Garlic peel,as the raw material,was modified by loading with zirconium(IV),exhibiting quite good uptaking behaviour for fluoride anion.The adsorption experiments were carried out in batch shaking vessels,and the process was strongly dependent on the pH value.The adsorption fits Langmuir model well,and the maximum adsorption capacities at equilibrium pH 2 and 6 are evaluated to be 1.10 and 0.89 mol(fluoride)/kg of Zr-loaded garlic peel gel,respectively.The evaluation of effects of coexisting anions such as nitrate,sulfate and phosphate shows that nitrate and sulfate have no negative effect on the adsorption of fluoride,while phosphate has a little effect.Adsorption kinetics of fluoride is well described by pseudo-second-order rate equation,and the corresponding adsorption rate constant is calculated to be 3.25×10?3 g/(mg·min). 展开更多

The exact traveling wave solutions are established in the form of trigonometric, hyperbolic, exponential and rational functions with some free parameters. At temperature around 60 ℃ to 80 ℃ , fibers were formed. Increase of temperature increasesparticle size slightly. At temperature of 105℃ , most of particles are spheres. The RESS is an attractive process. We study the traveling wave and other solutions of the perturbed Kaup-Newell Schrodinger dynamical equation that signifies long waves parallel to the magnetic field.The wave solutions such as bright-dark(solitons),solitary waves,periodic and other wave solutions of the perturbed Kaup-Newell Schrodinger equation in mathematical physics are achieved by utilizing two mathematical techniques,namely,the extended F-expansion technique and the proposed exp(-φ(ξ))-expansion technique.This dynamical model describes propagation of pluses in optical fibers and can be observed as a special case of the generalized higher order nonlinear Schrodinger equation.In engineering and applied physics,these wave results have key applications.Graphically,the structures of some solutions are presented by giving specific values to parameters.By using modulation instability analysis,the stability of the model is tested,which shows that the model is stable and the solutions are exact.These techniques can be fruitfully employed to further sculpt models that arise in mathematical physics. 展开更多

Due to acidic solutions aggressiveness, corrosion inhibitors use is considered to be one the most practical methods to delay metals dissolution in the said solutions. In this study benzimidazolyl derivative namely 2-cyanochalcones 2-(5-nitro-1,3-dihydrobenzimidazol-2-ylidene)-3-oxo-3-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl) propanenitrile which was synthesized was then applied as a corrosion inhibitor for copper in 1 M HNO<sub>3</sub> solution. The inhibition action of this molecule was evaluated by gravimetric and density functional theory (DFT) methods. It was found experimentally that this compound has a better inhibition performance and its adsorption on copper surface follows Langmuir adsorption isotherm. This adsorption evolves with temperature and inhibitor concentration, it is endothermic and occurs spontaneously with an increase in disorder. Corrosion kinetic parameters analysis supported by Adejo-Ekwenchi model revealed the existence of both physisorption and chemisorption. DFT calculations related that compound adsorption on copper surface is due to its electron donating and accepting capacity. The reactive regions specifying the electrophilic and nucleophilic attack sites were analyzed using Fukui and dual descriptor functions. Experimental results obtained were compared with the theoretical findings. 展开更多

Kisslinger (1980) and Julian Foulger (1996) proposed an approach to determine solution by using amplitude ratio of P and S wave. Schwartz (1995) devised a method to determine solutions by the use of polarity DATA and amplitudes of seismogram envelopes. Amplitudes of short period seismic waves propagating in an inhomogene-ous medium ARE sensitive to the variation in velocity and Q structure. Nakamura et al (1999) took medium inhomo-geneity into account in determining FOCAL mechanisms of SMALL EARTHQUAKES using waveform data. If the locations of SMALL EARTHQUAKES ARE concentrated in a SMALL region we can assume that the raypaths from the events to a given station ARE almost the same. So P and S wave attenuations ARE independent of event locations. In this case it is con-venient to determine FOCAL mechanisms of these events by using short period P and S wave dataj. FOCAL mechanism solutions of SMALL EARTHQUAKES in 5 regions i.e. Rongchang Mabian-Muchuan Ya'an Baoxing and Mianzhu which ARE covered by the Chengdu Telemetered Network ARE obtained by analyzing the P polarity and short body wave amplitude DATA recorded in the network since 1992. According to the method proposed by Gephart and Forsyth (1984) based on well determined FOCAL mechanism solutions in 15 sub-zones of Sichuan and Yunnan area three principal stress tensors s1 s2 and s3 instead of averages of P B and T axis of the solutions ARE determined to represent the regional stress field distribution.……

