Detecting feature points on the human body in video frames is a key step for tracking human movements. There have been methods developed that leverage models of human pose and classification of pixels of the body image. Yet, occlusion and robustness are still open challenges. In this paper, we present an automatic, model-free feature point detection and action tracking method using a time-of-flight camera. Our method automatically detects feature points for movement abstraction. To overcome errors caused by miss-detection and occlusion, a refinement method is devised that uses the trajectory of the feature points to correct the erroneous detections. Experiments were conducted using videos acquired with a Microsoft Kinect camera and a publicly available video set and comparisons were conducted with the state-of-the-art methods. The results demonstrated that our proposed method delivered improved and reliable performance with an average accuracy in the range of 90 %.The trajectorybased refinement also demonstrated satisfactory effectiveness that recovers the detection with a success rate of 93.7 %. We consider the psychophysical experiments in which the test subject’s binary reaction is determined by the prescribed exposure duration to a stimulus and a random variable subjective threshold. For example, when a subject is exposed to a millimeter wave beam for a prescribed duration, the occurrence of flight action is binary (yes or no). In experiments, in addition to the binary outcome, the actuation time of flight action is also recorded if it occurs;the delay from the initiation time to the actuation time of flight action is the human reaction time, which is not measurable. In this study, we model the random subjective threshold as a Weibull distribution and formulate an inference method for estimating the human reaction time, from data of prescribed exposure durations, binary outcomes and actuation times of flight action collected in a sequence of tests. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the inference of human reaction time based on the Weibull distribution converges to the correct value even when the underlying true model deviates from the inference model. This robustness of the inference method makes it applicable to real experimental data where the underlying true model is unknown. 展开更多

With the advancement of technology and the increase in user demands, gesture recognition played a pivotal role in the field of human-computer interaction. Among various sensing devices, Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors were widely applied due to their low cost. This paper explored the implementation of a human hand posture recognition system using ToF sensors and residual neural networks. Firstly, this paper reviewed the typical applications of human hand recognition. Secondly, this paper designed a hand gesture recognition system using a ToF sensor VL53L5. Subsequently, data preprocessing was conducted, followed by training the constructed residual neural network. Then, the recognition results were analyzed, indicating that gesture recognition based on the residual neural network achieved an accuracy of 98.5% in a 5-class classification scenario. Finally, the paper discussed existing issues and future research directions. 展开更多

诺如病毒是世界急性胃肠炎的重要病原之一。为加强其控制,通过序列比对设计出针对GGⅡ型诺如病毒保守序列的特异性引物与探针,建立了TaqMan Real-time RT-PCR方法。结果显示,此方法对诺如病毒核酸检测高度特异,与轮状病毒、腺病毒... 诺如病毒是世界急性胃肠炎的重要病原之一。为加强其控制,通过序列比对设计出针对GGⅡ型诺如病毒保守序列的特异性引物与探针,建立了TaqMan Real-time RT-PCR方法。结果显示,此方法对诺如病毒核酸检测高度特异,与轮状病毒、腺病毒、甲型肝炎病毒等无交叉反应,最低检出限可达10^2拷贝,线性范围为100~100拷贝,标准曲线的相关系数为-1.00。针对标准品质粒检测的批内实验变异系数为0.28%~1.63%(n=6)、批间实验为0.28%~1.05%(n=3),对同一样品分6次进行RNA提取和逆转录,其变异系数为3增8%。对212份临床腹泻标本分别用常规RT-PCR和本文建立的TaqMan Real-time PCR进行检测,发现后者检出率略高于前者。这些结果提示此研究建立的诺如病毒的TaqMan Real-time RT-PCR检测方法可用于临床腹泻粪便标本的检测。 展开更多

