In particular, the IRS assisted simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT) system can make the information decoding receivers(IDRs) have a higher signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), and the energy harvesting receivers(EHRs) have the guarantee of minimum harvested energy threshold. Motivated by the above,in this paper, we use the power splitting(PS) at the user and introduce artificial noise(AN) into the access point(AP), so that the user in system can harvest energy and decode information simultaneously, further improve the security of user. We jointly optimize the beamforming matrix at AP, the reflection phase shift at IRS and the PS ratio, in order to maximize the user’s achievable secrecy rate, subject to the user’s minimum harvested energy threshold and AP’s transmission power. Due to the introduction of PS ratio, the coupling between variables is increased, and the complexity of the problem is significantly increased. Furthermore, the problem is non-convex, so we propose an efficient algorithm based on Taylor Formula, semi-definite relaxation(SDR) and alternating optimization(AO) to get the solution. Numerical results show that the proposed IRS-SWIPT system with PS and AN achieves significant performance improvement compared with other benchmark scheme.展开更多

We decide to maximize the channel capacity by jointly optimizing the transmit-power-constrained precoding matrix at the base station and the unit-modulus-constrained phase shift vector at the IRS in IRS-assisted multi-user downlink communication. We first convert the resulting non-convex problem into an equivalent problem, then use the alternate optimization algorithm. While fixing the phase shift vector, we can obtain the optimal precoding matrix directly by adopting standard optimization packages. While fixing the precoding matrix, we propose the Riemannian Trust-Region (RTR) algorithm to solve this optimization problem. And the key of the RTR algorithm is the solution of the trust-region sub-problem. We first adopt the accurate solution based on Newton's (ASNT) method to solve this sub-problem, which can obtain the global solution but cannot guarantee that the solution is optimal since the initial iteration point is difficult to choose. Then, we propose the Improved-Polyline (IPL) method, which can avoid the difficulty of the ASNT method and improve convergence speed and calculation efficiency. The numerical results show that the RTR algorithm has more significant performance gains and faster convergence speed compared with the existing approaches.展开更多

The current technologies cannot achieve all the mentioned requirements. New technologies and new approaches for deploying more active and passive nodes must be developed. Furthermore, the use of MMW band and THz band (30 - 300 GHz), in order to utilize their huge bandwidth, results in deploying more active node and more antennas due to high propagation losses and “LOS” behavior at this band. Development of innovative technologies is necessary to realize the above demand for growth of future wireless communication. The main task is to suggest solutions for the time varying characteristic of the wireless channel due to the user mobility and shadowing or blocking of communication channel. The current methods such as use of pilot channel to estimate the fading, various modulation or coding and beamforming, have overhead and limitations over random (large, unexpected changes) channels.展开更多

The influences of hydrogen content in sputtering gas on the structural, optical, and electrical properties of ZnO:A1 films were systematically investigated. It is found that hydrogen incorporated into ZnO lattice forms shallow donors in ZnO:A1 films and plays an important role in the properties of ZnO:A1 films. The electrical conductivity and infrared (IR) reflectance are improved due to the increase of electron carrier concentration, and the average trans- mittance decreases, which is ascribed to the strong scat- tering from the hydrogen incorporated and oxygen vacancies in ZnO:A1 films. In this study, the resistivity of 5.5 × 10-4 Ω.cm is obtained, the average transmittance of the wavelength in the range of 400-900 nm is almost 86 %, and the IR reflectance reaches 75 % at 2,500 nm, which is higher than that of reported TCO films. The band gap determined by optical absorption is a result of com- petition between Burstein-Moss effect and many-body perturbation effect. However, the hydrogen content in sputtering gas is above 10 %, and the optical band gap shift is independent of hydrogen content in sputtering gas.展开更多

Numerical results show that the proposed IRS-SWIPT system with PS and AN achieves significant performance improvement compared with other benchmark scheme.
文摘Two kinds of nanopowders were studied. One is NiFe 2O 4 spherical nanopowders which have different particle sizes.Another is ZnO nanopowders including two series of spherical particles and tetrapod nanowhiskers.Through measuring the infrared diffuse reflection spectra of nanopowders,it can be found that the particle size and morphology affect the infrared diffuse reflection spectra. For the NiFe 2O 4 nanopowders the smaller the particle size, the larger the K-M value. And when the particle size is large enough, the effect of the particle size on infrared diffuse reflection spectra would disappear. For the ZnO nanopowders the effects of the particle size and morphology are more special. The effect of the particle sizes of tetrapod whisker nanopowders on infrared diffuse reflection spectra is more than that of spherical nanopowders.

