The microstructures, phase constitutions and oxidation behavior of these coatings were studied. The results show that the coating prepared by co-depositing Si?Y at 1080 °C for 5 h has a multiple layer structure: a superficial zone consisting of Al-rich (Ti,Nb)5Si4 and (Ti,Nb)5Si3, an out layer consisting of (Ti,Nb)Si2, a middle layer consisting of (Ti,Nb)5Si4 and (Ti,Nb)5Si3, and aγ-TiAl inner layer. Co-deposition temperature imposes strong influences on the coating structure. The coating prepared by Si?Y co-depositing at 1080 °C for 5 h shows relatively good oxidation resistance at 1000 °C in air, and the oxidation rate constant of the coating is about two orders of magnitude lower than that of the bare TiAl alloy.展开更多

Methods: HepG2 cells were treated with or without DAG (1 μM). Glucose consumption, intracellular glycogen content, phosphorylation of PI3K and Akt stimulated by insulin, expression of miR-455-5p, as well as IGF-1R protein level were analyzed. In addition, bioinformatic analysis, dual luciferase reporter assay, miR- 455-5p mimic or inhibitor treatment was conducted to investigate the molecular mechanisms. Results: High glucose treatment upregulated miR-455-5p expression but reduced glucose consumption and glycogen content. DAG reversed the effect of high glucose on glucose metabolism, increased protein level of IGF-1R and phosphorylation of PI3K/Akt stimulated by insulin, as well as downregulated miR-455-5p expression. Bioinformatic analysis indicated IGF-1R was the target of miR-455-5p. Dual luciferase reporter assay, as well as transfection with miR-455-5p mimic/inhibitor confirmed that DAG activated IGF-1R/PI3K/Akt signaling via inhibiting miR-455-5p. Conclusion: DAG improves insulin resistance via miR-455-5p- mediated activation of IGF-1R/PI3K/Akt system, suggesting that suppression of miR-455-5p or activation of DAG may be potential targets for T2DM therapy.展开更多

There is no universal animal model, and careful evaluation of variety of factors needs to be considered when designing new experiments. Here, we investigated the effect of 9 weeks high-fat diet(HFD) intervention, providing 60% energy from fat, on parameters of inflammation and insulin resistance in male C57 BL/6 J mice. Methods: Six weeks old mice were initiated on regular diet(RD) or HFD providing 60 kcal energy from fat for 9 weeks. Fasting blood glucose levels were measured by glucometer, and fasting plasma levels of insulin and proinflammatory cytokines by Luminex assay. Insulin sensitivity was evaluated by using QUICKI and HOMA2 indexes. Results: HFD mice showed ~ 40% higher body weight and ~ 20% larger abdominal circumference, due to an increase in the white adipose tissue mass. Liver examination revealed increased size and higher hepatic lipid accumulation in livers from HFD mice compared to their RD counterparts. Animals from the HFD group were characterized with significantly higher presence of crown-like structures(CLS) in WAT and higher plasma levels of proinflammatory cytokines(TNF-α, IL-6, leptin, MCP-1, PAI-1, and resistin). HFD-fed mice also demonstrated impaired insulin sensitivity(lower QUICKI, higher HOMA-insulin resistance(HOMA-IR), and lower HOMA-percent sensitivity(HOMA-%S)) index values. Conclusion: Male C57 BL/6 J mice on 9 weeks HFD providing 60 kcal energy from fat display impaired insulin sensitivity and chronic inflammation, thus making this DIO mouse model appropriate for studies of early stages of obesity-related pathology.展开更多

The results show that delayed fracture resistance of boron containing steels is higher than that of conventional steel 60Si2MnA at the same strength level and it increases with the increase of boron eontent from 0. 000 5% to 0. 001 6%. The delayed fracture mode is mainly intergranular in the boron containing steels tempered at 350℃, which indicates that the addition of boron does not change the fracture character. However, the increase of boron content enlarges the size of the crack initia tion area. Further study of phase analysis indicates that most boron is in solid solution, and only a very small quantity of boron is in the M3 (C, B) phase.展开更多

