My previous publications about the solution of the P vs. NP with the same result NP = EXPTIME, to be fully correct and understandable need the Lemma 4.1 and its proof of the current paper. The arguments of the current paper in order to prove NP = EXPTME are even simpler than in my previous publications. The strategy to solve the P vs. NP problem in the current paper (and in my previous publications) is by starting with an EXPTIME-complete language (problem) and proving that it has a re-formulation as an NP-class language, thus NP = EXPTIME. The main reason that the scientific community has missed so far such a simple proof, is because of two factors 1) It has been tried extensively but in vain to simplify the solutions of NP-complete problems from exponential time algorithms to polynomial time algorithms (which would be a good strategy only if P = NP) 2) It is believed that the complexity class NP is strictly a subclass to the complexity class EXPTIME (in spite the fact that any known solution to any of the NP-complete problems is not less than exponential). The simplicity of the current solution would have been missed if 2) was to be believed true. So far the majority of the relevant scientific community has considered this famous problem not yet solved. The present results definitely solve the 3rd Clay Millennium Problem about P versus NP in a simple, abstract and transparent way that the general scientific community, but also the experts of the area, can follow, understand and therefore become able to accept.展开更多

With the aid of a brand-new approach named “maximum-deleting method”, a fast algorithm is constructed for it with a polynomial time of biquadrate, which greatly reduces the computational complexity. Since this problem is also NP-complete, as a corollary, P = NP is proved to be true. It indicates the crack of the well-known open problem named “P versus NP”.展开更多

One common method is the Newton imbedding approach, i.e. the parameter extension method. In this article, we discuss approximate solutions to discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problems, which have various applications in mechanics and physics. We first formulate the discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert problem for elliptic systems of first order complex equations in multiply connected domains and its modified well-posedness, then use the parameter extensional method to find approximate solutions to the modified boundary value problem for elliptic complex systems of first order equations, and then provide the error estimate of approximate solutions for the discontinuous boundary value problem.展开更多

Focusing on their structures, a feature is noteworthy, i.e., the similarity in structures. The relations between the functions and behaviors of these systems and their similar structures will be studied. Owing to the management of social systems and the course of evolution of biotic systems may be regarded as control processes, the researches will be within the scope of control problems. Moreover, since it is difficult to model for biotic and social systems, it will start with the control problems of complex systems, possessing similar structures, in engineering. The obtained results show that for either linear or nonlinear systems and for a lot of control problems similar structures lead to a series of simplifications. In general, the original system may be decomposed into reduced amount of subsystems with lower dimensions and simpler structures. By virtue of such subsystems, the control problems of original system can be solved more simply. At last, it turns round to observe the biotic and social systems and some analyses are given.展开更多

First, the damping ...A new matrix perturbation analysis method is presented for efficient approximate solution of the complex modal quadratic generalized eigenvalue problem of viscously damped linear vibration systems. First, the damping matrix is decomposed into the sum of a proportional-and a nonproportional-damping parts, and the solutions of the real modal eigenproblem with the proportional dampings are determined, which are a set of initial approximate solutions of the complex modal eigenproblem. Second, by taking the nonproportional-damping part as a small modification to the proportional one and using the matrix perturbation analysis method, a set of approximate solutions of the complex modal eigenvalue problem can be obtained analytically. The result is quite simple. The new method is applicable to the systems with viscous dampings-which do not deviate far away from the proportional-damping case. It is particularly important that the solution technique be also effective to the systems with heavy, but not over, dampings. The solution formulas of complex modal eigenvlaues and eigenvectors are derived up to second-order perturbation terms. The effectiveness of the perturbation algorithm is illustrated by an exemplar numerical problem with heavy dampings. In addition, the practicability of approximately estimating the complex modal eigenvalues, under the proportional-damping hypothesis, of damped vibration systems is discussed by several numerical examples.展开更多

文摘In the theory of computational complexity, the travelling salesman problem is a typical one in the NP class. With the aid of a brand-new approach named “maximum-deleting method”, a fast algorithm is constructed for it with a polynomial time of biquadrate, which greatly reduces the computational complexity. Since this problem is also NP-complete, as a corollary, P = NP is proved to be true. It indicates the crack of the well-known open problem named “P versus NP”.
文摘Several approximate methods have been used to find approximate solutions of elliptic systems of first order equations. One common method is the Newton imbedding approach, i.e. the parameter extension method. In this article, we discuss approximate solutions to discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problems, which have various applications in mechanics and physics. We first formulate the discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert problem for elliptic systems of first order complex equations in multiply connected domains and its modified well-posedness, then use the parameter extensional method to find approximate solutions to the modified boundary value problem for elliptic complex systems of first order equations, and then provide the error estimate of approximate solutions for the discontinuous boundary value problem.
文摘In this paper, the naturally evolving complex systems, such as biotic and social ones, are considered. At last, it turns round to observe the biotic and social systems and some analyses are given.
文摘A new matrix perturbation analysis method is presented for efficient approximate solution of the complex modal quadratic generalized eigenvalue problem of viscously damped linear vibration systems. In addition, the practicability of approximately estimating the complex modal eigenvalues, under the proportional-damping hypothesis, of damped vibration systems is discussed by several numerical examples.
文摘In this paper, the problem of the periodic welding of an anisotropic elastic half_plane and a strip with different materials is studied. By means of the complex variable method for plane elasticity and the theory of boundary value problems for analytic function, the stress distribution is given in closed forms.
文摘In this article,we discuss that an oblique derivative boundary value problem for nonlinear uniformly elliptic complex equation of second order with the boundary conditions in a multiply connected unbounded domain D.The above boundary value problem will be called Problem P.Under certain conditions,by using the priori estimates of solutions and Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem,we can obtain some results of the solvability for the above boundary value problem(0.1) and(0.2).
