Non-fullerene organic solar cell(NFOSC)has attracted tremendous attention due to their great potential for commercial applications.To improve its power conversion efficiency(PCE),generally,sequential solution deposition(SSD)methods have been employed to construct the graded vertical phase separation(VPS)of the bulk-heterojunction(BHJ)active layer for efficient exciton separation and charge transition.However,a variety of orthogonal solvents used in the SSD may lead to the unpredicted change in the BHJ morphology and introduce additional defects inside the BHJ bulk thus complicate the fabrication process.Here,a simple oscillating stratification preprocessing(OSP)is developed to facilitate the formation of graded VPS among the BHJ layer.As a result,a significant improvement is obtained in PCE from 10.96%to 12.03%,which is the highest value reported among PBDB-T:ITIC based NFOSC. 展开更多

This article presents a new method to obtain local reinforcement in near-surface layers of channels in castings made of a particle-reinforced metal matrix composite in the alternating electromagnetic field generated by an inductor placed inside the channel. In centrifugal casting, the centrifugal force on the particles leads to the formation of composite structures, while in the proposed method, the electromag- netic force field on the particles results in the designed structure of the composite casting. The article reports the experimental verification of this method using an aluminium sleeve reinforced locally with SiC particles at the inner wall. 展开更多

This paper presents a new method to increase the speed of the separated absorption, grading, charge, and multiplication avalanche photodiode (SAGCM-APD). This improvement is obtained by adding a new thin charge layer between absorption and grading layers, with assuming the non-uniform electric field in different regions of the structure. In addition, a circuit model of the proposed structure is extracted, using carrier rate equations. Also, to achieve the optimum structure, it is tried to have trade-offs among thickness of the layers and have proper tuning of physical parameters. Eventually, frequency and transient response are investigated and it is shown that, in comparison with the previous conventional structure, significant improvements in gain-bandwidth product, speed and also in breakdown voltage are attained. 展开更多