However, physical weldability testing is costly, time consuming and dependent of supplies of material and equipment. Finite Element (FE) simulations have been utilized to understand, verify and optimize manufacturing processes more efficiently. The present work aims to verify the capability of FE models for the RSW process by comparing simulation results to physical experiments for materials used in automotive production, with yield strengths from approximately 280 MPa to more than 1500 MPa. Previous research has mainly focused on lower strength materials. The physical weld results were assessed using destructive testing and an analysis of expulsion limits was also carried out. Extensive new determination of material data was carried out. The material data analysis was based on physical testing of material specimens, material simulation and comparison to data from literature. The study showed good agreement between simulations and physical testing. The mean absolute error of weld nugget size was 0.68 mm and the mean absolute error of expulsion limit was 1.10 kA.展开更多

The rats had free access to high fat diet and water for 9 weeks. No significant difference was found in body weight (BW), total abdominal fat, food intake and food utilization rate between OVX control group and 20VX groups. However, the fasting blood glucose and blood lipid levels were significantly higher in 20VX groups than in OVX control group (P〈0.05). Intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (IGTI") showed that the area under AUC was smaller in 20VX groups than in OVX control group (P〈0.05). These findings showed that soy isoflavone crude extract supplementation can improve glucose tolerance and prevent high fat diet-induced insulin resistance in ovariectomized rats.展开更多

We put forward the thermocouple point contact test method. According to the principle that LED forward voltage changes with temperature,LED heat sink to surface temperature distribution is studied directly in the test, and then we analyze the thermal resistance of high-power LED with many integrated chips when its secondary packaging is introduced. This method makes the measurement of thermal resistance of LED more rapid and convenient. Both CoCrCuFe Ni and CoCrCuFeNi–TiO alloys are composed of a face-centered cubic(fcc) solid solution, whereas the alloys of CoCrCuFeNi–TiO are basically composed of an fcc solid solution and TiO crystals. The microstructures of CoCrCuFeNi–TiO are identified as dendrite and interdendrite structures such as CoCrCuFeNi. The morphology of TiO is identified as an equiaxed crystal with a small amount of added Ti_2CO. By increasing the amount of Ti_2CO added, the TiO content was dramatically increased and part of the equiaxed crystals changed to a dendrite structure. A test of the oxidation resistance demonstrates that the oxidation resistance of CoCrCuFeNi–TiO is better than that of CoCrCu Fe Ni. However, as the TiO content increases further, a corresponding decrease is observed in the oxidation resistance.展开更多

An inorganic adhesive is invented to replace the organic adhesive. For the inorganic adhesive at normal temperature and different high temperatures, the microstructure and phase composition are investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and SEM respectively. Results show that inorganic adhesive can resist at least 600 ℃ high temperature. Fire-resistance performance of inorganic adhesive can meet the requirements of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) strengthened RC structures.展开更多

The softening process of 6082 alloys with Zr and without Zr, isothermally conditioned at 250°C, has been investigated. The results show the inclusion of Zr inhibits the decrease of HB in hardness(HB) compared with the alloys without Zr. This is due to the Zr and Al forming coherent dispersoid-A!3Zr, and Al3Zr particles within an Al matrix, which effectively restricts grain boundary movement. A study is also carried out to investigate the changes in resistivity, which occurs during the ageing of alloys containing Zr, compared to those without Zr. It is found that in both cases there is an initial rapid rise in resistivity followed by a slower rise in resistivity as ageing proceeds. The value of resistivity is lower for 6082 alloys with Zr compared with 6082 alloys without Zr; this is explained in terms of the role of Zr in the 6082 alloys.展开更多

文摘Objective: To explore the mechanism by which ghrelin regulates insulin sensitivity through modulation of miR-455-5p in hepatic cells. Conclusion: DAG improves insulin resistance via miR-455-5p- mediated activation of IGF-1R/PI3K/Akt system, suggesting that suppression of miR-455-5p or activation of DAG may be potential targets for T2DM therapy.

文摘(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 high entropy alloy(HEA)coatings were successfully fabricated on a substrate of Q235 steel by laser cladding technology.These(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 HEA coatings possess excellent properties, particularly corrosion resistance, which is clearly superior to that of some typical bulk HEA and common engineering alloys. In order to obtain appropriate laser cladding preparation process parameters, the effects of laser energy density on the microstructure, microhardness, and corrosion resistance of(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 HEA coating were closely studied. Results showed that as the laser energy density increases, precipitation of the Laves phase in(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 HEA coating gradually decreases, and diffusion of the Fe element in the substrate intensifies, affecting the integrity of the(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 HEA.This decreases the microhardness of(CoCrFeNi)95Nb5 HEA coatings. Moreover, the relative content of Cr2O3,Cr(OH)3,and Nb2O5 in the surface passive film of the coating decreases with increasing energy density, causing corrosion resistance to decrease. This study demonstrates the controllability of a high-performance HEA coating using laser cladding technology, which has significance for the laser cladding preparation of other CoCrFeNi-system HEA coatings.

