Landscape architecture and environment improvement of coal enterprises

The coal enterprise＇s spoiled environment situation was analyzed in this paper. The coal enterprises＇environment conditions must be improved under the trend of sustainable development and economic globalization. And it is important for using landscape architecture techniques to improve coal enterprises＇ environmental conditions. Four principles should be followed to improve the coal enterprises＇ environment by landscape architect were pointed out.

Architecture of HLA Based Distributed Virtual Geographic Environment

Integrating the theory of distributed virtual geographic environment (DVGE) and high level architecture(HLA), the architecture of DVGE based on HLA is designed. The data flow and the object models of the architecture are also discussed. The architecture basically meets the need of DVGE in real-time communication, distribution, collaboration, reusing and interoperation, expansion, and standard.

The ARQUIGRAFIA project: A Web Collaborative for Review Only Environment for Architecture and Urban Heritage Image

Purpose:This paper presents the ARQUIGRAFIA project,an open,public and nonprofit,continuous growth web collaborative environment dedicated to Brazilian architectural photographic images.Design/methodology/approach:The ARQUIGRAFIA project promotes the active and collaborative participation among its institutional users(GLAMs,NGOs,laboratories and research groups)and private users(students,professionals,professors,researchers),both can create an account and share their digitized iconographic collections in the same Web environment by uploading their files,indexing,georeferencing and assigning a Creative Commons license.Findings:The development of users interactions by means of semantic differentials impressions recording on visible plastic-spatial aspects of the architectures in synthetic infographics,as well as by the retrieval of images through an advanced system search based on those impressions parameters.By gamification means,the system often invites users to review images’in order to improve images’data accuracy.The pilot project named Open Air Museum that allows users to add audio descriptions to images in situ.An interface for users’digital curatorship will be soon available.Research limitations:The ARQUIGRAFIA’s multidisciplinary team gathering professorsresearchers,graduate and undergraduate students from the Architecture and Urbanism,Design,Information Science,Computer Science faculties of the University of S?o Paulo,demands continuous financial resources for grants,for contracting third party services,for the participation in scientific events in Brazil and abroad,and for equipment.Since 2016,significant budget cuts in the University of S?o Paulo own research funds and in Brazilian federal scientific agencies can compromise the continuity of this project.Practical implications:The open source template called+GRAFIA that can freely help other areas of knowledge to build their own visual Web collaborative environments.Originality/value:The collaborative nature of the ARQUIGRAFIA distinguishes it from institutional image databases on the internet,precisely because it involves a heterogeneous network of collaborators.

Research on the Integral Practical and Aesthetic Design Teaching of Architecture and Site Environment -Taking Kindergarten Architecture and Site Logic Model Teaching Approach as an Example

The integral practical and aesthetic design teaching of architecture and site environment is expected to deal with the junior-grade design teaching in architecture major with a current situation that the insufficient consideration of the site environment and the chaotic city image, which caused by long-term emphasis on single function and personality performance of architecture. The key to the integral practicability and aesthetics is the emphasis on the integrality of spatial logical order of those two factors, which contains the integral harmony of function attributes, scale, logics, and modal relationships and so on. Combine with the teaching of kindergarten architecture design, using architecture and site logic model teaching methodology, through the extraction cognitive teaching approach of the site environment order logics, the cognitive teaching approach of kindergarten architecture spatial logics, the strategic teaching approach of the congruent design of the integral order of architecture and site environment logics, module and model congruent counterpoint design teaching approach of architecture and large site environment order logics, organization and construction integrated design teaching approach of architecture and small site environment spatial logics, and result design teaching approach of architectures integrated into the landscape of large site environment and their surrounding small site environment and other teaching procedures to complete die teaching tasks of the integral practical and aesthetic design of kindergarten architecture and site environment.

Design Strategies of Healing Environment in Dongheyan Area from the Perspective of Health

In the new urban construction,the concept of healing environment is helpful to promote the physical and mental health of the urban public.By combing the relevant theories of health and environment,such as stress relief theory,attention recovery theory,biophilia design,evidence-based design,etc.and using field research methods,the functional layout,slow walking environment,public space,healing environment and healing architecture of Dongheyan area were analyzed,and the design strategies of healing environment were put forward for the slow walking environment and public space in Dongheyan area based on all aspects of problems and attributes of the area.

Research and design on a kind of CASE environment architectural style based on ToolBus

Because CASE (computer aided software engineering) environment is a kind of complex system software, its software architecture is very important. From the viewpoint of software architecture, this paper first presents TBus architectural style, which is a kind of CASE environment architectural style based on ToolBus, then describes the architectural model and system's behavior in formal method, researches and analyzes the corresponding tool structural model. Last the paper implements a TBus architectural instance-LambdaBridge, which proves the validity of ToolBus and TBus architectural styles.

A human－ecology approach to environmental design──An integrative human－ecology design derived from Chinese agricultural cultur eexperiences

Based on fundamental principles of ecology ,the ecological philosophy connotation of Feng-Shui(Wind and Water) concept from experiences of Chinese agricultural culture was first discussed , and then hu-man-ecological implications of Feng-Shui environment architecture is analyzed. As a theoretical integrationbetween human ecology and Feng-Shui theory ,“environment” and “environmental design” concepts were re-examined and given new definitions. With holistic principles of human ecological design in the context ofFeng-Shui , essential technical ways of integrative human ecological design were explored in the presentationof a case study of an urban environmental design in east China.

