We present a new approach to the synthesis of quantum automata. In previous research, reversible quantum automata were designed from tabular specifications or state graphs, and minimum length codes, which lead to circuits with Toffoli gates with high numbers of inputs and thus to high quantum costs. This paper is the first to present a method to synthesize Sequential Quantum Circuits directly from flowcharts. In this paper, we directly map flowcharts to reversible/quantum circuits, using only inverters, 2*2 Feynman gates and 3*3 Toffoli gates, and thus reducing quantum costs. Our method has been confirmed by experiments on several benchmarks of practical flowcharts. 展开更多

A microcomputer software determining the crystallite orientation distribution functions (ODFs) and inverse pole figures of hexagonal materials with or without orthorhombic physical symmetry has been worked out the first time. The texture measurements and the ODF calculations were performed for a multidirectionally cold rolled α-Ti alloy (TA7) sheet by the application of this software. It is shown that the rolling planes of most grains in the sheet tend to be parallel to (0001) with a deviation to the extent of 40° and is shown a predominance of the orientation zone containing (1016), while the rolling directions are, as a whole, uniformly distributed along all the directions over the rolling planes. Of all the texture components, (2¯117) [01¯10] is slightly stronger than the other. 展开更多

Structured flowchart( SFC) and Automatic code generation based on SFC( CG-SFC) have been widely used in software requirements,design and testing phases. Some CG-SFC tools such as Rhapsody have the ability to build flowchart and generate code,but they do not check whether a given flowchart is correct or structural. For unstructured error ‘goto'statements will be generated randomly. We proposed three algorithms and some error recognition criteria to solve those problems. Structure recognition algorithm can recognize Selection,While/for and do-while structures. Error recognition algorithm incorporating criteria can check all the errors. At last,we develop a CG-SFC system,and compared with existing Rhapsody,it shows that the proposed algorithms are correct and effective. 展开更多

Emergency surgical workflow and experience of suspected cases of COVID-19: A case report

BACKGROUND Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 has been confirmed to be a newly discovered zoonotic pathogen that causes highly contagious viral pneumonia,which the World Health Organization has named novel coronavirus pneumonia.Since its outbreak,it has become a global pandemic.During the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),however,there is no mature experience or guidance on how to carry out emergency surgery for suspected cases requiring emergency surgical intervention and perioperative safety protection against virus.CASE SUMMARY A 41-year-old man was admitted to the hospital for emergency treatment due to"3-d abdominal pain aggravated with cessation of exhaust and defecation".After improving inspections and laboratory tests,the patient was assessed and diagnosed by the multiple discipline team as"strangulation obstruction,pulmonary infection”.His body temperature was 38.8℃,and the chest computed tomography showed pulmonary infection.Given fever and pneumonia,we could not rule out COVID-19 after consultation by fever clinicians and respiratory experts.Hence,we performed emergency surgery under three-level protection for the suspected case.After surgery,his nucleic acid test for COVID-19 was negative,meaning COVID-19 was excluded,and routine postoperative treatment and nursing was followed.The patient was treated with symptomatic support after the operation.The stomach tube and urinary tube were removed on the 1st d after the operation.The clearing diet was started on the 3rd d after the operation,and the body temperature returned to normal.Flatus and bowel movements were noted on 5th postoperative day.He was discharged after 8 d of hospitalization.The patient was followed up for 4 mo after discharge,no serious complications occurred.A 71-year-old woman was admitted to our emergency room due to"abdominal distention,fatigue for 6 d and fever for 13 h".After the multiple discipline team evaluation,the patient was diagnosed as"intestinal obstruction,abdominal mass,peritonitis and pulmonary infection".At that time,the patient's body temperature was 39.6℃,and chest computed tomography indicated pulmonary infection.COVID-19 could not be completely excluded after consultation in the fever outpatient department and respiratory department.Therefore,the patient was treated as a suspected case,and an urgent operation was performed under three-level medical protection.Postoperative nucleic acid test was negative,COVID-19 was excluded,and routine postoperative treatment and nursing were followed.After the operation,the patient received symptomatic and supportive treatment.The gastric tube was removed on the 1st d after the operation,and the urinary tube was removed on the 3rd d after the operation.Enteral nutrition began on the 3rd d after the operation.To date,no serious complications have been found during follow-up after discharge.CONCLUSION Based on the previous treatment experience,we reviewed the procedures of two cases of suspected COVID-19 emergency surgery and extracted the perioperative protection experience.By referring to the literature and following the regulations on prevention and management of infectious diseases,we have developed a relatively mature and complete emergency surgical workflow for suspected COVID-19 cases and shared perioperative protection and management experience and measures. 展开更多

