There have been few studies describing the findings of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS) of each type. Our case concerns a 78-year-old man who had undergone routine medical check-ups for hepatitis C for 11 years. Abdominal ultrasonography showed a 28 mm, hypo-echoic mass in the segment 4 of the liver. His integrating amount of drinking was 670 kg convert into ethanol. CEUS with Sonazoid demonstrated mild uniform hypo-enhancement with inflow of microbubbles from the periphery of the tumor in the arterial phase, and heterogeneously hypo-enhancement in the post vascular phase. Because the mass increased in size within 3 mo, a well differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma was suspected, and hepatic resection was performed. Microscopic findings showed homogeneous cell proliferation with low grade atypia, infiltration of inflammatory cells, ductular reactions, fatty deposit in part, and sinusoidal dilation. Immunohistochemistry revealed geographic positive for serum amyloid A(SAA), focal positive for glutaminesynthetase, diffuse and strong positive for C-reactive protein, and positive for liver-type fatty acid binding protein. These pathological features corresponded to that of an inflammatory HCA. However, we could not make a clear diagnosis, because HCAs were defined as not to arise in cirrhotic liver. Finally, this tumor was diagnosed as a SAA positive hepatocellular neoplasm.展开更多
Objective:To determine the preventive effects of curcumin on peroxidative damage under two bed rest conditions.Methods:20 healthy male(10 with curcumin and 10 without curcumin ) volunteers were selected.They were stud...Objective:To determine the preventive effects of curcumin on peroxidative damage under two bed rest conditions.Methods:20 healthy male(10 with curcumin and 10 without curcumin ) volunteers were selected.They were studied before,during,and just on bed rest conditions at -6°head-down-tilt(HDT) bed rest and bed rest position(BD) for 10 days.We measured the salivary and serum oxidative markers such as Malonaldehyde,8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine, vitamin C and E just before HDT & BD.during HDT & BD experiment,and in course time of recovery with curcumin and without curcumin groups.Results:The values of serum and salivary vitamin C & E showed statistically significant decrease in both bed rest conditions as compared to those of the conditions before and during the recovery stage.However,these levels were not significantly lowered in curcumin groups in contrast to the groups without curcumin (P】0.05).MDA and 8-OHdG levels showed significant increase in simulating microgravity and zero gravity conditions as compared to those before and in the recovery stage.However,these levels were lower in curcumin groups in contrast to the groups without curcumin(P【0.05).Serum and salivary correlation analysis revealed a strong and highly significant correlation for MDA. vitamin C & E and 8 dihydro-2 deoxyguanosine(8-OHdG) in the conditions before,during and in the recovery periods in both bed rest conditions.Since saliva collection is easy and noninvasive, measurements of salivary marker levels may prove to be useful in the space research. Conclusions:Curcumin prevents peroxidative damage in both bed rest conditions.Further study is required on antioxidation actions of curcumin in space microgravity conditions.展开更多

Methods Surface plasma resonance, circular dichroism and fluorescence experiments were conducted. Results ( 1 ) the binding ability was decreased along with the increase of pH; (2) Zn^2+and Ni^2+ enhanced the interaction between PS-ODN and HSA; (3) Upon PS-ODN binding, the conformation of HSA was changed with an increase of β - sheet. Conclusion The results provide experimental evidences to the hypothesis that PS-ODN binds with HSA in the positive potential region, and histidine residues located in the region play a crucial rule in the interaction.展开更多

文摘目的探讨绝经女性良性阵发性位置性眩晕(benign paroxysmal positional vertigo,BPPV)患者血清25-羟维生素D_(3)[25-hydroxyvitamin D_(3),25(OH)D_(3)]、血钙水平与骨代谢指标的变化及临床意义。方法选取2020年8月至2021年8月杭州市第九人民医院103例绝经BPPV患者纳入BPPV组,根据1年复发情况,再将其分为复发组(n=18)与无复发组(n=85);另选取同期50名健康体检的绝经女性纳入对照组。收集其临床资料及血清25(OH)D_(3)、血钙、骨代谢指标[Ⅰ型前胶原氨基端前肽(procollagen typeⅠN-terminal propeptide,PINP)、骨钙素N端中分子片段(N-terminal midfragment of osteocalcin,N-MID)、Ⅰ型胶原羟基端肽β降解产物(β-isomerised C-terminal telopeptide of collagen typeⅠ,β-CTX)和骨性碱性磷酸酶(bone alkaline phosphatase,BALP)],构建Logistic回归模型分析绝经女性发生BPPV的危险因素,并采用受试者操作特征曲线分析相关指标对BPPV复发的预测价值。结果BPPV组患者的血清25(OH)D_(3)水平显著低于对照组(P<0.05),长期饮食不规律占比、PINP、N-MID、BALP水平均显著高于对照组(P<0.05);多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,低25(OH)D_(3)、高PINP、高N-MID、高BALP均是绝经女性发生BPPV的危险因素(P<0.05);复发组患者的25(OH)D_(3)水平显著低于无复发组(P<0.05),PINP、N-MID、BALP水平均显著高于无复发组(P<0.05);25(OH)D_(3)、PINP、N-MID、BALP及四项联合预测BPPV复发的曲线下面积(area under the curve,AUC)分别为0.833、0.654、0.697、0.782、0.910,四项联合预测的AUC最大,敏感度和特异性分别为98.97%、70.62%。结论绝经女性BPPV患者血钙水平无明显改变,血清25(OH)D_(3)水平降低,PINP、N-MID与BALP水平升高均是发生BPPV的危险因素,且可用于BPPV复发的预测。
