Meanwhile, the underlying mechanism behind discharge breakdown failure and nanofiller enhancement under high-frequency electrical stress remains unclear. An electric-thermal coupled discharge breakdown phase field model was constructed to study the evolution of the breakdown path in polyimide nanocomposite insulation subjected to high-frequency stress. The investigation focused on analyzing the effect of various factors, including frequency, temperature, and nanofiller shape, on the breakdown path of Polyimide(PI) composites. Additionally, it elucidated the enhancement mechanism of nano-modified composite insulation at the mesoscopic scale. The results indicated that with increasing frequency and temperature, the discharge breakdown path demonstrates accelerated development, accompanied by a gradual dominance of Joule heat energy. This enhancement is attributed to the dispersed electric field distribution and the hindering effect of the nanosheets. The research findings offer a theoretical foundation and methodological framework to inform the optimal design and performance management of new insulating materials utilized in high-frequency power equipment.展开更多

The improved IF estimation method is put forward aiming at the shortage of traditional Hilbert transform. It is based on Hilbert transform in wavelet domain. With the help of relationship between the real part and the imaginary part obtained from the complex coefficient of continuous wavelet transform or the analyti- cal signal reconstructed in wavelet packet decomposition, the instantaneous phase function of the subcomponent is extracted. In order to improve the precise of IF estimated out, some means such as Linear regression, adaptive filtering, resampling are applied into the instantaneous phase obtained, then, the central differencing operator is used to get desired IF. Few study gives guidance to design weighting filters according to the frequency weighting factors,and the additional evaluation method of automotive ride comfort is not made good use of in some countries.Based on the ...Few study gives guidance to design weighting filters according to the frequency weighting factors,and the additional evaluation method of automotive ride comfort is not made good use of in some countries.Based on the regularities of the weighting factors,a method is proposed and the vertical and horizontal weighting filters are developed.The whole frequency range is divided several times into two parts with respective regularity.For each division,a parallel filter constituted by a low-and a high-pass filter with the same cutoff frequency and the quality factor is utilized to achieve section factors.The cascading of these parallel filters obtains entire factors.These filters own a high order.But,low order filters are preferred in some applications.The bilinear transformation method and the least P-norm optimal infinite impulse response(IIR) filter design method are employed to develop low order filters to approximate the weightings in the standard.In addition,with the window method,the linear phase finite impulse response(FIR) filter is designed to keep the signal from distorting and to obtain the staircase weighting.For the same case,the traditional method produces 0.330 7 m · s^–2 weighted root mean square(r.m.s.) acceleration and the filtering method gives 0.311 9 m · s^–2 r.m.s.The fourth order filter for approximation of vertical weighting obtains 0.313 9 m · s^–2 r.m.s.Crest factors of the acceleration signal weighted by the weighting filter and the fourth order filter are 3.002 7 and 3.011 1,respectively.This paper proposes several methods to design frequency weighting filters for automotive ride comfort evaluation,and these developed weighting filters are effective.展开更多

Results showed that adding 2 μl of 150 μmol/L AS in the wound with suspension medimn at pH 5.2 can significantly improve the transformation frequency of shoot tips of waxy maize; in genetic transformation of maize callus, adding 5 mg/L AS in infection solution can significantly improve the percentage of resistant callus.展开更多