目的:利用转录介导的扩增技术(transcription mediated amplification,TMA)扩增HIV RNA,探讨TMA技术扩增HIV RNA的敏感性及其与实时荧光定量反转录聚合酶链反应的比较。方法:利用Taq Man探针、特异性引物、鼠白血病反转录酶、T7-RNA聚... 目的:利用转录介导的扩增技术(transcription mediated amplification,TMA)扩增HIV RNA,探讨TMA技术扩增HIV RNA的敏感性及其与实时荧光定量反转录聚合酶链反应的比较。方法:利用Taq Man探针、特异性引物、鼠白血病反转录酶、T7-RNA聚合酶及PCR底物等建立TMA扩增体系。通过扩增一组10倍梯度稀释的HIV RNA转录标准品,评价TMA体系的灵敏性。收集60例HIV感染患者的血浆,同时采用TMA试剂与Cobas Amplicor HIV-1 Monitor 1.5版试剂进行检测,比较两种方法的阳性检出率,并利用线性回归和Bland-Altman法分析两种技术的相关性和一致性。结果:成功建立了TMA扩增体系,这种技术可以检测低至10 copies/m L的HIV转录标准品。60份HIV感染者血浆样本中,TMA及Cobas均检测到阳性46份,均阴性12份,TMA检测阴性而Cobas检测阳性样本2份,检测一致率为96.7%。两种技术阳性检出率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。对其中46份TMA检测和Cobas检测均有定量结果的血浆进行线性回归分析,两种技术有非常好的相关性(r=0.997,P<0.001)。Bland-Altman分析显示两种检测方法定量Lg差值平均值为0.02,44份(95.7%)样本在95%的一致性界限内。结论:TMA技术具有高灵敏性潜能。TMA与real-time RT-PCR检测血浆中HIV RNA具有非常好的相关性与一致性。 展开更多

目的比较IVF3PN、IVF2PN、ICSI3PN和ICSI2PN胚胎的卵裂模式和胚胎动力学参数的差异。方法回顾性分析2017年7月至2018年6月在我院生殖中心就诊经时差胚胎监测(Time-lapse)培养箱培养的393个胚胎发育动力学参数,根据受精结局分为4组:IVF3P... 目的比较IVF3PN、IVF2PN、ICSI3PN和ICSI2PN胚胎的卵裂模式和胚胎动力学参数的差异。方法回顾性分析2017年7月至2018年6月在我院生殖中心就诊经时差胚胎监测(Time-lapse)培养箱培养的393个胚胎发育动力学参数,根据受精结局分为4组:IVF3PN组(n=132)、IVF2PN组(n=150)、ICSI3PN组(n=11)和ICSI2PN组(n=100),分析比较各组胚胎的卵裂模式和原核出现时间、原核消失时间、第一次卵裂时间、t4、t3-t5等胚胎动力学参数。结果IVF3PN组胚胎第一次卵裂模式异常率(100%)显著高于IVF2PN组胚胎(4.67%)、ICSI3PN组胚胎(18.18%)和ICSI2PN组胚胎(5.00%)(P<0.001),而ICSI3PN组、ICSI2PN组和IVF2PN组胚胎之间的第一次卵裂模式异常率无显著差异(P>0.05)。IVF3PN组胚胎原核消失时间[(25.76±1.33)h]显著长于IVF2PN组[(21.43±1.76)h]、ICSI3PN组[(21.86±1.63)h]和ICSI2PN组[(20.14±1.78)h](P<0.05),IVF3PN胚胎第一次卵裂时间亦显著长于其余3组[(27.06±1.59)hvs.(22.64±1.38)h、(22.32±1.56)h、(22.78±1.66)h](P<0.05);ICSI3PN组、ICSI2PN组和IVF2PN组胚胎之间的原核消失时间和第一次卵裂时间均无显著差异(P>0.05)。结论IVF3PN胚胎与IVF2PN、ICSI3PN和ICSI2PN胚胎的卵裂模式和原核消失时间、第一次卵裂时间等动力学参数不同。 展开更多

Growth dynamics of individual clones of normal human keratinocytes: observations and theoretical considerations 被引量:1