文摘Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS) can offer unprecedented channel capacity gains since it can reconfigure the signal propagation environment. The numerical results show that the RTR algorithm has more significant performance gains and faster convergence speed compared with the existing approaches.
文摘The new requirements from the 5th and the 6th generation of wireless communication are ultra-high data rate, energy efficiency, wide coverage and connectivity, high reliability, and low latency. The current methods such as use of pilot channel to estimate the fading, various modulation or coding and beamforming, have overhead and limitations over random (large, unexpected changes) channels.

文摘This paper focuses on the secrecy efficiency maximization in intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)assisted unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communication. With the popularization of UAV technology, more and more communication scenarios need UAV support. We consider using IRS to improve the secrecy efficiency.Specifically,IRS and UAV trajectories work together to counter potential eavesdroppers, while balancing the secrecy rate and energy consumption. The original problem is difficult to solve due to the coupling of optimization variables. We first introduce secrecy efficiency as an auxiliary variable and propose relaxation optimization problem, and then prove the equivalence between relaxation problem and the original problem. Then an iterative algorithm is proposed by applying the block coordinate descent(BCD)method and the inner approximationmethod. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm converges fast and is superior to the existing schemes. In addition,in order to improve the robustness of the algorithm,we also pay attention to the case of obtaining imperfect channel state information(CSI).

文摘The determination of an accurate center of rotation of rocket motor nozzle or other object to be measured is of great interest across a wide range of applications, such as rocket, missile, robotics, industry, spaceflight, aviation and human motion analysis fields, particularly for clinical gait analysis.A new approach was proposed to estimate the moving objects' instantaneous center of rotation and other motion parameters. The new method assumes that the two segment of object to be measured are rigid body which rotates around a center of rotation between each other relatively. The center of rotation varies with time in the global coordinate system but is fixed in the local coordinate system attached to each segment. The models of rocket motor nozzle and its movement were established. The arbitrary moving object's corresponding to motion equations were deduced, and the least square closed-form solutions of the object's motion parameters were figured out.It is assumed that the two high speed CCD cameras mounted on the 750 nm infrared(IR) filter are synchronized and calibrated in advance. The virtual simulation experiment using 3D coordinates of markers was conducted by synchronized stereo image sequences based on 6-DOF motion platform and the experimental results prove the feasibility of our algorithm. The test results show that the precision of x,y,z component on center of rotation is up to 0.14 mm,0.13 mm,0.15 mm.

文摘In this paper,an innovative 3D motion parameters estimation method from stereo image sequences based on infrared(IR) reflective markers is presented. It was assumed that two high speed CCD cameras had been calibrated previously. The method consists of the following steps:1) the coordinate of several markers and depth map for each stereo pair was determined from the sequences of stereo images by relations of markers' coordinate the correspondence between markers was established,2) the 3D motion parameters of the target was computed based upon the matched markers' coordinate, and 3) translated 3D motion parameters estimation into the problem of least square according to the movement model of the object to be measured.Without using line, curve or corner correspondence, this method can calculate the depth of these markers feature easily and quickly in contrast to traditional approaches. The two CCD cameras work on 200 f/s,and each processing cost time is about 3 ms.It was found that,by using several markers and a large number of stereo images, this method can improve the computational speed, robustness and numerical accuracy of the motion parameters in comparison with traditional methods. The virtual simulation experiment was conducted using synthesized stereo image sequences based on 6-DOF motion platform and the experimental results proved the validity of our approach and showed that the translation and rotation precision is up to 0.1 mm and 0.1°.

