Utilizing the stability characterizations of generalized inverses of linear operator, we investigate the existence of generalized resolvent of linear pencils in Banach spaces. Some practical criterions for the existence of generalized resolvents of the linear pencil λ→ T - λS are provided and an explicit expression of the generalized resolvent is also given. As applications, the characterization for the Moore-Penrose inverse of the linear pencil to be its generalized resolvent and the existence of the generalized resolvents of linear pencils of finite rank operators, Fredholm operators and semi-Fredholm operators are also considered. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve many results in this area.展开更多

Semi-inner product structure has been used to study the (A, η)-monotonicity. Using the generalized resolvent operator technique and the semi-inner product structure, the approximation solvability of the proposed problem is investigated. An iterative algorithm is constructed to approximate the solution of the problem. Convergence analysis of the proposed algorithm is investigated. Similar results are also investigated for variational inclusion problems involving (H, η)-monotone mappings.展开更多

Its blocks can be arranged into an m×(km+1) array in such a way that (1) the blocks in every column of the array form a partial parallel class partitioning V\{x} for some point x, and (2) every element of V is contained in precise k cells of each row. In this paper, we completely solve the existence of NGBTD(4,m) and almost completely solve the existence of NGBTD(5,m) with four exceptions.展开更多