The life histories of 429 individual epidermal keratinocyte clones picked at random were studied. Individual basal keratinocytes were derived from asynchronous rapidly proliferating subconfluent cultures propagated in either a low calcium (0.1mM) or a high calcium (2mM) serum-free medium. Single-celled clones were isolated by seeding trypsin-EDTA dissociated cells into a Petri dish containing cloning chips. Chips with only one cell per chip were transferred into dishes containing either low calcium or high calcium growth factor replete serum-free medium. Clone formation was monitored microscopically and the number of cells in each colony tallied at least twice daily for further analysis. A total of 369 clones were established from seven different neonatal foreskin cell strains (A-F), and 60 clones were derived from one adult human skin cell strain (G). During a five-day culture interval, among 32 clones of strain A, 83% divided at least once, 50% divided once in 24 hours, 86% divided at least three times within three days, and more than 50% divided at least four to five times in five days. Of 231 clones amongst the other five cell strains (B-F), an average of 63% (±12 S,E) divided more than three times in an eight day period, the remainder divided either once, twice or not at all. Of the 106 clones of strain G, reared in high calcium serum-free medium, 67% divided more than three times in a six-day period, and 55% divided five or more times in 6 days. Clones derived from adult skin strain H had a lower clone forming potential with 70% dividing at least once in seven days, and only 30% dividing three or more times. By contrast, the average generation time (AvGT) for second and third passage keratinocytes derived from neonatal foreskin cultures was 24 hrs. Detailed dendrograms were constructed for many of the proliferating clones. The majority of clones expressed a synblastic division pattern with every cell dividing at least once per day. A fraction of clones either exceeded this circadian division rate or displayed a biphasic division pattern with all cells initially dividing once a day and then abruptly slowing to once every other day or to an intermediate rate. A minority of clones was committed to a few terminal divisions. The division patterns of the non-synblastic clones fit an alternating bifurcated branching mode of clonal expansion expressed by the Fibonacci sequence for numbers of accumulated cells per clone per day. These results were analyzed in terms of deterministic, probabilistic and a limit cycle oscillator models of cell division timing. 展开更多

In this study, the 54-year (1950 to 2003) monthly runoff series from February, April, August, and November, as well as the annual runoff series, measured at both Huayuankou and Lijin hydrological stations were chosen as representative data, and the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) was applied to analyze the impacts of human activities on the runoff regime of the middle and lower Yellow River. A point of change in 1970 was first determined, and the observed series before 1970 were considered natural runoff while those after 1970 were restored according to linear trends. Then, the CWT was applied to both the observed and restored runoff series to reveal their variations at multi-temporal scales, including the five temporal ranges of 1-4, 6-8, 9-12, 16-22, and 22-30 years, and the trend at the temporal scale of 54 years. These analysis results are compared and discussed in detail. In conclusion, because of the impacts of human activities, there have been significant changes in the runoff regime in the middle and lower Yellow River since 1970. The decaying tendency of annual runoff has become more pronounced, and the inner-annual distribution of runoff has changed, but human activities have had little impact on the periodic characteristics of runoff. 展开更多

针对人机交互、医疗康复等领域存在的人体姿态分析与评估问题,本文提出了一种基于Transformer的三维人体姿态估计及其动作达成度评估方法。首先,本文定义了人体姿态的关键点及关节角,并在深度位姿估计网络(DPEN)的基础上,提出并构建了... 针对人机交互、医疗康复等领域存在的人体姿态分析与评估问题,本文提出了一种基于Transformer的三维人体姿态估计及其动作达成度评估方法。首先,本文定义了人体姿态的关键点及关节角,并在深度位姿估计网络(DPEN)的基础上,提出并构建了一个基于Transformer的三维人体姿态估计模型(TPEM),Transformer的引入能够更好的提取人体姿态的长时序特征;其次,利用TPEM模型对三维人体姿态估计结果,设计了基于加权3D关节角的动态时间规整算法,在时序上对不同人物同一动作的姿态进行姿态关键帧的规整匹配,并据此提出了动作达成度评估方法,用于给出动作的达成度分数;最后,通过在不同数据集上进行实验验证,TPEM在Human3.6 M数据集上实现了平均关节点误差为37.3 mm,而基于加权3D关节角的动态时间规整算法在Fit3D数据集上的平均误差帧数为5.08,展现了本文所提方法在三维人体姿态估计与动作达成度评估方面的可行性和有效性。 展开更多

