The effect of heat treatment on the transformation temperature of Ti?52.2%Ni (mole fraction) alloy was studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The transformation temperatures of the alloy can be adjusted effectively by heat treatment. Dense and stable SiO2 coatings were deposited on the surface of the pre-oxidized TiNi alloy by sol?gel method. The bonding strength of films and matrix was (65.9±1.5) N. The electrochemical corrosion test shows that the TiNi alloy with SiO2 coating has excellent corrosion resistance in the Hank’s simulated body fluid. The release behaviors of Ni ion of the alloy with and without SiO2 coating implanted in the acoustic vesicle of guinea pig were studied by EDS testing, which was inhibited effectively by the dense and stable SiO2 coating on the alloy. 展开更多

The critical driving force for martensitic transformation fcc ( gamma ) yields hcp ( epsilon ) in ternary Fe-Mn-Si alloys increases with the content of Mn and decreases with that of Si. Thermodynamical prediction of M//s in ternary Fe-Mn-Si alloys was established. The fcc ( gamma ) yields hcp ( epsilon ) martensitic transformation in Fe-Mn-Si is a semi-thermoelastic and the nucleation process does not strongly depend on soft mode. Nucleation occurs directly through an overlapping of stacking fault rather than pole mechanism, and it is suggested that stacking fault energy (SFE) is the main factor controlling nucleation. Based on the phenomenological theory of martensite crystallography, a shuffle on (0001)//h//c//p plane is required when d//1//1//1 does not equal d//0//0//0//2. The derived principal strain in Bain distortion is smaller, i, e., more reasonable than the values given by Christian. Alloying elements strengthening the austenite, lowering SFE of gamma phase and reducing T//N** gamma temperature may be beneficial to shape memory effect of Fe-Mn-Si based alloys. Accordingly, Fe-Mn-Si-RE and Fe-Mn-Si-Cr-N (or Fe-Mn-Si-Ni-Cr-N) are worthy to be recommended as shape memory materials with improved shape memory effect. (Edited author abstract) 48 Refs. 展开更多

The influence of different surface coatings of NiTi shape memory allays was examined using in vitro testing methods. Plates of superelastic nickel-titanium shape memory allay ( NiTi ) were coated with calcium phosphates ( hydroxyapatite ) by high-temperature plasma-spraying or by dip-coating. The biocompatibility was tested in vitro by cultivation of isolated human granulocytes and whole blood cells. As substrates, pure NiTi, plasma-spray-coated NiTi and dip-coated NiTi were used. Isolated granulocytes showed an increased adhesion to both calcium phosphate-coated NiTi samples. Compared to non-coated NiTi or dip-coated NiTi, the number of dead granulocytes adherent to plasma-sprayed surfaces was significantly increased ( p 〈 0.01 ). Whether the d/f- ferences in apoptosis of granulocytes on dip-coated vs plasma-sprayed coatings observed are due to differences in material surface morphologies has to be analyzed in further studies. Because of the cellular interactions with the coating layers, h is likely that the results obtained are not caused by the underlying NiTi but due to the coating itself. 展开更多

Laser surface alloying technique was applied to fabricate a metallic porous coating on a solid NiTi shape memory alloy. By laser surface alloying a 40%TiH2-60%NiTi powder mixture on the surface of NiTi alloy using optimized laser process parameters, a porous but crack-free NiTi layer can be fabricated on the NiTi substrate. The porous coating is metallurgically bonded to the substrate NiTi alloy. The pores are uniformly distributed and are interconnected with each other in the coating. An average pore size of less than 10 μm is achieved. The Ni content of the porous layer is much less than that of the original NiTi surface. The existence of the porous coating on the NiTi alloy causes a 37% reduction of the tensile strength and 55% reduction of the strain as compared with the NiTi alloy. Possible biomedical or other applications for this porous surface with good mechanical strength provided by the substrate are prospective. 展开更多

La_(2)O_(3)掺杂铁基记忆合金涂层组织与性能研究

为了探究La_(2)O_(3)对激光熔覆形状记忆合金涂层组织和性能的影响,采用宽带激光熔覆技术在42CrMo中碳钢表面制备了掺杂La_(2)O_(3)的Fe17Mn5Si10Cr5Ni形状记忆合金复合涂层,通过表征得到了La_(2)O_(3)对复合涂层的显微组织、维氏硬度... 为了探究La_(2)O_(3)对激光熔覆形状记忆合金涂层组织和性能的影响,采用宽带激光熔覆技术在42CrMo中碳钢表面制备了掺杂La_(2)O_(3)的Fe17Mn5Si10Cr5Ni形状记忆合金复合涂层,通过表征得到了La_(2)O_(3)对复合涂层的显微组织、维氏硬度、耐磨性、耐蚀性和表面残余应力的影响结果。结果表明,La_(2)O_(3)显著降低了晶粒尺寸,掺杂质量分数w=0.009时,晶粒尺寸达到最小值3.03μm,而复合涂层具有最大硬度454.7 HV 0.2,磨损量最低;并得到最低的自腐蚀电流为4.287×10^(-7)A/cm^(2),最高的自腐蚀电位为-0.843 V,涂层保护率达到94.83%,La_(2)O_(3)明显提高了涂层的耐腐蚀性能;此时涂层的残余应力由拉应力转变为压应力,并在Fe-Mn-Si/La_(2)O_(3)产生的最大残余压应力值为-378 MPa。此项研究为低应力高性能激光熔覆涂层的开发和推广提供了实践参考。 展开更多