Mapping epistasis and environment × QTX interaction based on four-omics genotypes for the detected QTX loci controlling complex traits in tobacco

Using newly developed methods and software, association mapping was conducted for chromium content and total sugar in tobacco leaf, based on four-omics datasets. Our objective was to collect data on genotype and phenotype for 60 leaf samples at four developmental stages, from three plant architectural positions and for three cultivars that were grown in two locations. Association mapping was conducted to detect genetic variants at quantitative trait SNP(QTS) loci, quantitative trait transcript(QTT) differences,quantitative trait protein(QTP) variability, and quantitative trait metabolite(QTM) changes,which can be summarized as QTX locus variation. The total heritabilities of the four-omics loci for both traits tested were 23.60% for epistasis and 15.26% for treatment interaction.Epistasis and environment × treatment interaction had important impacts on complex traits at all-omics levels. For decreasing chromium content and increasing total sugar in tobacco leaf, six methylated loci can be directly used for marker-assisted selection, and expression of ten QTTs, seven QTPs and six QTMs can be modified by selection or cultivation.

Research on Landscape System of Traditional Living Environment in Jingzhou

With the aid of the research method of land landscape,on the basis of briefly analyzing the construction process of regional traditional living environment in Jingzhou,a hierarchical analysis of the regional landscape system was carried out from the aspects of natural landscape,water conservancy construction,agricultural production and urban construction,and the overall pattern of traditional living environment landscape system in Jingzhou was summarized to provide new ideas for the exploration of landscape system.In view of the many problems in the current urban development of Jingzhou,the enlightenment of traditional human settlement experience and wisdom in Jingzhou to the current urban construction of Jingzhou was summarized to provide an example reference for building a living environment that integrates mountains,water and a city.

Understanding the Traditional Saudi Built Environment: The Phenomenon of Dynamic Core Concept and Forms

This study examines the traditional Saudi built environment and culture to uncover its rich architecture and to propose a new way of thinking about how to comprehend and value the past while also rebalancing the Kingdom’s future architectural identity. In that sense, the primary objective of this study is to examine the Core Concepts and Forms of traditional architecture, as well as their cultural connotations, in three regions of Saudi Arabia: the central, eastern, and western regions. Non-participant observation, ethnographic, and descriptive approaches were used in the study, which was based on a multi-dimensional comparative observational model. It was determined that the traditional Saudi built environment relied on forty Core Concepts and Forms that were divided into four categories: constant, semi-constant, semi-flexible, and flexible core forms to regulate the production process and maintain its continuity over centuries.

Comparison of Illuminance in Different Environments: A Case Study on Subway Stations

With urbanization and the rapid development of social economy,China’s rail transit industry has developed rapidly in recent years.In order to alleviate the pressure of road network,subways provide convenience as they are fast and space-saving.Subway stations are major energy consumers of urban power grid due to their large traffic volume and long operation time.On the premise of ensuring operation safety,reducing the energy consumption of subway helps in energy conservation and emission reduction as proposed in the 13th Five-Year Plan.According to the statistics of the energy-saving evaluation report of rail transit engineering,the lighting system accounts for 20%-30%of the total power consumption of the subway station.Due to the single lighting control mode of the lighting system in the subway station,the actual station illumination cannot be reported and adjusted in time,resulting in the waste of lighting energy and high power consumption of the system.Through in-depth research on the intelligent lighting system of subway station,this paper improves the system control,and finally summarizes the optimization scheme of subway station lighting design which can effectively save the power consumption of lighting system.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The research results of this paper can provide effective measures for energy saving of electric lighting in subway stations and reduce electric energy consumption;on the other hand,as an integral part of building lighting energy-saving system,it also has certain guiding significance for the research of building lighting energy-saving.

气候变化背景下热风险感知与住区居民体力活动的关系研究

【目的】气候变化背景下,体力活动不仅受到客观建成环境与真实热风险影响,也受到主观心理感知影响。分析住区居民的热风险感知(heat risk perception,HRP)与体力活动的关系,为应对气候变化健康风险的城市规划研究与实践提供实证基础。【方法】以哈尔滨市为例,采用问卷调查和分层回归的方法,揭示了“恐惧”“态度”和“适应”3个维度上的HRP水平与体力活动水平分别在不同局地气候分区(local climate zone,LCZ)类型的住区中的差异以及二者间的关系。【结果】HRP与体力活动相关,其中恐惧和态度感知减少了体力活动,适应则增加了体力活动;HRP能够显著提高住区建成环境与体力活动模型的准确性,开放型中层住区居民具有最低的恐惧和态度感知水平,以及最高的适应感知水平和体力活动水平。【结论】从风险感知视角揭示了气候变化和建成环境对居民健康的间接影响,为城市气候安全治理和健康城市规划提供参考。

基于科教融合的行为舒适型微型建筑空间设计研究

高密度城市中的微型居住空间能够在一定程度上解决中低收入人口或流动人口的居住问题。但狭小的空间会造成居住者在行动方面的困难。这种困难即行为上的不舒适问题,可能会导致久坐、久躺等不良生活方式的形成,进而影响居住者的身体健康。因此,本文以科教融合的方式进行研究,依据人体生理行为上的特点,提出一种能够提升身体活动舒适性的微型居住空间设计方法,进而促进居室空间形态的个性化生成和学生建筑设计能力的培养。

从福建乡土民居到海外华侨聚落——华侨大学民居聚落研究综述

福建地处东南沿海,其山海环境造就了类型多样的传统民居与聚落。华侨大学建筑学院以方拥、关瑞明为先驱的学者们薪火相传,在民居聚落研究领域积淀了丰厚的学术成果,并持续拓展研究领域。文章通过梳理华侨大学建筑学院在福建民居聚落研究领域40年的发展历程,从民居类型的调查测绘、聚落人居环境、营造技艺整理等研究方向进行了深入的回顾和评述,并从中华文化的海外传播视角展望了海内外华侨民居聚落合作研究的必要性。