文摘Background: Animal models of diet-induced obesity(DIO) are commonly used in medical research for mimicking human diseases. Conclusion: Male C57 BL/6 J mice on 9 weeks HFD providing 60 kcal energy from fat display impaired insulin sensitivity and chronic inflammation, thus making this DIO mouse model appropriate for studies of early stages of obesity-related pathology.

文摘The delayed fracture behavior of medium carbon high strength spring steel containing different amounts of boron (0. 000 5%, 0. 001 6 %) was studied using sustained load delayed fracture test. Further study of phase analysis indicates that most boron is in solid solution, and only a very small quantity of boron is in the M3 (C, B) phase.

文摘High yields of wheat are mainly obtained through a high level of nitrogen and irrigation supplementation. However, excessive nitrogen and irrigation supplication increase the risk of lodging. The main objectives of this work were to clarify the capacity of lodging resistance of wheat in response to nitrogen and irrigation,as well as to explore the effective ways of improving lodging resistance in a high-yield wheat cultivar. In this study, field experiments were conducted in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 growing seasons.A wheat cultivar Jimai 22(JM22),which is widely planted in the northern of Huang-Huai winter wheat region, was grown at Tai’an,Shandong Province, under three nitrogen rates and four irrigation treatments. The lodging risk was increased with increased nitrogen rate,as indicated by increasing lodging index(LI)and lodging rate across both growing seasons. With nitrogen increasing, the plant height, the basal internode length and the center of gravity height, which were positively correlated with LI,increased significantly. While the density of the basal 2nd internode(for culm and leaf sheath)and cell wall component contents, which were negatively correlated with LI,decreased conspicuous along with nitrogen increased.Increasing irrigation supplementation increased the 2nd internode culm wall thickness, breaking strength and leaf sheath density within limits which increased stem strength.Among the treatments, nitrogen application at a rate of 240 kg ha^(-1) and irrigation application at 600 m^(3)ha^(-1) at both the jointing and anthesis stages resulted in the highest yield and strongest stem.A suitable plant height ensures suffcient biomass for high yield, and higher stem stiffness, which was primarily attributed to thicker culm wall, greater density of the culm and leaf sheaths and higher cell wall component contents are the characteristics that should be taken into account to improving wheat lodging resistance.

文摘The corrosion resistance behavior of a highly dispersed MgO-MgAl2O4-ZrO2 composite refractory material is examined by testing with high-basicity and low-basicity RH(Ruhrstahl-Hereaeus)slags.The composite material exhibits greater resistance to the RH slags than the traditional MgO-Cr2O3 composite,MgO-ZrO2 composite, and MgO-MgAl2O4-ZrO2 composite. On the basis of the microstructural analysis and mechanisms calculations, the corrosion resistance behavior of the MgO-MgAl2O4-ZrO2 composite is attributable to its highly dispersed structure, which helps protect the high activity of ZrO2.When in contact with the slag,ZrO2 reacts with CaO to form the stable phase CaZrO3,which protects MgAl2O4 against corrosion, thereby enhancing the corrosion resistance of the composite.
文摘The newly-hatched nymphs of the small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus, including field and sensitive populations, were subjected to the high-temperature (35°C) treatment. The number of yeast-like endosymbiotes in SBPH reduced by 23.47%–34.23%, 57.86%–61.51% and 88.96%–90.71% after the high-temperature treatment for 1 d, 2 d, and 3 d, respectively. However, the size of yeast-like endosymbiotes was not obviously affected. Resistance of SBPH to three insecticides (imidacloprid, chlorpyrifos and fipronil) decreased with the increase of treatment time.
文摘Resistance spot welding (RSW) is the most common welding method in automotive engineering due to its low cost and high ability of automation. The mean absolute error of weld nugget size was 0.68 mm and the mean absolute error of expulsion limit was 1.10 kA.

