During the excavations of the transportation and drainage tunnels, more than 460 rockburst events were recorded in the transportation tunnel and 110 in the drainage tunnel, which has a serious and negative influence on the tunnels’ construction and the safety of staff and equipment. In the paper, the characters of rockburst patterns are analyzed for the transportation and drainage tunnels. The results are illustrated as follow: (1) Most of intensive rockbursts occur in the layer T2b, and continuous occurrences of rockbursts are more frequently observed than those in other layers. (2) The critical overburden depth of rockburst in the transportation tunnel is 600 m, and the length of the continuous occurrence section of rockburst is smaller than 25 m. The damaged depth of the rockburst has the tendency to increase with the increasing overburden depth, and the maximum damaged depth is over 3.5 m. (3) From east to west (west to east) in Jinping Ⅱ hydropower station, the rockburst usually takes place in the right (left) side of tunnel working face, and then the left (right) or roof of the tunnel. The total length of the continuous occurrence section of rockburst is 57.4%–62.2% of the overall rockburst length, followed by the rockbursts of flake-splitting type and other types. (4) Compared with the transportation tunnel, the intensity of rockburst in the drainage tunnel is higher while the length of the continuous occurrence section of rockburst is smaller. The rockburst section with length less than 10 m and depth of 1 m mainly occurs in the layer at a depth of 1 800–2 000 m. The influences of opening geometry and excavation method on the characteristics of the adjacent zone are great, but the influence of the stress among the tunnel group induced by excavation is relatively low.展开更多

Methods: 174 HIV/AIDS patients registered in the local center for disease control and prevention(CDC) participated this study from April to June in 2006. Questionnaire,CD4 count and thoracic roentgenogram were performed for all participants. Results: In this study, response rate of questionnaires was 83.65%. The majority of these participants had a different degree of immunodeficiency that accounted for 93.64%. Female patients had a higher CD4 count than that of males. The total positive rate of PPD was 38.15%. Analysis of single factor in our study indicated that CD4 count, previous tubereulosis history, tuberculosis contact history and thoracic roentgenogram manifestation of patients were related to their PPD diameters. Further analysis of multiple factors also supports the previous conclusion that CD4 count and previous tuberculosis history of patients were risk factors in the PPD test. Conclusion: The PPD test of HIV/AIDS patients could be affected by several factors. For persons infected with HIV, the confirmation of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) should be considered the combination effect of previous MTB infection and body cellular immune function.展开更多

Thus, quantitative analysis of outdoor thermal comfort and discussions on influential factors seem very necessary to achieve the climate-conscious urban design. Therefore,an outdoor thermal comfort questionnaire survey and the simultaneous field measurement were conducted in six different places during the hot and humid summertime in Shenzhen. The results show that the overall weather conditions during the investigation can be expressed with high temperature and high humidity with strong solar radiation. The micro-meteorological parameters of six test sites vary greatly due to their different regional spatial layouts.Moderate range of air temperature( Ta) is between 28 to 30 ℃ while that of relative humidity( RH) mainly concentrates in 60%-70% with the thermal sensation votes. The main influential factors impacting outdoor thermal comfort are obtained and Tahas the greatest effect. The overall thermal comfortable ranges in Shenzhen are expressed by the range of 28. 14-32. 83 ℃ of PET and 24. 74-30. 45 ℃ of SET*. With the correlation analysis between the characteristic parameters of regional spatial layout and thermal climate and thermal comfort,it reveals that increasing the coverage ratio of water and green space( S) helps lower Taand increase RH. The global solar radiation( G) has a significant negative correlation with the height of buildings( H) and a positive correlation with sky view factor( SVF). Overall, reasonable configuration of the regional spatial layout contributes to providing a thermal comfortable environment.展开更多