The winding structure including a Faraday shield...This paper presents and investigates planar and coaxial high frequency power transformers used for DC/DC converters in a three phase photo voltaic (PV) power systems. The winding structure including a Faraday shield between the primary and secondary windings is designed to minimize eddy current losses, skin and proximity effects, and to reduce the leakage inductance, and the inter winding coupling capacitance. Finite Element Method is employed to analyze the magnetic flux and eddy current distributions. The two different kinds of prototype high frequency transformers are designed and tested. The simulation and experiment results are demonstrated and compared with non-shielded transformers. The shielded transformers have achieved the expected results with a relatively small coupling capacitance, compared with the conventional high frequency transformer. This shield decreases the inter-winding coupling capacitance Cps. The topology of this shield has to be such that it acts as a Faraday screen while avoiding eddy current generation.展开更多
VFT (variable frequency transformer) has been recently used as art alternative to HVDC (high voltage direct current) to control power flow between asynchronous networks. VFT consumes less reactive power than a bac...VFT (variable frequency transformer) has been recently used as art alternative to HVDC (high voltage direct current) to control power flow between asynchronous networks. VFT consumes less reactive power than a back-to-back HVDC system, provides faster initial transient recovery, and has better natural damping capability. VFT is simply a DFIM (doubly-fed induction machine) where the machine torque controls the power flow from stator to rotor and vice versa. The main disadvantage of this VFT is the slip rings and brushes required for the rotor circuit, especially in bulk power transmission. The BDFM (brushless doubly-fed machine) with nested cage rotor machine is proved to be a comparable alternative to conventional DFIM in many applications with the advantage that all windings being in the stator frame with fixed output terminals. In this paper, the BDFM is used as a BVFT (brushless variable frequency transformer). A prototype machine is designed and simulated to verify the system validity.展开更多
Based on the fact that it is diffi cult to implement optimum inversion using 2D and 3D forward modeling with magnetic-source transient electromagnetics(TEM),this paper explores a novel approach to the implementation o...Based on the fact that it is diffi cult to implement optimum inversion using 2D and 3D forward modeling with magnetic-source transient electromagnetics(TEM),this paper explores a novel approach to the implementation of 2D magnetic-source TEM inversion.In particular,we converted magnetic-source TEM data into magnetotelluric(MT)data and then used a 2D MT inversion method to implement a 2D magnetic-source TEM inversion interpretation.First,we studied the similarity between magnetic-source TEM waves and MT waves and between magnetic-source TEM all-time apparent resistivity and MT Cagniard apparent resistivity.Then,we selected an optimal time-frequency transformation coeffi cient to implement rapid time-frequency transformation of all-time TEM apparent resistivity to MT Cagniard apparent resistivity.Afterward,we conducted 1D pseudo-MT inversions of magnetic-source 1D TEM theoretical models.The 1D inversion results demonstrated that the diff erence between the inversion parameters and model parameters was small,while the MT 1D inversion method could be used to conduct magnetic 1D TEM inversion within a certain margin of error.We further conducted 2D pseudo-MT inversions of 3D magnetic-source TEM theoretical models,and the 2D inversion results indicated that selecting a joint 2D pseudo-MT transverse-electric(TE)and transverse-magnetic(TM)inversion method based on measuring the line above a 3D anomalous body can help to accurately implement a 2D inversion interpretation of the 3D TEM response.展开更多
1Ax1 high molecular weight glutenin subunit (HMW-GS) gene expression cassette (GEC) lacking vector backbone sequences together with selectable marker Bar GEC were co-transformed into Chinese hexaploid cultivars Ee...1Ax1 high molecular weight glutenin subunit (HMW-GS) gene expression cassette (GEC) lacking vector backbone sequences together with selectable marker Bar GEC were co-transformed into Chinese hexaploid cultivars Een 1 and Emai 12 to test the feasibility and the efficiency of explant regeneration, transformation frequency and transgene expression comparing with whole vector transformation by the approaches of plasmid extraction and excision, immature embryo isolation, particle co-bombardment, tissue culture, DNA extraction, PCR amplification, southern hybridization, leaf-painting test and SDS-PAGE etc. No significant difference was shown in tissue culture response of the proportion of embryogenic calli, somatic embryogenesis and regeneration frequency between GEC and whole plasmid bombarded embryos, but both regenerated less well than non-bombarded control. Total 56 plantlets that survived PPT selection had insertion of at least the Bar gene, 18 were from the GEC treatment and 38 from the whole plasmid treatment, the escape ratio averaged 0.23. Six independent transplants f230 - f235 with GEC transformation from genotype Emai 12 presented clear PCR amplification bands of Bar and 1Ax1 gene. The transformation and co-transformation frequency were 3.51 and 100% respectively. PCR amplification using a primer-pair specific for ampicillin resistant gene indicated the existence of Amp^R gene in whole vectors but the removal in GECs and transplants. Southern blot of total DNA and PCR products from transgenic plants of 1Ax1 GEC confirmed the integration of the transgene 1Ax1 and the absence of the EcoR Ⅰ recognition site at both ends of the 1Ax1 GEC when integrated. SDS-PAGE showed the expression of 1Ax1 GEC and un-expression of whole plasmid. The length of integrated fragment, the proportion of the gene of interest (GOI) and the selectable marker (MG), bombardment pressure and genotypes are vital for the expression of a transformed GEC.展开更多