文摘Female Wister rats aged 8 weeks were randomly divided into sham operation group, ovariectomized (OVX) control group, and 20VX groups fed with soy isoflavone crude extract supplementation. These findings showed that soy isoflavone crude extract supplementation can improve glucose tolerance and prevent high fat diet-induced insulin resistance in ovariectomized rats.

文摘In this paper,high-power LED with many integrated chips is used as thermal resistance analysis research object, and we do thermal resistance testing technology research on it. It provides an effective assessment method for the analysis of high power LED device design and engineering application.

文摘Foliar fungal diseases(rust and late leaf spot)incur large yield losses,in addition to the deterioration of fodder quality in groundnut worldwide.High oleic acid has emerged as a key market trait in groundnut,as it increases the shelf life of the produce/products in addition to providing health benefits to consumers.Marker-assisted backcrossing(MABC)is the most successful approach to introgressing or pyramiding one or more traits using traitlinked markers. We used MABC to improve three popular Indian cultivars(GJG 9,GG 20,and GJGHPS 1)for foliar disease resistance(FDR)and high oleic acid content.A total of 22 BC3F4 and 30 BC2F4 introgression lines(ILs)for FDR and 46 BC3F4 and 41 BC2F4 ILs for high oleic acid were developed.Recurrent parent genome analysis using the 58 K Axiom_Arachis array identified several lines showing upto 94%of genome recovery among second and third backcross progenies.Phenotyping of these ILs revealed FDR scores comparable to the resistant parent,GPBD 4,and ILs with high(~80%)oleic acid in addition to high genome recovery. These ILs provide further opportunities for pyramiding FDR and high oleic acid in all three genetic backgrounds as well as for conducting multi-location yield trials for further evaluation and release for cultivation in target regions of India.
文摘AIM:To investigate the effects of mitofusin-2(MFN2) on insulin sensitivity and its potential targets in the liver of rats fed with a high-fat diet(HFD).METHODS:Rats were fed with a control or HFD for 4 or 8 wk,and were then infected with a control or an MFN2 expressing adenovirus once a week for 3wk starting from the 9th wk.Blood glucose(BG),plasma insulin and insulin sensitivity of rats were determined at end of the 4th and 8th wk,and after treatment with different amounts of MFN2 expressing adenovirus(108,109 or 1010 vp/kg body weight).BG levels were measured by Accu-chek Active Meter.Plasma insulin levels were analyzed by using a Rat insulin enzymelinked immunosorbent assay kit.Insulin resistance was evaluated by measuring the glucose infusion rate(GIR) using a hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp technique. The expression or phosphorylation levels of MFN2 and essential molecules in the insulin signaling pathway, such as insulin receptor(INSR),insulin receptor substrate 2(IRS2),phosphoinositide-3-kinase(PI3K),protein kinase beta(AKT2) and glucose transporter type 2(GLUT2) was assayed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western-blotting.RESULTS:After the end of 8wk,the body weight of rats receiving the normal control diet(ND) and the HFD was not significantly different(P>0.05).Compared with the ND group,GIR in the HFD group was significantly decreased(P<0.01),while the levels of BG,triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC) and insulin in the HFD group were significantly higher than those in the ND group(P<0.05).Expression of MFN2 mRNA and protein in liver of rats was significantly downregulated in the HFD group(P<0.01) after 8 wk of HFD feeding. The expression of INSR,IRS2 and GLUT2 were down-regulated markedly(P<0.01).Although there were no changes in PI3K-P85 and AKT2 expression, their phosphorylation levels were decreased significantly(P<0.01).After intervention with MFN2 expressing adenovirus for 3wk,the expression of MFN2 mRNA and protein levels were up-regulated(P<0.01).There was no difference in body weight of rats between the groups. The levels of BG,TG,TC and insulin in rats were lower than those in the Ad group(P<0.05),but GIR in rats infected with Ad-MFN2 was significantly increased(P<0.01),compared with the Ad group. The expression of INSR,IRS2 and GLUT2 was increased, while phosphorylation levels of PI3K-P85 and AKT2 were increased(P<0.01),compared with the Ad group.CONCLUSION:HFDs induce insulin resistance, and this can be reversed by MFN2 over-expression targeting the insulin signaling pathway.