The structure of the materials was characterized by X_ray diffraction technique, the particle size of semiconductor crystallites from X_ray patterns was estimated less than 10 nm. From absorption spectra, it is obtained that the absorption edges shifted to short wavelength diraction when Zn contents increased, and the absorption edge can be adjusted from 2.46 eV to 2.96 eV by controlling Zn contents. The third_order nonlinear optical susceptibility was studied at 532 nm with 8 ns pulse laser by degenerate four wave mixing (DFWM) technique. 展开更多

A multi-phase slag containing Na2O is potential to efficiently dephosphorize high-P hot metal.After dephosphorization,the generated slag with high P2O5 content is regarded as a P resource.Because P2O5 was mainly concentrated in the 2CaO SiO2-3CaO P2O5 solid solution,the recovery of P from dephosphorization slag primarily depends on the separation of the solid solution from other phases.The distribution ratios of P2O5 between solid solution and liquid phase in the CaOSiO2-FeO-P2O5-Nslag system were investigated.The results indicated that the addition of Na2O facilitated the enrichment of P2O5 in the solid solution because it increased not only the distribution ratio of P2O5 but also the mass fraction of the solid solution.The distribution ratio of P2O5 was independent of the P2O5 content in slag.A higher P2O5 content in slag resulted in higher P2O5 and Na2O contents in the solid solution.The distribution ratio of P2O5 increased with the total Fe content in the liquid phase,regardless of the valence of Fe.An increase in the FeO content in slag brought a higher P2O5 content in the solid solution.As slag basicity increased,the distribution ratio of P2O5 increased,but the P2O5 content in the solid solution decreased. 展开更多

在设施水培条件下,以金乡白皮蒜为试材探讨了钾对水培大蒜蒜薹和鳞茎鲜质量及氮磷钾含量的影响。试验设置0、3.0、6.0、9.0和12.0 mmol/L 5个K+水平。结果表明,在营养液K+浓度0-9.0 mmol/L范围内,蒜薹粗度、蒜薹鲜质量、鳞茎横径、头... 在设施水培条件下,以金乡白皮蒜为试材探讨了钾对水培大蒜蒜薹和鳞茎鲜质量及氮磷钾含量的影响。试验设置0、3.0、6.0、9.0和12.0 mmol/L 5个K+水平。结果表明,在营养液K+浓度0-9.0 mmol/L范围内,蒜薹粗度、蒜薹鲜质量、鳞茎横径、头型指数及单头鲜质量随营养液K+浓度的升高而增加,至K+浓度9.0 mmol/L时达最大,较不施钾处理分别提高80.01%、258.70%、66.16%、22.56%和258.70%;当营养液K+浓度为12.0 mmol/L时上述指标下降。营养液K+浓度9.0 mmol/L时蒜薹及鳞茎全钾含量最高,较不施钾处理分别提高483.50%和399.25%。不施钾处理蒜薹及鳞茎全氮全磷含量均高于各施钾处理,施钾处理间全氮全磷含量均以K+浓度9.0 mmol/L时较高。充足的钾可显著增加水培大蒜蒜薹及鳞茎鲜质量,增加大蒜全钾含量,并以营养液K+浓度9.0 mmol/L时上述指标表现最好。 展开更多