The stable control strategy for three phase boost DC-DC converter has been utilized during simulation in this study and this strategy can be extend to N-number of phases. The stable control strategy consists of only three voltage loops, which are sufficient for appropriate and efficient operation of three phase boost DC-DC converter. With the stable control strategy, the equal power balance sharing can be obtained between input and output. The stability of control strategy has been evaluated by simulating the multiphase boost DC-DC converter for the same and mismatch turn ratios of high frequency transformers. The key property of the proposed topology is the output voltage elevation above the blocking capabilities of each switch, without taking to a delicate synchronization of series-connected semiconductors. The converter is composed by two identical cells, each containing a full bridge, a medium frequency transformer and an NPC converter, connected in parallel at the input and in series at the output. The operation principle of each cell, into which a trapezoidal modulation was implemented, is similar to a DAB (dual active bridge). A new model improves the dynamic performance of the controller. Simulation and experimental results verify the proposed topology, its control and start-up strategy.展开更多
Associated with ITU-T G.719,a post-processing method in frequency domain for enhancing the perceptual quality of the decoded transient audio is proposed only to the audio decoder with no side information from the enco...Associated with ITU-T G.719,a post-processing method in frequency domain for enhancing the perceptual quality of the decoded transient audio is proposed only to the audio decoder with no side information from the encoder.The proposed post-filter is used to filter the frequency coefficients of the decoded transient frame and consists of a short-term post-filter and a spectral tilt compensation filter which are derived from linear predictive coding(LPC) predictor based on the discrete cosine transform(DCT) coefficients of the decoded transient frame.As a result,the post-filter in frequency domain shapes the temporal noise in time domain and controls the pre-echo noise effectively while enhancing the transient perception.Listening test results show that the preferring ratio of the post-processed transient signal is higher than that of the original decoded signal at a low bit rate of 32 kbit/s in G.719 and the post-processing module brings a complexity of 12.399 WMOPS to the decoder.展开更多

The 10 degrees of freedom (DOF) vehicle model is built up. 90-DOF rail model is constructed. The wheel flat excitation model is built up. The vehicle-track coupling dynamic model including wheel flat excitation is set up through nonlinear Hertzian contact theory. The vertical accelerations of axle box are calculated at different speeds and flat sizes based on the vehicle-track coupling dynamic model with wheel flat. Frequency slice wavelet transform (FSWT) is employed to analyze time- frequency characteristics of axle box accelerations to detect the W-R noncontact risks, which the traditional time domain or frequency domain method does not analyze. The results show that the small flat size and high running speed lead to high frequency W-R impact. Large flat size and high running speed result in momentary loss of W-R contact, and there exist security risks between wheel and rail. The conclusion that the phase of axle box accelerations is same to W-R forces lays a theoretical foundation of monitoring W-R contact safety from axle box acceleration instead of traditional W-R force detection.展开更多

The CHF was verified with ultrasonic backscatter signals from simulations and in vitro measurements at a central frequency of 5MHz.The CHF method was compared with the simplified inverse filter tracking(SIFT)method,Simons' Quadratic Transformation(QT)method,Singular Spectrum Analysis(SSA)method,and Spectral Autocorrelation(SAC)method.Monte-Carlo simulations were performed by varying the MTBS,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),standard deviation of regular spacing(SDRS),amplitude ratio of diffuse scattering to regular scattering(Ad)and frequency dependent attenuation(nBUA).The simulation results showed that the CHF method had a better performance in MTBS estimation under almost all the examination conditions except for SNR.The estimation percentage correct(EPC)was greater than 90% when the MTBS was in the range of 0.4to 1.4mm.In the in vitro measurements,the estimated EPC by the CHF method was91.25±7.81%(mean±standard deviation).A significant correlation was observed for the CHF-estimated MTBS and micro-computed tomography(μ-CT)-measured values(R^2=0.75,p<0.01).These results demonstrate that the CHF method is anti-interference for MTBS estimation and can be used to estimate trabecular bone spacing.展开更多
The concept of a flexible power electronics substation(FPES)was first applied in the Zhangbei DC distribution network demonstration project.As a multi-port power electronics transformer(PET)with different AC and DC vo...The concept of a flexible power electronics substation(FPES)was first applied in the Zhangbei DC distribution network demonstration project.As a multi-port power electronics transformer(PET)with different AC and DC voltage levels,the FPES has adopted a novel topology integrating modular multilevel converter(MMC)and four-winding medium frequency transformer(FWMFT)based multiport DC-DC converter,which can significantly reduce capacitance in each sub-module(SM)of a MMC and also save space and cost.In this paper,in order to accelerate speed of electromagnetic transient(EMT)simulations of FPES based hybrid AC/DC distribution systems,an averaged-value model(AVM)is proposed for efficient and accurate representation of FPES.Assume that all SM capacitor voltages are perfectly balanced in the MMC,then the MMC behavior can be modeled using controlled voltage sources based on modulation voltages from control systems.In terms of the averaged current transfer characteristics among the windings of the FWMFT,we consider that all multiport DC-DC converters are controlled with the same dynamics,a lumped averaged model using controlled current and voltage sources has been developed for these four-port DC-DC converters connected to the upper or lower arms of the MMC.The presented FPES AVM model has been tested and validated by comparison with a detailed IGBT-based EMT model.Results show that the AVM is significantly more efficient while maintaining its accuracy in an EMT simulation.展开更多

