In-situ measurement via the flow-through method and numerical simulations for radon exhalation during measurements of the radon exhalation rate

Small-scale measurements of the radon exhalation rate using the flow-through and closed-loop methods were conducted on the surface of a uranium tailing pond to better understand the differences between the two methods.An abnormal radon exhalation behavior was observed,leading to computational fluid dynamics(CFD)-based simulations in which dynamic radon migration in a porous medium and accumulation chamber was considered.Based on the in-situ experimental and numerical simulation results,variations in the radon exhalation rate subject to permeability,flow rate,and insertion depth were quantified and analyzed.The in-situ radon exhalation rates measured using the flow-through method were higher than those measured using the closed-loop method,which could be explained by the negative pressure difference between the inside and outside of the chamber during the measurements.The consistency of the variations in the radon exhalation rate between the experiments and simulations suggests the reliability of CFD-based techniques in obtaining the dynamic evolution of transient radon exhalation rates for diffusion and convection at the porous medium-air interface.The synergistic effects of the three factors(insertion depth,flow rate,and permeability)on the negative pressure difference and measured exhalation rate were quantified,and multivariate regression models were established,with positive correlations in most cases;the exhalation rate decreased with increasing insertion depth at a permeability of 1×10^(−11) m^(2).CFD-based simulations can provide theoretical guidance for improving the flow-through method and thus achieve accurate measurements. 展开更多

Realizing fast and continuous generation of reactive oxygen species(ROSs)via iron-based advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)is significant in the environmental and biological fields.However,current AOPs assisted by co-catalysts still suffer from the poor mass/electron transfer and non-durable promotion effect,giving rise to the sluggish Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+)cycle and low dynamic concentration of Fe^(2+)for ROS production.Herein,we present a three-dimensional(3D)macroscale co-catalyst functionalized with molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))to achieve ultra-efficient Fe^(2+)regeneration(equilibrium Fe^(2+)ratio of 82.4%)and remarkable stability(more than 20 cycles)via a circulating flow-through process.Unlike the conventional batch-type reactor,experiments and computational fluid dynamics simulations demonstrate that the optimal utilization of the 3D active area under the flow-through mode,initiated by the convectionenhanced mass/charge transfer for Fe^(2+)reduction and then strengthened by MoS_(2)-induced flow rotation for sufficient reactant mixing,is crucial for oxidant activation and subsequent ROS generation.Strikingly,the flow-through co-catalytic system with superwetting capabilities can even tackle the intricate oily wastewater stabilized by different surfactants without the loss of pollutant degradation efficiency.Our findings highlight an innovative co-catalyst system design to expand the applicability of AOPs based technology,especially in large-scale complex wastewater treatment. 展开更多

手部致伤原因众多,导致的手部软组织缺损也呈现多样化,其中伴有指动脉损伤的手指软组织缺损占有较大比例。以往修复此类创伤先用静脉血管移植修复指动脉后,再采用其他多种方式,如邻指皮瓣、腹部带蒂皮瓣、掌背动脉皮瓣、逆行指动脉皮瓣... 手部致伤原因众多,导致的手部软组织缺损也呈现多样化,其中伴有指动脉损伤的手指软组织缺损占有较大比例。以往修复此类创伤先用静脉血管移植修复指动脉后,再采用其他多种方式,如邻指皮瓣、腹部带蒂皮瓣、掌背动脉皮瓣、逆行指动脉皮瓣、静脉动脉化皮瓣等修复[1]。但该类手术操作繁琐,术中需于前臂尺侧切取静脉血管移植,造成额外瘢痕存留,且增加手术操作时间。另外,采用腹部带蒂皮瓣,仍需等待3~4周方能断蒂,治疗周期较长,手术效果难以达到患者预期目标,患者认可度差。因此,采用一种既能够同时修复指动脉及手指软组织缺损又能缩短治疗周期的方法就显得十分必要。本文采用游离尺动脉腕上皮支flow-through皮瓣修复手指软组织缺损患者12例,取得了较好的效果。 展开更多

