Research on Systematic Analysis and Countermeasures of the Buildings Construction Safety Problems

The buildings construction safety problems contain various safety-hidden dangers that caused by the human unsafe behaviors, the substance unsafe conditions, operation environment unsafe factors and management defects. The authors summarize comprehensively the problems of buildings construetion safety in China at present based on grasping the whole safety status of buildings construction, and the synthetic countermeasures including the systems about laws, management, technology and education civilization for buildings construction safety management are brought up based on the viewpoint of safety system theory. Then it is thought that huilding scientific management mechanisms and popularizing effective management methods and measures are the fundamental ways for improving further the level of safety management for buildings construction in China at present.

Management present situation and countermeasures of coal mines safety in production

Analyzed of the present situation of Chinese coal mines safety in production and the reasons for coal mining accident,and realized the coal mines safety in production, which should increase the legal safeguards of coal mine safety in production,and safety input,established the comprehensive coal mine safety evaluation system,comprehen- sively enhance quality of coal mine workers,established and improved early warning me- chanism of safety production of coal mine.

Problems in Food Safety of Hunan Province and Countermeasures

In recent years,serious food safety accidents are of frequent occurrence. Although government has taken many practical and feasible measures to contain food safety accidents,new food safety accidents still emerge in large numbers. In this situation,food safety control is a long-term and arduous task to be performed jointly by many government departments. Finally,it presents corresponding countermeasures and recommendations on the basis of current situations of food safety in Hunan Province,problem causes,in combination with control measures related to food safety both at home and abroad.

Study and Countermeasures on Safety Control of Traditional Chinese Medicines Industry Chain

I'm very grateful to Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and DIA for their elaborate organization,so that we are able to participate in the Sino-Europe Symposium.Yesterday and today,several professors have talked about various aspects.It is true that the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine is important,and safety is equally important.For this reason,our laboratory works on the effective test,and at the same time,since 2001,we have been focusing on the safety of traditional Chinese medicines,especially the research on exogenous pollution.Today,I would like to share with you some of the quality control of the whole industry chain of traditional Chinese medicine and some of our thoughts.

Ecological Hidden Troubles and Countermeasures under Reform of Collective Forest Tenure

Three stages of reform of collective forest tenure after reform and opening up are reviewed.The reform of forest tenure brings sharp increase of economic benefit.However,due to forest farmers' subjective pursuit for economic benefit and objective lack of necessary economic,financial and technical support,ecological hidden troubles are created.Based on these,we put forward countermeasures,including strengthening forest farmers' awareness of ecological protection and solving ecological problems in accordance with actual conditions of the region.

Farmers' Dual Roles in Food Safety: Perceptions and Countermeasures

Farmers are both the producers and consumers of food, and as such have a dual role in food safety： they both generate risks and are exposed to them. Based upon a survey of the food production and consumption habits of 140 farm households and long-term research in two villages in Yunnan province, this study found that rural families are highly dependent on the market for food production and consumption. In their role as consumers, farmers are aware of food safety risks and concerned about them, but their ability to protect themselves is limited. They do so primarily by avoiding certain products and growing as much of their own food as possible. At the same time, in their role as producers, farmers engage in practices, primarily the overuse and inappropriate use of fertilizer and pesticides, that are damaging to food safety and the environment. There is therefore a disconnect in their roles as consumers and producers that needs to be addressed if policy goals for improving food safety and reducing the use of agricultural chemicals are to be achieved. Farmers need more information about food safety risks related to the products they consume themselves, and technical guidance on the safe use of farm chemicals when growing food for market. However, such measures will not be effective unless the external pressures on farmers are also addressed, through consideration of market incentives to use farm chemicals and the impact of consumer demand.

Countermeasures of Reclaimed Municipal Wastewater for Safety of Agricultural Use in China

China is facing a severe water resource crisis, and the shortage of water for agricultural consumption is a prominent problem. Irrigation with reclaimed municipal wastewater that can reach the agricultural recycling standards is an important way to deal with water shortage in agricultural production. Owing to the complex sources of municipal wastewater, there are multifarious pollutants in municipal wastewater. Improper use of wastewater can cause potential risks to agoenvironment, agricultural products safety, and human health. This article deals with the current situation and the development prospects of reclaimed wastewater for agricultural use in China and abroad; the potential risks to human health and environmental pollution from the reclaimed municipal wastewater for agricultural reuse are also discussed. And some countermeasures and advices of reclaimed municipal wastewater for safety of agricultural reuse are provided.

Application of"Six Thinking Hats"in the Investigation and Improvement of Hidden Dangers in Food Safety

With the development of economy,people's living standards are constantly improving,and the requirements for food safety are getting higher and higher.The Food Safety Law stipulates that enterprises should implement the main responsibility of food safety,and the investigation and improvement of food safety hazards plays an important role in improving the food safety management level of enterprises and reducing food safety risks.This paper combines the innovative thinking mode of six thinking hats with food safety,discusses the application mode of six thinking hats in food safety investigation and improvement,and hopes to improve food safety level through this way.

Quantitative Evaluation of Safety of the Chinese Agriculture after Joining the WTO

From the international competitiveness of industry,the foreign dependency rate of industrial exports,the foreign dependency rate of industrial imports and foreign equity control rate of industry,we conduct quantitative evaluation of safety of the Chinese agriculture in the period 2002-2009,and compare the evaluation results with the related data prior to joining the WTO,using multi-indicator system analysis method.The results show that after joining the WTO,despite the decline in the safety of Chinese agriculture in the period 2002-2009,the Chinese agriculture is still basically safe,close to the edge of the "unsafety",because some uncertainties mushroom.As a result,we analyze the reason for increase of unsafe factors in the Chinese agriculture after joining the WTO,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and solutions.