The comparison of retard functions in different forward speeds by the two methods is observed, and the results of ship motions in forward speed are also compared with the experimental data. An approach is proposed to estimate the initial frequency and chirp rate of the combined signal by exploiting the second-order cyclostationarity of the intra-pulse signal. In addition, under the condition of the equal pulse width, the pulse repetition interval (PRI) of the combined signal is predicted using the low-order Volterra adaptive filter. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed cyclic autocorrelation Hough transform (CHT) algorithm is theoretically tolerant to additive white Gaussian noise. When the value of signal noise to ratio (SNR) is less than 4 dB, it can still estimate the intra-pulse parameters well. When SNR = 3 dB, a good prediction of the PRI sequence can be achieved by the Volterra adaptive filter algorithm, even only 100 training samples.展开更多

Then, the DSFMT of SNCK signal is deduced and classified into three types, based on which, the time-bandwidth product is estimated by the proposed algorithm. Simulation results show that the noise has a signifi cant impact on the localization of the peak value and the time-bandwidth product can be estimated by using local ratio values when.
文摘Few study gives guidance to design weighting filters according to the frequency weighting factors,and the additional evaluation method of automotive ride comfort is not made good use of in some countries.Based on the regularities of the weighting factors,a method is proposed and the vertical and horizontal weighting filters are developed.The whole frequency range is divided several times into two parts with respective regularity.For each division,a parallel filter constituted by a low-and a high-pass filter with the same cutoff frequency and the quality factor is utilized to achieve section factors.The cascading of these parallel filters obtains entire factors.These filters own a high order.But,low order filters are preferred in some applications.The bilinear transformation method and the least P-norm optimal infinite impulse response(IIR) filter design method are employed to develop low order filters to approximate the weightings in the standard.In addition,with the window method,the linear phase finite impulse response(FIR) filter is designed to keep the signal from distorting and to obtain the staircase weighting.For the same case,the traditional method produces 0.330 7 m · s^–2 weighted root mean square(r.m.s.) acceleration and the filtering method gives 0.311 9 m · s^–2 r.m.s.The fourth order filter for approximation of vertical weighting obtains 0.313 9 m · s^–2 r.m.s.Crest factors of the acceleration signal weighted by the weighting filter and the fourth order filter are 3.002 7 and 3.011 1,respectively.This paper proposes several methods to design frequency weighting filters for automotive ride comfort evaluation,and these developed weighting filters are effective.