AIM To evaluate alterations of memory B cell subpopulations during a 48-wk period in human immunodeficiency virus type 1(HIV-1) patients. METHODS Forty-one antiretroviral na?ve and 41 treated HIV-1 patients matched for age and duration of HIV infection were recruited. All clinical, epidemiological and laboratory data were recorded or measured. The different B cell subsets were characterized according to their surface markers: Total B cells(CD19^+), memory B cells(CD19^+CD27^+, BMCs), resting BMCs(CD19^+CD27^+CD21^(high), RM), exhausted BMCs(CD19^+CD21^(low)CD27-, EM), IgM memory B(CD19^+CD27^+IgM^(high)), isotype-switched BMCs(CD19^+CD27^+IgM-, ITS) and activated BMCs(CD19^+CD21^(low+)CD27^+, AM) at baseline on week 4 and week 48.RESULTS Mean counts of BMCs were higher in treated patients. There was a marginal upward trend of IgM memory B cell proportions which differed significantly in the treated group(overall trend, P = 0.004). ITS BMC increased over time significantly in all patients. Naive patients had of ^(low)er levels of EM B cells compared to treated, with a downward trend, irrespectively of ^(high)ly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART) intake. Severe impairment of EM B cells was recorded to both treated(P = 0.024) and naive(P = 0.023) and patients. Higher proportions of RM cells were noted in HAART group, which differed significantly on week 4^(th)(P = 0.017) and 48th(P = 0.03). Higher levels of AM were preserved in HAART naive group during the whole study period(week 4: P = 0.018 and 48: P = 0.035). HIV-RNA viremia strongly correlated with AM B cells(r = 0.54, P = 0.01) and moderately with RM cells(r =-0.45, P = 0.026) at baseline.CONCLUSION HIV disrupts memory B cell subpopulations leading to impaired immunologic memory over time. BMC, RM, EM and ITS BMC were higher in patients under HAART. Activated BMCs(AM) were higher in patients without HAART. Viremia correlated with AM and RM. Significant depletion was recorded in EM B cells irrespectively of HAART intake. Perturbations in BMC-populations are not fully restored by antiretrovirals. 展开更多

“996”还是“2.5”?——闲暇时间影响经济增长的跨国实证研究

近年来,社会上掀起了“996工作制”和“2.5天小长假”的激烈讨论。为了避免价值判断,文章在文献梳理和理论演绎的基础上,利用41个较大规模国家的面板数据,检验了闲暇数量和质量对经济增长的影响,按经济发展水平和文化地理特征分别对样... 近年来,社会上掀起了“996工作制”和“2.5天小长假”的激烈讨论。为了避免价值判断,文章在文献梳理和理论演绎的基础上,利用41个较大规模国家的面板数据,检验了闲暇数量和质量对经济增长的影响,按经济发展水平和文化地理特征分别对样本国家分组并进行异质性分析。研究结果显示:闲暇时间与经济增长之间存在一定的非线性特征,闲暇时间比例在0.6608至0.6855区间下经济增长率明显较高;整体而言,人力资本对闲暇时间与经济增长的关系存在显著的正向调节作用,数量闲暇一旦与人力资本相结合(即质量闲暇)很可能促进经济增长。研究结果对我国的政策含义是:既不“996”也不“2.5”,保持闲暇时间比例不变,减少工作时间比例而增加教育时间比例,既能提升人力资本直接推动经济增长,又能通过人力资本改善闲暇质量从而间接推动经济增长。 展开更多

