Evaluation of Recreation Service Quality of Slow Traffic Space in Urban Parks Based on IPA-Space Syntax Model

To build an“ecological and livable city”,it is important to figure out the relationship between human activity and urban park space and create a high-quality urban park through the integration of“people”and“park”.Taking Longhu Park in Huainan Province as an example,the study quantitatively analyzed and evaluated the characteristics and service quality of slow traffic space using importance-performance analysis(IPA)and space syntax,clarified the key indexes and areas to be optimized,and put forward corresponding design countermeasures and suggestions in combination with human activity demand.The results suggest that:①The mean performance of park recreation service quality is 3.63,less than the mean importance(3.95).Tourists pay special attention to the safety and convenience of slow traffic space,and the diversity and identiability of site functions is the focus“to be improved”.②The accessibility of Longhu Park shows a strong irregular shape in the southwest.The dead-end roads in the far lake area and the flora and fauna area on the northwest side have weak spatial perception,and the composite function carrying potential of slow traffic space is better reflected in a small range.Therefore,an optimization strategy for slow traffic space is proposed to enhance the continuity of road network,site identifiability,and functional diversification.The results will provide new thoughts of governance based on spatial humanism for the high-quality renewal of urban parks in the new era. 展开更多

Prediction of Apigenin Targets in Lung Cancer Using Network Pharmacology and Molecular Docking 被引量:1

[Objectives]To elucidate the mechanism of action of apigenin against lung cancer.[Methods]First,drug-target pathways and networks were constructed to predict potential protein targets of apigenin and their main interactions with the drug.Then,the ingenuity pathway analysis(IPA)was carried out to identify enriched gene pathways and networks,and the candidate protein targets of apigenin were predicted using networks and pathways that overlapped between proteins associated with lung cancer and proteins targeted by apigenin.[Results]Docking studies with apigenin indicated that BCL-2,CASP9,CDK2,CYCLIND1,PI3K,NF-κB,Rb1,p53,and AKT are the top candidate targets of apigenin,suggesting that the drug acts against lung cancer by regulating proteins involved in molecular mechanisms of cancer,as well as small cell lung cancer,pancreatic adenocarcinoma,glucocorticoid receptor,and p53 signaling.It was also found that apigenin affects networks mainly involved in the cell cycle,cell-to-cell signaling and interactions,hematological system development and function,cell death and survival,and organismal injury and abnormalities.[Conclusions]This study shows that network pharmacology is useful in generating hypotheses about how apigenin exerts therapeutic effects in lung cancer,as well as in discovering new multitarget drugs against other complex diseases. 展开更多

[Objectives]To investigate the potential mechanisms of action of triptolide,an active component in the traditional Chinese medicine Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F,in colorectal cancer(CRC).[Methods]Public databases were first searched for genes and proteins known to be associated with CRC,as well as those predicted to be targets of triptolide,and then Ingenuity Pathway Analysis(IPA)was applied to identify enriched gene pathways and networks.Networks and pathways that overlapped between CRC-associated proteins and triptolide target proteins were then used to predict candidate protein targets of triptolide in CRC.[Results]The following proteins were found to be expressed in both CRC-associated networks and triptolide target networks:JUN,FOS,CASP3,BCL2,IFNG,and VEGFA.Docking studies suggested that triptolide can fit in the binding pocket of the four top candidate triptolide target proteins(CASP3,BCL2,VEGFA and IFNG).The overlapping pathways were activation of neuroinflammation signaling,glucocorticoid receptor signaling,T helper(Th)cell differentiation,Th1/Th2 activation,and colorectal cancer metastasis signaling.[Conclusions]These results show that network pharmacology can be used to generate hypotheses about how triptolide exerts therapeutic effects in CRC.Network pharmacology may be a useful method for characterizing multi-target drugs in complex diseases. 展开更多

Some big cities in Bangladesh have been experiencing a massive and rapid influx of rural people due to the impacts of climate change,and therefore the urban administration encounters enormous challenges.This study aims to investigate the drivers of climate-induced migration and the post-displacement status of the migrants living in the urban slum of Rajshahi City.Using a semi-structured questionnaire survey,this study conducted interviews with 50 migrants residing in two slums in Rajshahi City.An interpretive phenomenological analysis(IPA)approach was implemented to evaluate the survey data.This study finds that food insecurity and flood are the two significant climate drivers of migration.Among the non-climate drivers,lack of alternative livelihood is the major reason.It should be noticed that the climate migrants in many cases do not get the opportunity to improve their living standards;they are usually occupied with low-pay professions like maid,van and rickshaw puller,and scrap collector.The study also reveals that migrants,especially females and children,need several basic physiological,economic,social,and health services.Most children have no chance to attend school.Compared to males,females have more opportunities for some support and allowances.Overall,an inadequate level of change has taken place in the lives of migrants,which raises the concern if migration is ever a way to resolve a problem or the beginning of many other problems.Further research may concentrate on the impact of migration on the dynamics of social capital among slum dwellers. 展开更多

The purpose of this study is to assess the attributes college recruiters’value when determining their campus recruiting activities.The concept of servicescape,SERVQUAL,and SERVPERF were used as a theoretical framework.Importance-performance analysis was utilised to evaluate nine attributes:employer development professional,career fair,tabling,classroom visit,information session,faculty meeting,student group meeting,on campus interviewing,and sponsorship.Data collection occurred at a university in the south eastern United States which hosts career fairs with more than 180 companies.Corporate recruiters were asked to complete a survey with questions regarding the attributed importance and performance of their recruiting experience with the university.This study fills a gap in the research regarding corporate recruiter’s evaluative criteria and decision-making of campus visits,as well as provides practical implications for university career services. 展开更多

In this paper, we present the first evidence of differences in the mitochondria-related gene expression profiles of adult articular cartilage derived from patients with Kashin-Beck disease and normal controls. The expression of 705 mitochondria-related genes was analyzed by mitochondria-related gene expression analysis and ingenuity pathways analysis. Mitochondria-related gene expression analysis identified 9 up-regulated genes in Kashin-Beck disease based on their average expression ratio. Three canonical pathways involved in oxidative phosphorylation, apoptosis signaling and pyruvate metabolism were identified, which indicate the involvement of mitochondrial dysfunction in the pathogenesis of Kashin-Beck disease. 展开更多