文摘Acetosyringone (AS) has great influences on Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation. In order to improve the transformation frequency of waxy maize, in this study, shoot tips and immature embryo-derived callus of Lainongnuo 38 were collected as receptor materials, to compare the effects of pH in suspension medium, addition modes and concentrations of acetosyringone on genetic transformation of waxy maize. Results showed that adding 2 μl of 150 μmol/L AS in the wound with suspension medimn at pH 5.2 can significantly improve the transformation frequency of shoot tips of waxy maize; in genetic transformation of maize callus, adding 5 mg/L AS in infection solution can significantly improve the percentage of resistant callus.
文摘This paper presents and investigates planar and coaxial high frequency power transformers used for DC/DC converters in a three phase photo voltaic (PV) power systems. The winding structure including a Faraday shield between the primary and secondary windings is designed to minimize eddy current losses, skin and proximity effects, and to reduce the leakage inductance, and the inter winding coupling capacitance. Finite Element Method is employed to analyze the magnetic flux and eddy current distributions. The two different kinds of prototype high frequency transformers are designed and tested. The simulation and experiment results are demonstrated and compared with non-shielded transformers. The shielded transformers have achieved the expected results with a relatively small coupling capacitance, compared with the conventional high frequency transformer. This shield decreases the inter-winding coupling capacitance Cps. The topology of this shield has to be such that it acts as a Faraday screen while avoiding eddy current generation.
文摘VFT (variable frequency transformer) has been recently used as art alternative to HVDC (high voltage direct current) to control power flow between asynchronous networks. VFT consumes less reactive power than a back-to-back HVDC system, provides faster initial transient recovery, and has better natural damping capability. VFT is simply a DFIM (doubly-fed induction machine) where the machine torque controls the power flow from stator to rotor and vice versa. The main disadvantage of this VFT is the slip rings and brushes required for the rotor circuit, especially in bulk power transmission. The BDFM (brushless doubly-fed machine) with nested cage rotor machine is proved to be a comparable alternative to conventional DFIM in many applications with the advantage that all windings being in the stator frame with fixed output terminals. In this paper, the BDFM is used as a BVFT (brushless variable frequency transformer). A prototype machine is designed and simulated to verify the system validity.

文摘Based on the fact that it is diffi cult to implement optimum inversion using 2D and 3D forward modeling with magnetic-source transient electromagnetics(TEM),this paper explores a novel approach to the implementation of 2D magnetic-source TEM inversion.In particular,we converted magnetic-source TEM data into magnetotelluric(MT)data and then used a 2D MT inversion method to implement a 2D magnetic-source TEM inversion interpretation.First,we studied the similarity between magnetic-source TEM waves and MT waves and between magnetic-source TEM all-time apparent resistivity and MT Cagniard apparent resistivity.Then,we selected an optimal time-frequency transformation coeffi cient to implement rapid time-frequency transformation of all-time TEM apparent resistivity to MT Cagniard apparent resistivity.Afterward,we conducted 1D pseudo-MT inversions of magnetic-source 1D TEM theoretical models.The 1D inversion results demonstrated that the diff erence between the inversion parameters and model parameters was small,while the MT 1D inversion method could be used to conduct magnetic 1D TEM inversion within a certain margin of error.We further conducted 2D pseudo-MT inversions of 3D magnetic-source TEM theoretical models,and the 2D inversion results indicated that selecting a joint 2D pseudo-MT transverse-electric(TE)and transverse-magnetic(TM)inversion method based on measuring the line above a 3D anomalous body can help to accurately implement a 2D inversion interpretation of the 3D TEM response.

