AIM:To explore the method for early diagnosis of gastric cancer by screening the expression spectrum of saliva protein in gastric cancer patients using mass spectrometry for proteomics.METHODS:Proportional peptide mas...AIM:To explore the method for early diagnosis of gastric cancer by screening the expression spectrum of saliva protein in gastric cancer patients using mass spectrometry for proteomics.METHODS:Proportional peptide mass fingerprints were obtained by analysis based on proteomics matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight/mass spectrometry.A diagnosis model was established using weak cation exchange magnetic beads to test saliva specimens from gastric cancer patients and healthy subjects.RESULTS:Significant differences were observed in the mass to charge ratio(m/z) peaks of four proteins(1472.78 Da,2936.49 Da,6556.81 Da and 7081.17 Da) between gastric cancer patients and healthy subjects.CONCLUSION:The finger print mass spectrum of saliva protein in patients with gastric cancer can be established using gastric cancer proteomics.A diagnostic model for distinguishing protein expression mass spectra of gastric cancer from non-gastric-cancer saliva can be established according to the different expression of proteins 1472.78 Da,2936.49 Da,6556.81 Da and 7081.17 Da.The method for early diagnosis of gastric cancer is of certain value for screening special biological markers.展开更多
Currently, Granger-Geweke causality models have been widely applied to investigate the dynamic direction relationships among brain regions. In a previous study, we have found that the right hand finger-tapping task ca...Currently, Granger-Geweke causality models have been widely applied to investigate the dynamic direction relationships among brain regions. In a previous study, we have found that the right hand finger-tapping task can produce relatively reliable brain response. As an extension of our previous study, we developed an algorithm based on the classical Granger- Geweke causality model to further investigate the effective connectivity of three brain regions (left primary motor cortex (M1), supplementary motor area (SMA) and right cerebellum) that showed the most robust brain activations. Our computational results not only confirm the strong linear feedback among SMA, M1 and right cerebellum, but also demonstrate that M1 is the hub of these three regions indicated by the anatomy research. Moreover, the model predicts the high intermediate node density existing in the area between SMA and M1, which will stimulate the imaging experimentalists to carry out new experiments to validate this postulation.展开更多

A new unified formulation from dynamic equations of cooperat...We present a mathematical method for acceleration workspace analysis of cooperating multi-finger robot systems using a model of point-contact with friction. A new unified formulation from dynamic equations of cooperating multi-finger robots is derived considering the force and acceleration relationships between the fingers and the object to be handled. From the dynamic equation, maximum translational and rotational acceleration bounds of an object are calculated under given constraints of contact conditions, configurations of fingers, and bounds on the torques of joint actuators for each finger. Here, the rotational acceleration bounds can be applied as an important manipulability index when the multi-finger robot grasps an object. To verify the proposed method, we used a set of case studies with a simple multi-finger mechanism system. The achievable acceleration boundary in task space can be obtained successfully with the proposed method and the acceleration boundary depends on the configurations of fingers.展开更多
目的探讨指状式冰敷模型在吻合器痔上黏膜环切术(procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids,PPH)术中及术后的应用效果。方法便利抽样选择2017年1-6月山东省聊城市人民医院肛肠科收治的混合痔患者107例为研究对象。按入院先后分为观察组(...目的探讨指状式冰敷模型在吻合器痔上黏膜环切术(procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids,PPH)术中及术后的应用效果。方法便利抽样选择2017年1-6月山东省聊城市人民医院肛肠科收治的混合痔患者107例为研究对象。按入院先后分为观察组(n=52)与对照组(n=55)。对照组给予常规术后护理,观察组采用自制指状冰敷模型于术中、术后早期应用于PPH手术患者。比较两组患者术后切口疼痛、水肿、出血及尿潴留发生情况。结果观察组术后6h、术后首次排尿疼痛程度均明显低于对照组;术后8h,观察组轻度肛门水肿占38.46%、中度水肿44.23%,对照组轻度肛门水肿占20.0%、中度水肿45.45%;术后24h,观察组术后出血3例(5.77%),对照组术后出血15例(27.27%);术后12h,观察组发生尿潴留2例(3.85%),对照组发生尿潴留13例(26.0%)。上述指标组间比较,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论指状式冰敷模型可以减轻PPH患者术后疼痛、水肿及出血,有效预防尿潴留。展开更多