Granular materials exhibit complicated mechanical behaviors, which are affected significantly by the irregular shape of particles. Currently, the discrete element method (DEM) has been accepted as an effective approach to investigate the mechanical behaviors of granular materials. However, there are scarce simulations based on DEM in literatures considering the irregularity of particle shape. A new method is proposed to simulate individual real particle with irregular shape using clump constituted by overlapping spheres. First, the geometric model of real particle with surface nodes and inner nodes is established through digitally processing the computerized tomography (CT) scanning data. Second, a clump consisting of spheres is generated to simulate the real particle using a minimum distance criterion. The criterion is implemented by tree optimization algorithm. Influential factors are also introduced to balance the model accuracy and computing cost. Effects of the influential factors, including the density of geometric grid and the minimum distance, on simulations are discussed. Results show that this new method is simpler and more efficient than the previous methods in terms of the model accuracy and computing cost.展开更多

In this study, the status of residual film and influential factors were investigated using the methods of farm survey in combination with questionnaires and quadrat sampling at a large number of field sites in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The results showed that the amount of film utilization increased largely and reached to 1.8×10~5 t in 2013. Similarly, the mulching area also substantially increased in recent decades, and reached to 2.7×10~5 ha in the same year. According to the current survey, 60.7% of the sites presented a greater mulch residue than the national film residue standard(75 kg ha^(–1)), and the maximum residual amount reached 502.2 kg ha^(–1) in Turpan, Xinjiang. The film thickness, the mulching time and the crop type all influenced mulch residue. The thickness of the film had significantly negative correlation with the amount of residual film(P0.05), while the mulching years had significantly positive correlation with it(P0.05). The total amount of residual film in Xinjiang was 3.43×105 t in 2011, which accounted for 15.3% of the cumulative dosage of mulching. Among all the crops, the cotton fields had the largest residual amount of mulch film(158.4 kg ha^(–1)), and also the largest contribution(2.6×10~5 tons) to the total amount of residual film in Xinjiang.展开更多

A survey was undertaken on energy consumption of traditional natural villages by taking Anji Ligeng village for an example. This paper firstly studied rural buildings, rural family structure, occupants’ activity and the usage of household appliances in the form of a questionnaire. Then, the household energy resource structure and energy consumption structure were analyzed and compared with other surveys. The results show that, the electric energy consumption was 6 kWh/(m2•a), which was far less than urban residential household. In rural household energy resource structure, the proportion of non-commercial energy resource was higher than commercial energy resource. Firewood accounted for 83%, electricity for 12%, LPG for 3% and solar energy for 2%. In building energy consumption structure, cooking and hot water took up 33%, appliances 31%, lighting 20%, heating 12%, cooling 4%. In all influential factors, frequently used area, number of air conditioner per household and building function were obviously correlated with energy consumption;income, building shape factor and window to wall area ratio had no correlation with energy consumption in the low energy consumption area.展开更多

The influences of opening geometry and excavation method on the characteristics of the adjacent zone are great, but the influence of the stress among the tunnel group induced by excavation is relatively low.

文摘Objective: To understand the reactivity of purified protein derivative skin test(PPD test) in HIV-infected persons and to determine the influential factors associated with PPD. For persons infected with HIV, the confirmation of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) should be considered the combination effect of previous MTB infection and body cellular immune function.