文摘1Ax1 high molecular weight glutenin subunit (HMW-GS) gene expression cassette (GEC) lacking vector backbone sequences together with selectable marker Bar GEC were co-transformed into Chinese hexaploid cultivars Een 1 and Emai 12 to test the feasibility and the efficiency of explant regeneration, transformation frequency and transgene expression comparing with whole vector transformation by the approaches of plasmid extraction and excision, immature embryo isolation, particle co-bombardment, tissue culture, DNA extraction, PCR amplification, southern hybridization, leaf-painting test and SDS-PAGE etc. No significant difference was shown in tissue culture response of the proportion of embryogenic calli, somatic embryogenesis and regeneration frequency between GEC and whole plasmid bombarded embryos, but both regenerated less well than non-bombarded control. Total 56 plantlets that survived PPT selection had insertion of at least the Bar gene, 18 were from the GEC treatment and 38 from the whole plasmid treatment, the escape ratio averaged 0.23. Six independent transplants f230 - f235 with GEC transformation from genotype Emai 12 presented clear PCR amplification bands of Bar and 1Ax1 gene. The transformation and co-transformation frequency were 3.51 and 100% respectively. PCR amplification using a primer-pair specific for ampicillin resistant gene indicated the existence of Amp^R gene in whole vectors but the removal in GECs and transplants. Southern blot of total DNA and PCR products from transgenic plants of 1Ax1 GEC confirmed the integration of the transgene 1Ax1 and the absence of the EcoR Ⅰ recognition site at both ends of the 1Ax1 GEC when integrated. SDS-PAGE showed the expression of 1Ax1 GEC and un-expression of whole plasmid. The length of integrated fragment, the proportion of the gene of interest (GOI) and the selectable marker (MG), bombardment pressure and genotypes are vital for the expression of a transformed GEC.
文摘This article proposes a new transceiver design for Single carrier frequency division multiple access(SCFDMA)system based on discrete wavelet transform(DWT). SCFDMA offers almost same structure as Orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA)with extra advantage of low Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR). Moreover,this article also suggests the application of Walsh Hadamard transform(WHT)for linear precoding(LP)to improve the PAPR performance of the system. Supremacy of the proposed transceiver over conventional Fast Fourier transform(FFT)based SCFDMA is shown through simulated results in terms of PAPR,spectral efficiency(SE)and bit error rate(BER).
文摘The multiphase boost DC-DC converter with stable control strategy is presented. Multi- phase boost DC-DC converter is designed for high voltage and high power applications, and could be achieved by the adjustment of voltage doubler rectifiers on the secondary side of high frequency transformers. The stable control strategy for three phase boost DC-DC converter has been utilized during simulation in this study and this strategy can be extend to N-number of phases. The stable control strategy consists of only three voltage loops, which are sufficient for appropriate and efficient operation of three phase boost DC-DC converter. With the stable control strategy, the equal power balance sharing can be obtained between input and output. The stability of control strategy has been evaluated by simulating the multiphase boost DC-DC converter for the same and mismatch turn ratios of high frequency transformers. The simulation result is good and the objective of the strategy is a- chieved.
文摘This paper introduces an isolated reversible DC-DC converter with a particular topology, which benefits from both the NPC (neutral point clamped) structure and the series-parallel connection of converters. The key property of the proposed topology is the output voltage elevation above the blocking capabilities of each switch, without taking to a delicate synchronization of series-connected semiconductors. The converter is composed by two identical cells, each containing a full bridge, a medium frequency transformer and an NPC converter, connected in parallel at the input and in series at the output. The operation principle of each cell, into which a trapezoidal modulation was implemented, is similar to a DAB (dual active bridge). A new model improves the dynamic performance of the controller. Simulation and experimental results verify the proposed topology, its control and start-up strategy.

文摘Associated with ITU-T G.719,a post-processing method in frequency domain for enhancing the perceptual quality of the decoded transient audio is proposed only to the audio decoder with no side information from the encoder.The proposed post-filter is used to filter the frequency coefficients of the decoded transient frame and consists of a short-term post-filter and a spectral tilt compensation filter which are derived from linear predictive coding(LPC) predictor based on the discrete cosine transform(DCT) coefficients of the decoded transient frame.As a result,the post-filter in frequency domain shapes the temporal noise in time domain and controls the pre-echo noise effectively while enhancing the transient perception.Listening test results show that the preferring ratio of the post-processed transient signal is higher than that of the original decoded signal at a low bit rate of 32 kbit/s in G.719 and the post-processing module brings a complexity of 12.399 WMOPS to the decoder.

文摘Against the deficiencies of traditional time domain and frequency domain analysis in detecting wheel-rail (W-R) system hidden risks which wheel flats generate, the time-frequency characteristics of W-R shock caused by wheel flat are analyzed and the vehicle-rail dynamic model with wheel flat is investigated. The 10 degrees of freedom (DOF) vehicle model is built up. 90-DOF rail model is constructed. The wheel flat excitation model is built up. The vehicle-track coupling dynamic model including wheel flat excitation is set up through nonlinear Hertzian contact theory. The vertical accelerations of axle box are calculated at different speeds and flat sizes based on the vehicle-track coupling dynamic model with wheel flat. Frequency slice wavelet transform (FSWT) is employed to analyze time- frequency characteristics of axle box accelerations to detect the W-R noncontact risks, which the traditional time domain or frequency domain method does not analyze. The results show that the small flat size and high running speed lead to high frequency W-R impact. Large flat size and high running speed result in momentary loss of W-R contact, and there exist security risks between wheel and rail. The conclusion that the phase of axle box accelerations is same to W-R forces lays a theoretical foundation of monitoring W-R contact safety from axle box acceleration instead of traditional W-R force detection.
文摘The nonparametric kernel estimation of probability density function (PDF) pro-vides a uniform and accurate estimate of flood frequency-magnitude relationship.However, the kernel estimate has the disadvantage that the smoothing factor h is estimate empirically and is not locally adjusted, thus possibly resulting in deteri oration of density estimate when PDF is not smooth and is heavy-tailed. Such a problem can be alleviate by estimating the density of a transformed random vari able, and then taking the inverse transform. A new and efficient circular transform is proposed and investigated in this paper