目的探讨游离股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣在手部复杂性断指再植创面修复中的临床应用及疗效。方法2016年5月-2022年11月,应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣急诊修复15例手部复杂性断指再植创面。通过旋股外侧降支动脉主干或穿支串联断指,完成... 目的探讨游离股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣在手部复杂性断指再植创面修复中的临床应用及疗效。方法2016年5月-2022年11月,应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣急诊修复15例手部复杂性断指再植创面。通过旋股外侧降支动脉主干或穿支串联断指,完成复杂性断指血运重建,其中皮肤软组织缺损面积:7.0 cm×8.0 cm~12.0 cm×23.0 cm,主干血管缺损长度3.5~10.0 cm,对于合并血管、神经或肌腱缺损者,行血管移植、神经移植或携带阔筋膜张肌重建,合并手部死腔嵌合穿支肌皮瓣移植修复,术后门诊或微信随访分析患指及皮瓣情况评估并指导锻炼。结果除1例断指再植坏死,其余皮瓣及断指再植全部成活。患者均获得随访,随访时间6~24个月,断指及皮瓣成活质量良好,皮瓣厚度与周围皮肤接近,质地柔软,无严重瘢痕,恢复部分保护性感觉;断指指体轻度萎缩,恢复指体外形,功能恢复满意,两点辨别觉达5~11 mm;末次随访时根据中华医学会手外科学会上肢部分功能评定试用标准评定再植指功能:优3例,良9例,可2例,差1例,优良率达80%。结论应用游离股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣急诊修复手部复杂性断指再植创面,利用旋股外侧动脉降支或分支与缺损的主干动脉桥接,实现了重建远端血液循环及覆盖创面的双重功能,明显缩短手术时间,提高皮瓣及指体血运重建率,效果良好,值得临床推广。 展开更多

目的探讨应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣修复下肢大面积缺损合并主干动脉缺损的临床疗效。方法2017年9月-2022年3月,应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣修复下肢大面积缺损并主干动脉缺损10例,其中合并胫后动脉缺损7例,胫前动脉缺损3例。一期... 目的探讨应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣修复下肢大面积缺损合并主干动脉缺损的临床疗效。方法2017年9月-2022年3月,应用股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣修复下肢大面积缺损并主干动脉缺损10例,其中合并胫后动脉缺损7例,胫前动脉缺损3例。一期行骨折外固定,VSD覆盖创面,二期行股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣修复术。结果10例皮瓣均成活,1例皮瓣远端少许坏死,经换药后伤口愈合,2例术后出现静脉危象,探查后皮瓣成活。随访8~24个月,平均15个月,皮瓣外观质地良好,5例因皮瓣臃肿行皮瓣修整。供区除伤口瘢痕及色素沉着外,未出现功能影响等并发症。结论股前外侧Flow-through皮瓣穿支可靠,血管蒂长,轴心血管管径粗,可重建主干血管,是修复下肢大面积缺损合并主干动脉缺损的较好选择。 展开更多

In this paper, the main goal is to prepare silk fibroin nano-fiber, which is used for regenerated tissue applications. Silk scaffold nano-fibers made by electro-spinning technology can be used in regenerated tissue applications. The purpose of the research is to prepare a silk-fibroin nano-fiber solution for potential applications in tissue engineering. Using a degumming process, pure silk fibroin protein is extracted from silk cocoons. The protein solution for fibroin is purified, and the protein content is determined. The precise chemical composition, exact temperature, time, voltage, distance, ratio, and humidity all have a huge impact on degumming, solubility, and electro-spinning nano-fibers. The SEM investigates the morphology of silk fibroin nano-fibres at different magnifications. It also reveals the surface condition, fiber orientation, and fiber thickness of the silk fibroin nano-fiber. The results show that regenerated silk fibroin and nano-fiber can be used in silk fibroin scaffolds for various tissue engineering applications. 展开更多

Modulated electro-hyperthermia (mEHT) targets tissue’s natural electric and thermal heterogeneities to heat the cancer cells selectively. The applied 13.56 MHz radiofrequency (RF) is a carrier of the low-frequency modulation. The high-frequency part was chosen to select the malignant lesion using the specialties of the tumor: the higher conductivity and dielectric constant of the tumor than its host. The electric field selects the tumor, and the low-frequency amplitude modulation polarizes and excites the transmembrane proteins of the malignant cells. The dominant absorption of the energy by the microscopic clusters of the membrane rafts acts like nanoparticle heating. Exciting the membrane produces various apoptotic signals. The processes were modeled using silico and phantom experiments, which proved the concept. The preclinical verification was made in vitro and in vivo, and in the end, clinical proofs validated the method. Our objective is to follow all the development steps from the laboratory to the clinics in a trilogy of articles. This present is the first part, which deals with in silico, phantom, and in vitro research. 展开更多

Magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) materials, a new type of composite intelligent materials, exhibit excellent multifield coupling effects. Due to the heterogeneity of the materials, it is challenging to use the traditional finite element method (FEM) for mechanical analysis. Additionally, the MEE materials are often in a complex service environment, especially under the influence of the thermal field with thermoelectric and thermomagnetic effects, which affect its mechanical properties. Therefore, this paper proposes the efficient multiscale computational method for the multifield coupling problem of heterogeneous MEE structures under the thermal environment. The method constructs a multi-physics field with numerical base functions (the displacement, electric potential, and magnetic potential multiscale base functions). It equates a single cell of heterogeneous MEE materials to a macroscopic unit and supplements the macroscopic model with a microscopic model. This allows the problem to be solved directly on a macroscopic scale. Finally, the numerical simulation results demonstrate that compared with the traditional FEM, the multiscale finite element method (MsFEM) can achieve the purpose of ensuring accuracy and reducing the degree of freedom, and significantly improving the calculation efficiency. 展开更多

目的探讨Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复断指再植伴环形缺损的临床疗效。方法选取100例(共112指)断指再植患者为研究对象,按照随机数字表法分为治疗组50例(60指)和对照组50例(52指)。对照组行侧方皮瓣修复,治疗组行Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复... 目的探讨Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复断指再植伴环形缺损的临床疗效。方法选取100例(共112指)断指再植患者为研究对象,按照随机数字表法分为治疗组50例(60指)和对照组50例(52指)。对照组行侧方皮瓣修复,治疗组行Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复。2组均随访6个月,观察并比较2组临床治疗效果以及预后情况。结果治疗后,治疗组优良率为84.00%,显著高于对照组的56.00%(P<0.05)。治疗组不良预后总发生率为12.00%,显著低于对照组的36.00%(P<0.05)。结论Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复断指再植伴环形缺损的效果显著,能够显著降低不良预后发生率。 展开更多

目的探讨股前外侧Flow-through穿支皮瓣游离移植修复伴血管损伤的四肢创面的疗效。方法选择2016年11月-2017年12月收治的合并血管损伤的四肢创面患者8例,采用股前外侧Flow-through穿支皮瓣游离移植修复创面的同时,利用其"T"... 目的探讨股前外侧Flow-through穿支皮瓣游离移植修复伴血管损伤的四肢创面的疗效。方法选择2016年11月-2017年12月收治的合并血管损伤的四肢创面患者8例,采用股前外侧Flow-through穿支皮瓣游离移植修复创面的同时,利用其"T"型血管蒂桥接修复损伤的血管。皮瓣切取面积10cm×6cm~24cm×9cm,血管损伤患者中栓塞4例、缺损5例,皮瓣携带穿支血管1~2支。结果所有皮瓣未发生血管危象。1例皮瓣远端约2cm×2cm坏死,于皮瓣移植术后2周清创缝合。其他皮瓣均完全成活。所有皮瓣供区均Ι期愈合。患者均获2~8个月随访(平均3.6个月),皮瓣质地良好。皮瓣移植术后2~4周行彩超或CTA检查吻合口通畅情况,除1例腘动脉栓塞患者远端吻合口栓塞外,其他皮瓣近远端血管吻合口均通畅。结论股前外侧Flow-through穿支皮瓣在修复四肢创面的同时,利用其较长的血管蒂可同时修复损伤的四肢血管,是修复合并血管损伤的四肢创面的理想方法之一。 展开更多

目的评价Flow-through静脉皮瓣在伴环形缺损断指再植中的临床应用价值。方法采用前瞻性随机对照研究法,将榆林市第一医院手足显微外科自2015年6月至2016年10月收治的70例伴环形皮肤及血管缺损的断指再植患者随机分为两组,对照组(n=35)... 目的评价Flow-through静脉皮瓣在伴环形缺损断指再植中的临床应用价值。方法采用前瞻性随机对照研究法,将榆林市第一医院手足显微外科自2015年6月至2016年10月收治的70例伴环形皮肤及血管缺损的断指再植患者随机分为两组,对照组(n=35)采用侧方皮瓣修复治疗,观察组(n=35)采用Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复治疗,两组患者均随访12个月,比较两组患者的治疗效果、两点辨别感觉以及不良预后发生情况。结果观察组的末次随访手指功能优良率高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组的末次随访时两点辨别感觉为6.5~12.5 mm,平均(8.5±1.3)mm,对照组的末次随访时两点辨别感觉为7.5~14.0 mm,平均(10.4±1.5)mm,组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组的静脉危象、弹性变差、颜色加深等不良预后发生率均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论与侧方皮瓣修复治疗相比,采用Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复治疗伴环形皮肤及血管缺损断指的临床效果更佳,不良预后发生率更低;若临床条件允许,对于伴环形皮肤及血管缺损的断指再植患者,建议优先采用Flow-through静脉皮瓣修复治疗。 展开更多

