoid significant shifting of the necking location away from the center of the punch; for the uniaxial tension state, the friction coefficient should be controlled within 0.1 to guarantee the validity of the data collected from FLC tests. The conclusions summarized are beneficial for obtaining accurate FLCs under warm/hot stamping conditions.展开更多

According to the characteristics of autocorrelation function (ACF) and partial autocorrelation function (PACF), an autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model is roughly constructed. The rough model is optimized by combining with Akaike's information criterion (A/C), and the parameters are estimated based on the least squares algorithm. After validation testing, the model is utilized to forecast the next output on the basis of the previous measurement. When the difference between the measurement and its prediction exceeds the defined threshold, the measurement is identified as a gross error and remedied by its prediction. A case study on the yaw rate is performed to illustrate the developed algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can effectively distinguish gross errors and make some reasonable remedies.展开更多

文摘This paper presents a novel approach to identify and correct the gross errors in the microelectromechanical system (MEMS) gyroscope used in ground vehicles by means of time series analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can effectively distinguish gross errors and make some reasonable remedies.