Factors Determining the Detection Time to Flavor in Healthy Adults

This study analyzed the factors responsible for determining the flavor detection time for chewed semi-solid foods. Thirteen healthy young adults (eight males and five females) were asked to chew gummy candies with five different fruit flavors (i.e., apple, grape, orange, pear, and strawberry) in a random order. The detection time to flavor was measured using an electromyography-based system, which was recently developed by the authors. Briefly, each participant was recorded with surface masseter electromyograms on both sides to determine the start of chewing. Each participant was asked to press a button as soon as possible with his/her preferred hand after detecting the flavor. The time elapsed between the start of chewing and the button press was measured. Two taste components, sugars and organic acids, of the gummy candies were chemically analyzed, and two major sugars and organic acid were individually detected. The odor intensity was also analyzed for the gummy candies. The average detection time significantly differed among the five gummy candies and among the participants. Simple regression analyses revealed that the intensity of the odors was significantly associated with the average time intervals, but the amounts of the two major sugars and the organic acids were not. The analysis yielded the following equation for the regression estimation:?? (y = the time interval, x = the intensity of odors). 目的了解艾滋病病毒(HIV)阳性男男性行为者(MSM)的社会行为特征,分析首次同性性行为到阳性时间的影响因素。方法收集2007—2022年绵阳市疾病预防控制中心新确证并实施首次流行病学调查的阳性MSM资料,阳性时间的影响因素分析采用χ^(2)... 目的了解艾滋病病毒(HIV)阳性男男性行为者(MSM)的社会行为特征,分析首次同性性行为到阳性时间的影响因素。方法收集2007—2022年绵阳市疾病预防控制中心新确证并实施首次流行病学调查的阳性MSM资料,阳性时间的影响因素分析采用χ^(2)检验和Logistics回归模型。结果共收集有效资料457份,自认性取向成因属先天因素63.95%、后天因素36.05%,首次同性性行为性伴来源互联网60.54%、朋友等39.46%。首次同性性行为年龄平均23.95岁,发生阶段为在校学生44.64%、工作后55.36%。53.75%使用过rush poppers。阳性时间平均5.25年。多因素分析结果,职业学生/商业服务/无业(OR=1.868)、首次同性性行为发生在在校学生阶段(OR=1.555)者阳性时间短的可能更大,婚姻状况在婚及其他(OR=0.566)、固定性伴数≥3人(OR=0.553)、偶遇性伴数≥5人(OR=0.457)者阳性时间短的可能更小。结论阳性MSM多自认其性取向属先天因素,首次同性性行为的性伴来源互联网、发生在工作后和使用新型毒品较为普遍。阳性时间与婚姻状况、首次同性性行为发生阶段及性伴数量相关联。要针对性强化健康教育和行为干预。 展开更多

新就业形态下,劳动力工作时间配置自主性和灵活性增强。从劳动者技能积累和工作收入维度来考量,可将工作时间性质分为突破型、补充型、低维持型和耗竭型。运用心理账户和人力资本产权理论,深入探讨技能对城市劳动力工作时间配置决策机... 新就业形态下,劳动力工作时间配置自主性和灵活性增强。从劳动者技能积累和工作收入维度来考量,可将工作时间性质分为突破型、补充型、低维持型和耗竭型。运用心理账户和人力资本产权理论,深入探讨技能对城市劳动力工作时间配置决策机制。研究表明,劳动力技能人力资本具有人格化财产特性,使其在技能人力资本产权交易过程中产生强烈控制权意识,导致劳动力决策时会因技能的不同利益目标而分别形成情感型和经济型心理账户。情感账户下,技能人力资本控制权意识越强,劳动力越倾向于选择突破型工作时间和补充型工作时间;经济账户下,技能人力资本控制权意识越强,劳动力越倾向于选择低维持型工作时间和突破型工作时间。因此,应高度重视劳动力的工作流动问题,提升劳动者多维技能投资意识,健全和完善“普惠式”职业技能培训长效机制,以促进劳动者充分就业。 展开更多

Unlike acceleration, velocity, and displacement, the time derivative ofacceleration (TDoA) of ground motion has not been extensively studied. In this paper, the basiccharacteristics of TDoA are evaluated based on records from the 1999 Chi-Chi, earthquake (Mw 7.6)and one of its aftershocks (Mw 6.2). It is found that the maximum TDoA at a free-field station wasover 31,200 cm/s3 (31.8 g/s); and the duration of 'strong' TDoA, between the first and the last timepoints exceeding 2,000 cm/s3 (2 g/s), was almost one minute near the epicenter area. Since groundTDoA sensors are not commonly available, the time series are calculated by direct numericaldifferentiation of acceleration time series. Relative error analysis shows that the error isnon-transitive and total error is within 4%. The density function of TDoA amplitude, frequencycontent and spatial distribution of peak ground jerk (PGJ) are evaluated. The study also includesexamination of some TDoA responses from a seven-story building and comparison of ground TDoA withthe limit TDoA used in the transportation industry for ride comfort. Some potential impacts of TDoAon humans have also been reviewed. 展开更多