文摘CoCrCuFeNi–TiO was prepared by arc melting of the pure elements and Ti_2CO powder under an Ar atmosphere. However, as the TiO content increases further, a corresponding decrease is observed in the oxidation resistance.
文摘To further improve the oxidation-resistance of materials and reduce the cost of grid plates in grate-kiln, a new kind of heat-resistant grid plate was developed. The microstructure of this grid plate with a life more than 18 months was studied by XRD, SEM and EDS techniques. The results show that high hardness, high intensity and good impact property make the new kind of heat-resistant grid plate and its oxide film have a higher resistance to deformation and abrasion at 900-1000℃ Besides, small grain size is beneficial to form a complete protective oxide film. The oxide film composed of SiO2 layer, Cr2O3 layer and Fe2O3 layer is rather thin and bonds closely with the backing. The forming of the chemical stable nickel-rich layer increases the density of Cr2O3 layer.

文摘Organic epoxy matrices have been widely used in the FRP reinforcing technique, but they have serious disadvantages of poor high-temperature resistance. Fire-resistance performance of inorganic adhesive can meet the requirements of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) strengthened RC structures.

文摘Recently, magnesium and its alloys have attracted more and more attention as promising implant materials due to their excellent properties such as good biocompatibility,biodegradation,non-toxicity and comparable mechanical properties with natural bone. They can be gradually degraded and absorbed so as to avoid the second surgery for implants removal after the tissues are healed completely. In addition, they are also able to prevent the stress shielding effect in human body environment because of the density, elastic modulus and yield strength of magnesium closer to the bone.Unfortunately, the high corrosion rate which causes early mechanical failure of the implants in physiological environment limits the widespread use of magnesium alloys for clinical application in biology. And the high corrosion process usually causes huge hydrogen evolution and alkalinization, resulting in problems against the implants as well as the surrounding tissues. In order to enhance the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys,in this study, the ZEK100 magnesium alloy was pre-deformed with a highpressure torsion(HPT)process and then fabricated hydroxyapatite(HA)coatings with different contents of Mg(OH)2 nanopowder via hydrothermal method. The specimens were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).At the same time, prior and after the HPT procedure, the metallography, microhardness and tensile tests of specimens were characterized.Meanwhile, the corrosion behavior of the specimens was evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and hydrogen evolution tests. And the interface bonding strength of the HA coating on the magnesium alloy substrate was evaluated by a tape adhesion test/scratch test. Results showed that HPT processing refined the grain size and introduced a great number of twins, resulting in the enhancement of microhardness and Young’s modulus of ZEK100 magnesium alloy, but hardness values at the edge were higher than those at the center due to the uneven shear strain. At the same conditions, the HA coating on HPT-ZEK was denser, thicker than that on ZEK sample and the crystal sizes of HA were smaller on HPT-ZEK.These were attributed to fine, uniform distributed secondary phases and lots of fine grains, twins, grain boundaries in HPT-ZEK substrates which can provide more nucleation sites for the HA crystal. In terms of the amount of Mg(OH)2 nanopowder,Mg(OH)2 nanopowder significantly influenced the microstructure and thickness of the HA coating. And at a 0.3 mg/mL content of Mg(OH)2 nanopowder, there was the densest, thickest HA coating on magnesium alloys, and the crystal size of HA was minimum.Specifically, the HA coating thickness on ZEK-03(0.3 mg/mL Mg(OH)2 nanopowder)was 1.8 times of that on ZEK-00(0 mg/mL Mg(OH)2 nanopowder),while the HA coating thickness on HPT-03 was 2.6 times of that on ZEK-00.And the adhesion strength of HA coating on HPT-03 substrate was better than that on ZEK-03.In addition,HPT technology and surface modification by HA coating simultaneously increased the corrosion resistance of ZEK100 magnesium alloy and the corrosion of HPT-ZEK samples occurred in a more uniform manner, while it was pitting on the surface of ZEK100 magnesium alloy. Therefore, there was the best corrosion resistance on HPT-03 sample, which could promote the application of magnesium alloys in biomedical fields.

文摘The influence of zirconium on the resistance to high temperature softening of 6082 Al-Mg-Si alloys has been researched. The value of resistivity is lower for 6082 alloys with Zr compared with 6082 alloys without Zr; this is explained in terms of the role of Zr in the 6082 alloys.
