Harmonic Resonance Analysis of Shale Gas Distribution Network with Phased Load

Based on the background of achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the development and application of new high-power compressors, electric grid drilling RIGS and electric fracturing pump system provide new equipment support for the electric, green and intelligent development of shale gas fields in China. However, the harmonic pollution of shale gas grid becomes more serious due to the converter and frequency conversion device in the system, which easily causes harmonic resonance problem. Therefore, the harmonic resonance of shale gas grid is comprehensively analyzed and treated. Firstly, the working mechanism of compressor, electric drilling RIGS of the harmonic impedance model of electric fracturing pump system is established. Secondly, the main research methods of harmonic resonance analysis are introduced, and the basic principle of modal analysis is explained. Modal analysis method was used to analyze. Finally, harmonic resonance is suppressed. The results show that there may be multiple resonant frequency points in the distribution network changes, but these changes are relatively clear;if the original resonant frequency point of the resonant loop does not exist, the resonant frequency point disappears. The optimal configuration strategy of passive filter can effectively suppress harmonic resonance of distribution network in shale gas field. 展开更多

Electromagnetic interference assessment of a train-network-pipeline coupling system based on a harmonic transmission model

The harmonics and resonance of traction power supply systems(TPSSs)aggravate the electromagnetic interference(EMI)to adjacent metallic pipelines(MPs),which has aroused widespread concern.In this paper,an evaluation method on pipeline interference voltage under harmonic induction is presented.The results show that the Carson integral formula is more accurate in calculating the mutual impedance at higher frequencies.Then,an integrated train-network-pipeline model is established to estimate the influences of harmonic distortion and resonance on an MP.It is revealed that the higher the harmonic cur-rent distortion rate of the traction load,the larger the interference voltage on an MP.Particularly,the interference voltage is amplified up to 7 times when the TPSS resonates,which is worthy of attention.In addition,the parameters that affect the variation and sensitivity of the interference voltage are studied,namely,the pipeline coating material,locomotive position,and soil resistivity,indicating that soil resistivity and 3PE(3-layer polyethylene)anticorrosive coating are more sensitive to harmonic induction.Field test results show that the harmonic distortion can make the interference voltage more serious,and the protective measures are optimized. 展开更多

The harmonics of plane longitudinal and transverse waves in nonlinear elastic solids with up to cubic nonlinearity in a one-dimensional setting are investigated in this paper. It is shown that due to quadratic nonlinearity, a transverse wave generates a second longitudinal harmonic.This propagates with the velocity of transverse waves, as well as resonant transverse first and third harmonics due to the cubic and quadratic nonlinearities. A longitudinal wave generates a resonant longitudinal second harmonic, as well as first and third harmonics with amplitudes that increase linearly and quadratically with distance propagated. In a second investigation, incidence from the linear side of a primary wave on an interface between a linear and a nonlinear elastic solid is considered. The incident wave crosses the interface and generates a harmonic with interface conditions that are equilibrated by compensatory waves propagating in two directions away from the interface. The back-propagated compensatory wave provides information on the nonlinear elastic constants of the material behind the interface. It is shown that the amplitudes of the compensatory waves can be increased by mixing two incident longitudinal waves of appropriate frequencies. 展开更多

The pulse dynamics of harmonic mode-locking in a dissipative soliton resonance(DSR) region in an erbiumdoped fiber ring laser is investigated at different values of anomalous dispersion. The fiber laser is mode-locked by a nonlinear polarization rotation technique. By inserting 0–200 m anomalous dispersion single-mode fiber in the laser cavity, the cavity length is changed from 17.3 to 217.3 m, and the corresponding dispersion of the cavity ranges from -0.27 to-4.67 ps^2. The observed results show that the tuning range of repetition rate under a harmonic DSR condition is highly influenced by the cavity dispersion. Furthermore, it is found that, by automatically adjusting their harmonic orders, the lasers can work at certain values of repetition rate, which are independent of the cavity length and dispersion. The pulses at the same repetition rate in different laser configurations have similar properties, demonstrating that each achievable repetition rate represents an operation regime of harmonic DSR lasers. 展开更多

We experimentally investigate the resonant and nonresonant second-harmonic generation in a single cadmium sulfide(Cd S) nanowire. The second-order susceptibility tensor is determined by analyzing the forward secondharmonic signals of the Cd S nanowire. Our results show that(1) d33∕d31=-2.5 at a nonresonant input wavelength of 1050 nm;(2) d33∕d31=-1.9 at a resonant wavelength of 740 nm. The difference can be attributed to the polarization-dependent resonance. 展开更多

The occurrence of high frequency resonances(HFRs)has been frequently observed in several MMC-HVDC projects.To avoid these HFRs,the controller design of an MMC must satisfy two requirements:1)The controller should remain stable while in the high frequency range,and 2)MMC impedance should not possess a negative real part in the high frequency range.So far,majority of the related studies on MMC controller design have been unable to address these requirements precisely.This paper first describes the simplified high frequency MMC impedance model developed indigenously by the authors.Subsequently,the driving mechanism of two kinds of HFRs is revealed using the said developed model,including:1)MMC controller instability,and 2)Interaction instability between MMC and AC cables.Furthermore,the mathematical expressions outlining the controller stability constraint and positive damping constraint are proposed.Additionally,NSGA-III based multi-objective optimization algorithm is adopted,to identify the region most suitable for satisfying the proposed stability constraints under the MMC controller parameters.The proposed controller design method is capable of effectively evading the HFRs triggered by the incompatible MMC.The detailed time-domain simulations generated using PSCAD/EMTDC software validate the proposed designed method and endorse the improved results. 展开更多

Employing the AC/DC impedance analysis method,extensive research has been conducted on issues pertaining to harmonic resonance observed in wind farm-connected MMCHVDC systems over the past 5 years.In general,this method divides the studied system into two subsystems at AC and DC sections.Subsequently,the impedance produced by these subsystems can be used to determine the system stability by implementing Nyquist criterion or generalized Nyquist stability criterion.However,the existing impedance analysis methods usually assume the subsystems to be stable and disregard certain special cases with potentially unstable subsystems,where the unstable poles of these subsystems must be evaluated before applying Nyquist criterion.In view of this consideration,a simplified method for identifying unstable subsystem poles is presented in this paper.Hence,the shortcoming of existing impedance analyses is rectified by considering the unstable subsystem poles.The proposed method and the stability analyses are validated by the electromagnetic transient simulation performed in PSCAD/EMTDC. 展开更多

A high power continuous-wave single-frequency green fiber laser by second-harmonic generation of a Yb-doped fiber amplifier(YDFA)is developed.A linearly polarized single-mode fiber amplifier produces a 60 W infrared laser at 1064 nm with a 103 W incident diode pump laser at 976 nm,corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 58%.An external bow-tie enhancement cavity incorporating a noncritically phase-matched lithium triborate crystal is employed for second-harmonic generation.A 33.2 W laser at 532 nm is obtained with a 45 W incident 1064 nm fundamental laser,corresponding to a conversion efficiency of 74%. 展开更多