文摘A wireless powered communication network(WPCN)assisted by intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)is proposed in this paper, which can transfer information by non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technology. In the system,in order to ensure that the hybrid access point(H-AP)can correctly decode user information via successive interference cancellation(SIC)technology, the information transmit power of user needs to satisfy a certain threshold,so as to meet the corresponding SIC constraints. Therefore, when the number of users who transfer information simultaneously increases, the system performance will be greatly restricted. To minimize the influence of SIC constraints on system performance, users are firstly clustered, and then each cluster collects energy from H-AP and finally, users transfer information based on NOMA with the assistance of IRS.Specifically, this paper aims to maximize the sum throughput of the system by jointly optimizing the beamforming of IRS and resource allocation of the system. The semi-definite relaxation(SDR)algorithm is employed to alternately optimize the beamforming of IRS in each time slot, and the joint optimization problem about user’s transmit power and time is transformed into two optimal time allocation sub-problems.The numerical results show that the proposed optimization scheme can effectively improve the sum throughput of the system. In addition, the results in the paper further reveals the positive impact of IRS on improving the sum throughput of the system.

文摘The performance of wireless communication systems is fundamentally constrained by the random and uncontrollable wireless channel. By leveraging the recent advances in digitally-controlled metasurface, intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has emerged as a promising solution to enhance the wireless network performance by smartly reconfiguring the radio propagation environment. Despite the substantial research on IRS-aided communications, this article addresses the important issue of how to deploy IRSs in a wireless network to achieve its optimum performance. We first compare the two conventional strategies of deploying IRS at the side of base station or users in terms of various communication performance metrics, and then propose a new hybrid IRS deployment strategy by combining their complementary advantages. Moreover, the main challenges in optimizing IRS deployment as well as their promising solutions are discussed. Numerical results are also presented to compare the performance of different IRS deployment strategies and draw useful insights for practical design.

文摘The intelligent information society, which is highly digitized, intelligence inspired, and globally data driven, will be deployed in the next decade. The next 6G wireless communication networks are the key to achieve this grand blueprint, which is expected to connect everything, provide full dimensional wireless coverage and integrate all functions to support full-vertical applications.Recent research reveals that intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)with wireless environment control capability is a promising technology for 6G networks.Specifically,IRS can intelligently control the wavefront,e.g.,the phase, amplitude, frequency, and even polarization by massive tunable elements, thus achieving fine-grained 3-D passive beamforming. In this paper,we first give a blueprint of the next 6G networks including the vision, typical scenarios, and key performance indicators(KPIs).Then,we provide an overview of IRS including the new signal model, hardware architecture, and competitive advantages in 6G networks.Besides,we discuss the potential application of IRS in the connectivity of 6G networks in detail, including intelligent and controllable wireless environment, ubiquitous connectivity, deep connectivity, and holographic connectivity. At last,we summarize the challenges of IRS application and deployment in 6G networks. As a timely review of IRS,our summary will be of interest to both researchers and practitioners engaging in IRS for 6G networks.
文摘An intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)is proposed to enhance the physical layer security in the Rician fading channel wherein the angular direction of the eavesdropper(ED)is aligned with a legitimate user.A two-phase communication system under active attacks and passive eavesdropping is considered in this scenario. The base station avoids direct transmission to the attacked user in the first phase, whereas other users cooperate in forwarding signals to the attacked user in the second phase, with the help of IRS and energy harvesting technology.Under the occurrence of active attacks,an outage-constrained beamforming design problem is investigated under the statistical cascaded channel error model, which is solved by using the Bernstein-type inequality. An average secrecy rate maximization problem for the passive eavesdropping is formulated, which is then addressed by a low-complexity algorithm. The numerical results of this study reveal that the negative effect of the ED’s channel error is larger than that of the legitimate user.

文摘Aluminum-doped zinc oxide (ZnO:AI) films were deposited by direct current magnetron sputtering in incorporating hydrogen in sputtering gas at room temper- ature. However, the hydrogen content in sputtering gas is above 10 %, and the optical band gap shift is independent of hydrogen content in sputtering gas.