In the past studies, it has been discovered that the shape memory effect(SME) in the Fe-Mn-Si shape memory alloy(Fe-SMA)can gradually be enhanced by a pre-process called as shape memory training process under cyclic thermo-mechanical loading.On the other hand, it has been shown that the SME of Fe-SMA can also be affected by changing the strain rate. Therefore, it is possible to improve the SME by combining the strain rate sensitivity and shape memory training process. However, the improvement of SME caused by the training process under impact condition is still unclear. For the training process under impact condition, it is difficult to interrupt the test at the desired strain level due to many reflections of stress waves, which reload the specimen from the free ends. In this paper, to obtain reliable experimental results of SME after the training process under impact condition, the stress waves after first loading are eliminated by the double momentum-trap structure introduced into the impact tensile testing apparatus based on the split Hopkinson pressure bar method. In order to achieve an optimum design of the structure used in experiments, the finite element simulation of the structure is performed. Then, tensile tests in the training process of Fe-28Mn-6Si-5Cr alloy at different strain rates including the impact level are conducted and temperature change of the specimen is measured during training and heating process. As a result, the improvement of SME in the alloy after the training process under quasi-static and impact loading is compared with that under quasi-static loading through verification processes. 展开更多

目的在模拟体液环境中,研究钽(tantalum,Ta)涂层对生物医用镍钛形状记忆合金(NiTi shape memory alloy,NiTi SMA)抗腐蚀性能的影响。方法对镍钛形状记忆合金试样,运用等离子喷涂技术在其表面形成一层400μm厚的钽涂层。通过模拟体液环... 目的在模拟体液环境中,研究钽(tantalum,Ta)涂层对生物医用镍钛形状记忆合金(NiTi shape memory alloy,NiTi SMA)抗腐蚀性能的影响。方法对镍钛形状记忆合金试样,运用等离子喷涂技术在其表面形成一层400μm厚的钽涂层。通过模拟体液环境下电化学测量法对比涂层前后的试样抗腐蚀性能的强弱,测量钽涂层与镍钛形状记忆合金基体之间是否存在电偶腐蚀。结果阳极极化曲线显示,经钽涂层处理后的镍钛形状记忆合金表现出维钝电流密度降低,极化电阻变大,自腐蚀电位及破钝化电位升高;电偶电流-时间曲线显示,钽涂层与镍钛合金基体之间的电偶电流密度值极小。结论镍钛形状记忆合金表面涂覆钽涂层的表面改性处理,能有效提高基体金属的抗腐蚀性能,且涂层与基体金属之间没有电偶腐蚀发生。 展开更多

目的 研究类金刚石(diamond—like carbon,DLC)镀膜形状记忆合金对体外培养的成骨细胞生物学行为的影响。方法 选择规格相同的DLC镀膜镍钛(NiTi)记忆合金(镀膜组)、非镀膜记忆合金(非镀膜组)各30片与体外培养的成骨细胞混合培... 目的 研究类金刚石(diamond—like carbon,DLC)镀膜形状记忆合金对体外培养的成骨细胞生物学行为的影响。方法 选择规格相同的DLC镀膜镍钛(NiTi)记忆合金(镀膜组)、非镀膜记忆合金(非镀膜组)各30片与体外培养的成骨细胞混合培养,并设立空白对照组(不加材料的单纯细胞培养组),观察细胞的增殖情况。收集第1~5天的细胞培养液,测定其中的碱性磷酸酶(alkaline phosphatase,ALP)、Ni^2+含量及成骨细胞计数。结果 镀膜组和对照组细胞计数及ALP浓度均高于非镀膜组;细胞计数,第3、4及5天,镀膜组及对照组与非镀膜组比较,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05);ALP浓度,镀膜组第2、3及5天,对照组第3、4及5天,与非镀膜组比较,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。Ni^2+含量低于非镀膜组,第3、4及5天与非镀膜组比较,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。结论 DLC镀膜形状记忆合金的组织相容性明显优于非镀膜组。 展开更多

采用连续高功率固体NdYAG激光辐照,使预置于NiTi合金表面的Ti粉在N2环境中形成TiN增强Ti基复合材料涂层。选择适当的激光辐照工艺参数,获得致密的TiN增强金属基复合材料激光改性层。SEM观察及EDAX成分分析结果表明,TiN/Ti金属基复合材... 采用连续高功率固体NdYAG激光辐照,使预置于NiTi合金表面的Ti粉在N2环境中形成TiN增强Ti基复合材料涂层。选择适当的激光辐照工艺参数,获得致密的TiN增强金属基复合材料激光改性层。SEM观察及EDAX成分分析结果表明,TiN/Ti金属基复合材料表面改性层与基体NiTi合金存在良好的冶金结合,界面处成分均匀过渡,表面Ni含量极低。显微硬度测试及磨损实验表明,TiN/Ti金属基复合材料改性层显著提高了NiTi合金的表面硬度和耐磨性,激光表面改性层可有效地改善NiTi合金作为生物医学材料使用的表面成分和性能。 展开更多