There are some deficiencies in existing researches, and their key algorithms and technologies are not elaborated, also there are very few full-featured integrated development platforms that can generate code automatically based on structured flowchart. By analyzing the characteristics of structured flowchart, a structure identification algorithm for structured flowchart is put forward. The correctness of algorithm is verified by enumeration iteration. Then taking the identified flowchart as input, an automatic code generation algorithm is proposed. Also the correctness is verified by enumeration iteration. Finally an integrated development platform is developed using those algorithms, including flowchart modeling, code automatic generation, CDT\GCC\GDB etc. The correctness and effectiveness of algorithms proposed are verified through practical operations. 展开更多

Advances in novel drugs,therapies,and genetic techniques have revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment of cancers,substantially improving cancer patients’prognosis.Although rare tumors account for a non-negligible number,the practice of precision medicine and development of novel therapies are largely hampered by many obstacles.Their low incidence and drastic regional disparities result in the difficulty of informative evidence-based diagnosis and subtyping.Sample exhaustion due to difficulty in diagnosis also leads to a lack of recommended therapeutic strategies in clinical guidelines,insufficient biomarkers for prognosis/efficacy,and inability to identify potential novel therapies in clinical trials.Herein,by reviewing the epidemiological data of Chinese solid tumors and publications defining rare tumors in other areas,we proposed a definition of rare tumor in China,including 515 tumor types with incidences of less than 2.5/100000 per year.We also summarized the current diagnosis process,treatment recommendations,and global developmental progress of targeted drugs and immunotherapy agents on the status quo.Lastly,we pinpointed the current recommendation chance for patients with rare tumors to be involved in a clinical trial by NCCN.With this informative report,we aimed to raise awareness on the importance of rare tumor investigations and guarantee a bright future for rare tumor patients. 展开更多

The matching criterion is the sum of absolute difference. The basic idea is to obtain the best estimation of motion vectors by an optimization of the search process which can terminate the time-consuming computation of matching evaluation between the current block and the ineligible candidate block as early as possible and eliminate the search positions as many as possible in the search area. The performance of this algorithm is evaluated by theoretic analysis and compared with the full search algorithm (FSA). The simulation results demonstrate that the computation load of this algorithm is much less than that of FSA, and the motion vectors obtained by this algorithm are identical to those of FSA. 展开更多

Recently, a considerable emphasis has been laid to the reliability-based optimization model for water distribution systems. But a considerable computational effort is needed to determine the reliability-based optimal design of large networks, even of mid-sized networks. A new methodology which consists of two procedures is presented in this paper. The first procedure is that the optimal design is constrained only by the pressure heads at demand nodes, done in GRG2. Because the reliability constrains are removed from the optimal problem, a number of simulations do not need to be conducted and the computer time is greatly decreased. Then, the second procedure is a linear optimal search procedure. In this linear procedure, the optimal results obtained by GRG2 are adjusted by the reliability constrains. The results are a group of commercial diameters of pipes and the constraints of pressure heads and reliability at nodes are satisfied. Therefore, the computer burden is significantly decreased, and the reliability-based optimization is of more practical use. 展开更多
