The contents of syringaresnol diglucoside in spring leaves and autumn leaves were 0.147%-0.023% and 0.314%-0.011% respectively. The contents of geniposidic acid in spring leaves was not detectable and in autumn leaves 3.98%-0.37%. The contents of syringaresnol diglucoside and geniposidic acid in autumn leaves were much higher than that in spring leaves.
