The results showed that di fferent doses of Erweikang could effectively reverse the decreased induction lev els of NK, IL 2, γ IFN and the contents of TNF and IgG of the immunosu ppressive mice after administration of Erweikang for 7 to 14 days. The peddiatric patients received rahabilitation treatment at 4 (range, 2-7) days after surgery for 10 (range, 7-23) days. Results from the Modified McCormick Scale, Functional Independence Measure for Chil- dren, American Spinal Injury Association Impairment Scale and Karnofsky Performance Status Scale demonstrated that the sensory function, motor function and activity of daily living of pedi- atric children who received early rehabilitation were significantly improved. Results also showed that tumor setting and level localization as well as patients's clinical symptoms have no influences on neurofunctional outcomes.展开更多

The paper approaches the problem of the command functions of galvanometer-based scanners (GS) that are necessary to produce the linear plus parabolic scanning function of the GS, which we have proved previously to p...The paper approaches the problem of the command functions of galvanometer-based scanners (GS) that are necessary to produce the linear plus parabolic scanning function of the GS, which we have proved previously to produce the highest possible duty cycle (i.e., time efficiency) of the device. We have completed this theoretical aspect (which contradicted what has been stated previously in the literature, where it has been considered that the linear plus sinusoidal scanning function was the best) with the experimental study of the most used scanning functions of the GSs (sawtooth, sinusoidal and triangular), with applications in biomedical imaging, in particular in optical coherence tomography, demonstrating that the triangular function is always the best one to be applied, from both an optical and a mechanical point of view. In the present study the input voltage/command function which should be applied to the GS to produce the desired triangular scanning function (with controlled non-linearity for the fastest possible stop-and-turn portions) was determined analytically, in relationship with the active torque that drives the device. This command function is analyzed with regard to the specific, respectively required parameters of the GS: natural frequency and damping factor, respectively scan speed and amplitude. The modeling in an open loop control structure of the GS is finally discussed as a trade-off between using the highest possible duty cycle and minimizing the maximum peaks of the input voltage.展开更多
Objectives To assess the effect of delayed opening the infarct - related artery (IRA) by percutanous coronary intervention (PCI) on the late phase left ventricular function after acute ante- rior myocardial infarction...Objectives To assess the effect of delayed opening the infarct - related artery (IRA) by percutanous coronary intervention (PCI) on the late phase left ventricular function after acute ante- rior myocardial infarction. Methods 64 patients with initial Q - wave anterior myocardial infarction and the infarct - related arteries were total occluded conformed by angiogram at 2 to 14 days after onset were divided into successful PCI group and control group ( not re- ceiving PCI or the IRA not re - opened). 2 - DE was performed at early phase ( about 3 weeks) , 2 and 6 months after onset of AMI respectively to detect the left ventricular function and left ventricular wall motion ab- normality (VWMA). The total congestive heart failure events were recorded during 6 months follow-up. Re- sults VWMA scores, left ventricular ejection frac- tion (LVEF) , left ventricular end - diastolic and end - systolic volume indices ( LVEDVI and LVDSVI) were similar in 2 groups at early phase and 2 months. There were no differences between early phase and 2 months in each group too. VWMA scores and LVEF did not changed at 6 months in each group compared with the early phase and 2 months ( P > 0. 05 ). But LVEDVI and LVESVI were significantly smaller in the successful PCI group than in the control group (P < 0.01, P < 0. 05). The congestive heart failure events were taken place in 19% of patients in control group com- pared with 2% in successful PCI group ( P > 0. 05 ). Conclusions Although the infarct size does not changed, delayed opening the IRA has beneficial effect to the late phase left ventricular dilatation after acuteanterior myocardial infarction.展开更多

