We solve the problem of the optimal distribution of a set ofinstructions on available processors. We propose a genetic algorithm to parallelize computations, using evolution to search the solution space. The stagesof our proposed genetic algorithm are: The choice of the initial populationand its representation in chromosomes, the crossover, and the mutation operations customized to the problem being dealt with. In this paper, geneticalgorithms are applied to the entire search space of the parallelization ofthe program instructions problem. This problem is NP-complete, so thereare no polynomial algorithms that can scan the solution space and solve theproblem. The genetic algorithm-based method is general and it is simple andefficient to implement because it can be scaled to a larger or smaller number ofinstructions that must be parallelized. The parallelization technique proposedin this paper was developed in the C# programming language, and our resultsconfirm the effectiveness of our parallelization method. Experimental resultsobtained and presented for different working scenarios confirm the theoreticalresults, and they provide insight on how to improve the exploration of a searchspace that is too large to be searched exhaustively.展开更多

They pose a serious challenge to traditional optimization methods as well as conventional genetic algorithms since the goal is no longer to search for the optimal solution(s) of a fixed problem but to track the moving optimum over time. Dynamic optimization problems have attracted a growing interest from the genetic algorithm community in recent years. Several approaches have been developed to enhance the performance of genetic algorithms in dynamic environments. One approach is to maintain the diversity of the population via random immigrants. This paper proposes a hybrid immigrants scheme that combines the concepts of elitism, dualism and random immigrants for genetic algorithms to address dynamic optimization problems. In this hybrid scheme, the best individual, i.e., the elite, from the previous generation and its dual individual are retrieved as the bases to create immigrants via traditional mutation scheme. These elitism-based and dualism-based immigrants together with some random immigrants are substituted into the current population, replacing the worst individuals in the population. These three kinds of immigrants aim to address environmental changes of slight, medium and significant degrees respectively and hence efficiently adapt genetic algorithms to dynamic environments that are subject to different severities of changes. Based on a series of systematically constructed dynamic test problems, experiments are carried out to investigate the performance of genetic algorithms with the hybrid immigrants scheme and traditional random immigrants scheme. Experimental results validate the efficiency of the proposed hybrid immigrants scheme for improving the performance of genetic algorithms in dynamic environments.展开更多

We firstly present an approach to construct a directed fuzzy graph of an evolutionary population according to individuals’ dominance relations, cut-set levels and interval dominance probabilities, and then calculate an individual’s crisp fitness based on the out-degree and in-degree of the fuzzy graph. The optimal solutions of these functions and the stress distribution on the structure are calculated and compared through an example, and their characteristics are analyzed. Finally we put forward two new objective functions, curvature and deformation energy for pipe system optimization. The calculations show that using the curvature as the objective function can reflect the case of minimal stress, and the optimization results using the deformation energy represent lesser and more uni- form stress distribution. The calculation results and process showed that the genetic algorithms can effectively implement damping design of engine pipelines and satisfy the efficient engineering design requirement.展开更多

Fragile watermarking requires detection of even minute intentional changes to the 3D model along with the location of the change. This poses a challenge since inserting random amount of watermark in all the vertices of the model would generally introduce perceptible distortion. The proposed algorithm overcomes this challenge by using genetic algorithm to modify every vertex location in the model so that there is no perceptible distortion. Various experimental results are used to justify the choice of the genetic algorithm design parameters. Experimental results also indicate that the proposed algorithm can accurately detect location of any mesh modification.展开更多

The NPPGA is an effective improvement to maintain the population diversity as well for the sake of avoiding premature and strengthen parallelism of the population to accelerate the search process combined with niche genetic algorithms and pseudo-parallel genetic algorithms. The proposed approach is evaluated by robotic path optimization, which is a specific application of traveler salesman problem (TSP). Experimental results indicated that a shortest path could be obtained in the practical traveling salesman problem named "Robot tour around Pekin", and the performance conducted by NPPGA is better than simple genetic algorithm (SGA) and distributed paralell genetic algorithms (DPGA).

文摘The vibration failure of pipe system of aeroengine seriously influences the safety of aircraft. Its damping design is determined by the selection of the design target, method and their feasibility.Five objective functions for the vibration design of a pipeline or pipe system are introduced, namely, the frequency, amplitude, transfer ratio, curvature and deformation energy as options for the optimization process. The genetic algorithms(GA)are adopted as the opti- mization method,in which the selection of the adaptive genetic operators and the method of implementation of the GA process are crucial. The optimization procedure for all the above ob- jective functions is carried out using GA on the basis of finite element software-MSC/NASTRAN. The calculation results and process showed that the genetic algorithms can effectively implement damping design of engine pipelines and satisfy the efficient engineering design requirement.
文摘We set up computer vision system for tomato images. By using this system, the RGB value of tomato image was converted into HIS value whose H was used to acquire the color character of the surface of tomato. To use multilayer feed forward neural network with GA can finish automatic identification of tomato maturation. The results of experiment showed that the accuracy was up to 94%.

文摘Smart contract has greatly improved the services and capabilities of blockchain, but it has become the weakest link of blockchain security because of its code nature. Therefore, efficient vulnerability detection of smart contract is the key to ensure the security of blockchain system.Oriented to Ethereum smart contract, the study solves the problems of redundant input and low coverage in the smart contract fuzz.In this paper,a taint analysis method based on EVM is proposed to reduce the invalid input,a dangerous operation database is designed to identify the dangerous input, and genetic algorithm is used to optimize the code coverage of the input, which construct the fuzzing framework for smart contract together. Finally,by comparing Oyente and ContractFuzzer, the performance and efficiency of the framework are proved.

文摘In this paper, the problem of reliability-based optimal design of simple offshore platform is studied, and a nonlinear fatigue damage model based on damage mechanics and genetic algorithms are used in the fatigue reliability optimum design of the structure under stochastic wave load. The fatigue damage model and the yield failure reliability analyzing model are used in the paper. The reliability of the models and the effectiveness of genetic algorithm are shown by the results of optimum design.
文摘This paper describes a novel algorithm for fragile watermarking of 3D models. Experimental results also indicate that the proposed algorithm can accurately detect location of any mesh modification.