文摘Ultrasonic backscatter signals from cancellous bone are sensitive to the microstructure of trabecular bone,and thus enable the feasibility to extract microstructural information of trabecular bone.The mean trabecular bone spacing(MTBS)is an important parameter for characterizing bone microstructure.This paper proposes an MTBS estimation method based on the combination of Hilbert transform and fundamental frequency estimation(CHF). The CHF was verified with ultrasonic backscatter signals from simulations and in vitro measurements at a central frequency of 5MHz.The CHF method was compared with the simplified inverse filter tracking(SIFT)method,Simons' Quadratic Transformation(QT)method,Singular Spectrum Analysis(SSA)method,and Spectral Autocorrelation(SAC)method.Monte-Carlo simulations were performed by varying the MTBS,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),standard deviation of regular spacing(SDRS),amplitude ratio of diffuse scattering to regular scattering(Ad)and frequency dependent attenuation(nBUA).The simulation results showed that the CHF method had a better performance in MTBS estimation under almost all the examination conditions except for SNR.The estimation percentage correct(EPC)was greater than 90% when the MTBS was in the range of 0.4to 1.4mm.In the in vitro measurements,the estimated EPC by the CHF method was91.25±7.81%(mean±standard deviation).A significant correlation was observed for the CHF-estimated MTBS and micro-computed tomography(μ-CT)-measured values(R^2=0.75,p<0.01).These results demonstrate that the CHF method is anti-interference for MTBS estimation and can be used to estimate trabecular bone spacing.

文摘The concept of a flexible power electronics substation(FPES)was first applied in the Zhangbei DC distribution network demonstration project.As a multi-port power electronics transformer(PET)with different AC and DC voltage levels,the FPES has adopted a novel topology integrating modular multilevel converter(MMC)and four-winding medium frequency transformer(FWMFT)based multiport DC-DC converter,which can significantly reduce capacitance in each sub-module(SM)of a MMC and also save space and cost.In this paper,in order to accelerate speed of electromagnetic transient(EMT)simulations of FPES based hybrid AC/DC distribution systems,an averaged-value model(AVM)is proposed for efficient and accurate representation of FPES.Assume that all SM capacitor voltages are perfectly balanced in the MMC,then the MMC behavior can be modeled using controlled voltage sources based on modulation voltages from control systems.In terms of the averaged current transfer characteristics among the windings of the FWMFT,we consider that all multiport DC-DC converters are controlled with the same dynamics,a lumped averaged model using controlled current and voltage sources has been developed for these four-port DC-DC converters connected to the upper or lower arms of the MMC.The presented FPES AVM model has been tested and validated by comparison with a detailed IGBT-based EMT model.Results show that the AVM is significantly more efficient while maintaining its accuracy in an EMT simulation.
文摘The time-domain calculations of retard function and ship motions in waves by the direct time-domain method (DTM) and the frequency to time-domain transformation method (FTTM) are compared and analyzed. A Wigley-hull-form ship and an $60 ship moving in waves are examined, and the corresponding retard functions are in good agreement with those given by DTM and FTTM. The comparison of retard functions in different forward speeds by the two methods is observed, and the results of ship motions in forward speed are also compared with the experimental data. On this basis, the advantage and disadvantage of them are discussed.

文摘In this paper, the problem of parameter estimation of the combined radar signal adopting chaotic pulse position modulation (CPPM) and linear frequency modulation (LFM), which can be widely used in electronic countermeasures, is addressed. An approach is proposed to estimate the initial frequency and chirp rate of the combined signal by exploiting the second-order cyclostationarity of the intra-pulse signal. In addition, under the condition of the equal pulse width, the pulse repetition interval (PRI) of the combined signal is predicted using the low-order Volterra adaptive filter. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed cyclic autocorrelation Hough transform (CHT) algorithm is theoretically tolerant to additive white Gaussian noise. When the value of signal noise to ratio (SNR) is less than 4 dB, it can still estimate the intra-pulse parameters well. When SNR = 3 dB, a good prediction of the PRI sequence can be achieved by the Volterra adaptive filter algorithm, even only 100 training samples.