DATA SOURCES: O...OBJECTIVE: This study assessed the efficacy and tolerability of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for treatment of auditory hallucination of patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. DATA SOURCES: Online literature retrieval was conducted using PubMed, ISI Web of Science, EMBASE, Medline and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials databases from January 1985 to May 2012. Key words were "transcranial magnetic stimulation", "TMS", "repetitive tran- scranial magnetic stimulation", and "hallucination". STUDY SELECTION: Selected studies were randomized controlled trials assessing therapeutic ef- ficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for hallucination in patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Experimental intervention was low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in left temporoparietal cortex for treatment of auditory hallucination in schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Control groups received sham stimulation. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The primary outcome was total scores of Auditory Hallucinations Rating Scale, Auditory Hallucination Subscale of Psychotic Symptom Rating Scale, Positive and Negative Symptom Scale-Auditory Hallucination item, and Hallucination Change Scale. Secondary outcomes included response rate, global mental state, adverse effects and cognitive function. RESULTS: Seventeen studies addressing repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for treatment of schizophrenia spectrum disorders were screened, with controls receiving sham stimulation. All data were completely effective, involving 398 patients. Overall mean weighted effect size for repeti- tive transcranial magnetic stimulation versus sham stimulation was statistically significant (MD = -0.42, 95%C/: -0.64 to -0.20, P = 0.000 2). Patients receiving repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation responded more frequently than sham stimulation (OR = 2.94, 95%C/: 1.39 to 6.24, P =0.005). No significant differences were found between active repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and sham stimulation for positive or negative symptoms. Compared with sham stimulation, active repeti- tive transcranial magnetic stimulation had equivocal outcome in cognitive function and commonly caused headache and facial muscle twitching. CONCLUSION: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation is a safe and effective treatment for auditory hallucination in schizophrenia spectrum disorders,展开更多

The effects of operative parameters and material properties, blank holder force and plastic prestrain, on springback are in- vestigated. A generic reliability approach was developed to control springback. Subsequently, the Monte Carlo simula- tion technique in conjunction with the Latin hypercube sam- pling method was adopted to study the probabilistic spring- back. Finite element method based on implicit/explicit al- gorithms was used to model the springback problem. The proposed constitutive law for sheet metal takes into account the adaptation of plastic parameters of the hardening law for each prestrain level considered. Rackwitz-Fiessler al- gorithm is used to find reliability properties from response surfaces of chosen springback geometrical parameters. The obtained results were analyzed using a multi-state limit reli- ability functions based on geometry compensations.展开更多

The necessary and su?cient conditionis derived for the existence of the H∞ suboptimal model reduction problem. Next, we give an exactand practicable algorithm to get the parameters of the reduced subsystems by applying the matrixtheory. Meanwhile, the reduced system may be also impulsive. The advantages of the proposedalgorithm are that it is more ?exible in a straight-forward way without much extra computation, andthe order of the reduced systems is as minimal as possible. Two independently prepared targe...Two independent measurements of cross sections for the 19F+93Nb dissipative heavy-ion collision (DHIC) have been performed at incident energies from 100 to 108 MeV in steps of 250 keV. Two independently prepared targets were used respectively with all other experimental conditions being identical in both experiments. The data indicate non-reproducibility of the non-self-averaging oscillation yields in the two measurements. The statistical analysis of this non-reproducibility supports recent theoretical predictions of spontaneous coherence, slow phase randomization and extreme sensitivity in highly excited quantum many-body systems.展开更多

Structures of <img src="Edit_bb84deb7-e24a-4777-a2f6-a1621ddd2afc.png" alt="" /> clusters were studied by density functional calculations with global optimization. For each <span style="font-family:"color:black;white-space:normal;"><i>n</i></span>, the most stable structures are quite similar for different metal types, and the oxygen molecule prefers to be adsorbed onto M atoms. It is found that the activation degree of oxygen is higher on clusters with non-noble metal Cu than that of Ag or Au containing clusters, by comparing the changes of O-O bond length and vibrational frequency, natural charge population analysis, Fuzzy bond order analysis, and energy barriers of O<sub>2</sub> dissociation. CO oxidation was used as a probe reaction to study the reactivity of Cu-containing clusters, and it is found that the reactivity decreases with the increase of the size of silicon-oxygen clusters. Our results give a new aspect to understand the reaction mechanism of non-precious metal single-atom catalyst for oxygen activation with high efficiency.展开更多