文摘The impact of greenization on the marginal utility of the intensity of carbon emissions in China and factors influ-encing this relationship are explored in this study.China’s level of greenization is evaluated by using an index system developed based on the comprehensive index method. The intensity of carbon emissions is determined by using the standards for the coefficients of conversion of coal equivalent and coefficients of carbon emission. The impact of greenization on the marginal utility of the intensity of carbon emissions is then evaluated by using an elastic formula and factors affecting this relationship are verified by regression analysis. The results are as fol-lows:(1)China’s level of greenization has exhibited a trend of constant increase. The intensity of carbon emissions has followed a continual downward trend while the impact of greenization on the marginal utility of the intensity of these emissions has been declining.(2)Urbanization as well as scientific and technological developments have slowed the reduction in the marginal utility of the intensity of carbon emissions, whereas the structure of energy consumption has expedited it under the diminishing impact of greenization. The standard of living of the popu-lation,intensity of environmental regulation, and environmental quality have had different influences under dif-ferent conditions.
文摘With the rapid development of the global economy and the increasingly frequent exchanges between different cultures, the internal and external trade of various countries is faced with new opportunities and challenges.Trademark translation is not only the transformation and transition of languages, but also the translation of many cultural images. The main obstacle in trademark translation is the cultural cognitive difference caused by languages, nationality, and environment. These cultural differences bring some difficulties to trademark translation.Based on the cross-cultural awareness, this thesis discusses the cultural factors in the translation of trademarks, and on this basis, summarizes the principles to be followed in the translation of cross-cultural trademarks, and finally puts forward the corresponding translation strategies.

文摘Outdoor thermal comfort has always been a major issue due to its irreplaceable role in maintaining good health and energy use. Overall, reasonable configuration of the regional spatial layout contributes to providing a thermal comfortable environment.

文摘Granular materials are ubiquitous in nature and important in various applications such as road and railway engineering. Results show that this new method is simpler and more efficient than the previous methods in terms of the model accuracy and computing cost.

文摘Pollution of residual plastic film in arable lands is a severe problem in China. Among all the crops, the cotton fields had the largest residual amount of mulch film(158.4 kg ha^(–1)), and also the largest contribution(2.6×10~5 tons) to the total amount of residual film in Xinjiang.
文摘Traditional agriculture is in the direction of increasing integration of the primary industry, secondary industry, and tertiary industry in Zhejiang province. In all influential factors, frequently used area, number of air conditioner per household and building function were obviously correlated with energy consumption;income, building shape factor and window to wall area ratio had no correlation with energy consumption in the low energy consumption area.
文摘Background Soil-transmitted helminths(STHs)were previously endemic in Shandong Province,China. This study aimed to analyze the STHs prevalence trend and the natural, social, and human cognitive and behavioural factors infuencing the discrepancies between high and low infection levels from 2016 to 2020 in Shandong Province in eastern China. Methods STHs surveillance data of Shandong Province from 2016 to 2020 were obtained from China Information Management System for Prevention and Control of Parasitic Diseases.STHs infections were detected by modifed Kato–Katz method.Comprehensive information on the natural and social factors,STHs-related knowledge and behaviours were collected through questionnaire surveys.Retrospective spatial scan analysis was performed using SaTScan v10.1 to evaluate any identifed spatial clusters of STHs infection for statistical signifcance and Bayes discriminant analysis was used to discriminate the high or low infection groups of the villages. Results In total,72,160 participants were involved in our survey from 2016 to 2020.The overall STHs prevalence rate was 1.13%,with the eastern region of Shandong Province having the highest rate(2.02%).The predominant species was T.trichiura, with the prevalence rate of 0.99%and the≥70-year age group possessed the highest rate of 2.21%.The STHs prevalence rate showed an annual linear downward trend from 2016 to 2020(χ_(trend)^(2) =127.600,P<0.001).Respondents aged≥60 years had the lowest awareness level of STHs-related prevention knowledge(all P<0.05),and were the most likely to adopt the practice of fertilizing with fresh stool(χ^(2)=28.354,P<0.001).Furthermore,the southern region demonstrated the highest temperature and rainfall level and the lowest GNP and annual net income per capita(all P<0.05).Conclusions There is a remarkable declining in STHs prevalence in Shandong Province from 2016 to 2020.However,the prevalence rates of STHs especially T.trichiura in the southern and eastern regions were still high, and the elderly were more susceptible to be infected with STHs owning to their low awareness level of STHS-related prevention knowledge and high adoption rate of dangerous production and living behaviours.Integrated approaches of health education, environment improvement and behaviour change should be strengthened to obtain a further reduction of STHs prevalence in China.