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electro acupuncture at QIǖXǖ(丘墟GB40) for treating migraine and provide clinical study for Acupoints Dictionary of People's Republic of China. Methods Multi-center (3 First-Class hospitals) study was adopted, and the involved 3 hospitals did clinical observation according to the requirements of the project. The methods are as follows. All cases were randomized into treatment group and control group according to their sequence. QIǖXǖ(丘墟GB40) was selected in treatment group, while Tiānshū (天枢 ST25) was selected in control group. Both groups were performed electro acupuncture, and syndromes indexes of migraine and 5-HT were observed before and after treatment. All data were analyzed by statistic software SPSS11.5. Results There was significant difference of VAS margin between two groups in each center and the combined center (u= -3. 362, P=0. 001 ). There was significant difference of therapeutic effect of 4-week treatment between two groups in each clinical center and the combined center. The therapeutic effect of 3-month treatment between two groups in No. 1 and No. 3 hospitals, showed significant difference, the treatment group was better; while that of No. 2 hospital had no obvious difference. The therapeutic effect of 6-month treatment between two groups in each center and the combined center had significant difference, the treatment group was better. Conclusion The therapy of electro acupuncture at QIǖXǖ(丘墟GB40) is effective for migraine. 展开更多

目的:探讨Flow-through股前外侧游离皮瓣同期修复软组织、主干血管缺损者的治疗效果。方法:纳入60例研究对象并且随机分成观察组与对照组各30例,对照组采取常规清创及经腓肠神经营养皮瓣移植修复治疗方式,而观察组则是采取清创与Flow-th... 目的:探讨Flow-through股前外侧游离皮瓣同期修复软组织、主干血管缺损者的治疗效果。方法:纳入60例研究对象并且随机分成观察组与对照组各30例,对照组采取常规清创及经腓肠神经营养皮瓣移植修复治疗方式,而观察组则是采取清创与Flow-through股前外侧游离皮瓣同期修复治疗方式,观察两组患者治疗效果以及相关不良反应发生情况。结果:术后2周随访情况显示,在治疗效果上,观察组93.33%的治疗总有效率显著高于对照组70.00%的总有效率,观察组术后1个月缺损愈合面积大于对照组,观察组平均住院时间短于对照组,观察组术后7 d疼痛评分低于对照组;两组均见不良反应出现,观察组的不良反应总发生率(6.67%)要远比对照组(30.00%)低,以上差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:对于软组织和主干血管缺损情况,在清创治疗的基础上,给予Flow-through股前外侧游离皮瓣同期修复治疗可取得良好治疗效果,且术后患者不良反应发生率也较低。 展开更多

This paper investigates vibration control of beam through electro-magnetic constrained layer damping (EMCLD) which consists of electromagnet layer, permanent magnet layer and viscoelastic damping layer. When the coil of the electromagnet is electrified with proper control strategy, the electromagnet can exert magnetic force opposite to the direction of structural deformation so that the structural vibration is attenuated. A mathematical model is developed based on the equivalent current method to calculate the electromagnetic control force produced by EMCLD. The governing equations of the system are obtained using Hamilton's Principle and then reduced with the assumed-mode method. A simulation on vibration control of a cantilever beam is conducted under the velocity proportional feedback to demonstrate the energy dissipation capability of EMCLD, and the beam system with the same parameter is experimented. The results of experiment and simulation are compared and the results show that the EMCLD is an effective means for suppressing modal vibration. The results also indicate that the beam system has better control performance for larger control current. The EMCLD method presented in this paper provides an applicable and efficient tool for the vibration control of structures. 展开更多

We reports an efficient approach for production of hydrogen from crude bio-oil and biomass char in the dual fixed-bed system by using the electrochemical catalytic reforming method. The maximal absolute hydrogen yield reached 110.9 g H2/kg dry biomass. The product gas was a mixed gas containing 72%H2, 26%CO2, 1.9%CO, and a trace amount of CH4. It was observed that adding biomass char (a by-product of pyrolysis of biomass) could remarkably increase the absolute H2 yield (about 20%-50%). The higher reforming temperature could enhance the steam reforming reaction of organic compounds in crude bio-oil and the reaction of CO and H20. In addition, the CuZn-Al2O3 catalyst in the water-gas shift bed could also increase the absolute H2 yield via shifting CO to CO2. 展开更多