Study on the Problems and Countermeasure in the Animal Products Quality and Safety

As the supply chain of animal products is long,there are many factors which would influence the quality safety of animal production.Therefore,by focusing on the present and having a vision for future,Jiaozuo government promulgated Ten Polices on the Food Safety in Jiaozuo City,which pushed forward the technological development,intensified measures to monitor the quality of animal products,set up a series of mechanism,and provided reference for the food quality and safety monitoring.

Formulation Method and Management Principle for the Safety Base-line of Atmospheric Environmental Quality

The formulation of the safety base-line for atmospheric environmental quality is not only basic needs of mankind maintaining the quality of survival environment but also concrete measures of red line system for national ecological protection. It is urgent to solve the problem in current environmental management how to draft the safety basa-line of atmospheric environmental quality. To solve this problem, the connotation of safety base-line for atmospheric environmental quality is defined firstly, and then the indexes for atmospheric importance, sensitivity and vulnerability are generalized. Moreover, formulation methods for red, yellow and green lines of the safety base-line for atmospheric environmental quality are put forward ,and corresponding division principle and management principle are put forward finally.

Hidden Dangers and Preventive Measures in the Inventory of Articles in Operating Room

Operating Room is an important place for surgical diagnosis and treatment and rescue of patients. With the rapid development of medical technology, high, precision, sharp continuous development, operating room safety management is particularly important. The error of the counting of the surgical articles causes the foreign body left in the patient’s body, which will cause irreversible damage to the patient and even cause the medical dispute and touch the legal problem. Operation items inventory system is an important working system in the operating room. Scientific and standardized methods and systems for counting surgical instruments and dressings during operation can prevent foreign bodies from being left in the body, prevent errors and accidents in the operating room, and are very important for ensuring the safety of the operation of patients. In order to ensure the safety of patients, it is necessary to ensure the correct inventory of surgical items. The factors affecting the accuracy of item counting in the operating room and the preventive measures are summarized as follows.

Transit Bus and Pedestrian Safety Analysis in the Context of Operator Improvements and Traffic Volume Assessment

Pedestrian safety related to public bus transit is an integral part of promoting sustainability especially in the urban setting. This concept has received significant attention within the last decade as transit agencies strive to make their systems more sustainable and safer at the same time. This study examined pedestrian collisions related to public transit buses in Philadelphia over a three-year study period from 2008 to 2011. The objective is to perform a detailed analysis on crash records, which provides the foundation on statistics for bus-pedestrian collision to allow for future studies in modeling work in this field. Results of this research provided insights on bus-pedestrian collisions in terms of bus maneuver, cause of crash, impact point of bus, and relation to hourly traffic volume. A strong correlation was found between traffic volume and bus-pedestrian collision rate in terms of hours of the day. For any given hour, an increase in collision frequency was found if the traffic volume exceeds a threshold of 5% of its average annual daily traffic. This serves as an indicator of locations that pedestrians are vulnerable at. Analyses were conducted to the fullest extent allowable by the limited dataset. This study presents findings that can be future developed and investigated in future studies. Additionally, countermeasures are recommended in each section that presents a critical area to address.

预制菜产业在生产许可、加工经营、贮存与运输、销售等环节均存在食品安全风险,而当前我国应对预制菜产业食品安全风险的法律法规及行业规范尚不完善,对预制菜产业的监管存在不足之处。需要以保障消费者权益为核心,以健全预制菜产业有关标准体系、构建预制菜产业监管的基本制度为具体对策,以数字技术赋能预制菜产业治理,推动预制菜产业规范健康发展。

Patient Safety Risks and Measures for Pediatric Neurosurgery Nursing

The aim of this study was to determine the patient safety risks and measures for pediatric neurosurgery nursing.A total of 564 pediatric patients admitted to the hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 under the neurosurgery department were included in this study.We analyzed the safety incidents in pediatric neurosurgery nursing and their causes and proposed corresponding measures for pediatric neurosurgery nursing in hope to reduce the occurrence of patient safety incidents in pediatric neurosurgery nursing and establish harmonious nurse-patient relationships.

An Importance Segregation Based Multi-Objective Optimization Model for Traffic Safety Improvement Countermeasure Selection

This paper presents a multi-objective optimization model to decide effective and beneficial portfolio for implementing traffic safety improvements under budgetary constraints.Different from the conventional multi-objective approaches,the proposed model segregates decision criteria into different importance levels and designs a successive optimization approach to obtain the final solution(s).Such modeling features offer the advantages to:1)prevent the arbitrariness for transportation agencies to determine weights for decision criteria;2)remedy the deficiency of over-weighting less important criteria in the traditional multi-objective optimization approach;and 3)minimize the number of potential solutions for final decision by transportation agencies with enhanced screening of the sub-optimal solutions.Case study results reveal that the proposed model is efficient not only for deciding the most suitable traffic safety countermeasure for a specific site,but also for determining the plans for implementing multiple countermeasures among multiple sites given the budget constraint.Comparative study results have also indicated that the proposed model outperforms the traditional criteria in objectively selecting traffic safety improvements in a multi-criteria decision-making process.The clarity of model inputs and the interpretation of results with respect to different selection criteria offer its best potential to be used as an effective decision-support tool for transportation authorities to assess and refine their safety improvement investments.
