A Study on the Effectiveness of Process-oriented Approach in ESL English Writing Teaching in YAU

This study sets out to conduct the effectiveness of process-oriented approach on the ESL writing teaching for non-Eng-lish majors in Yunnan Agricultural University(YAU),with the aim of enhancing the students' English writing proficiency andscores.120 non-English major sophomores and 10 English teachers from YAU are involved in it.With the results of questionnaire,interview and the composition scores of the target students,the findings indicate that the students have a positive attitude towardsprocess-oriented writing approach and it can help them write better and make the writing class more interesting.

Efficacy of Peer Revision in Process-oriented Writing

Peer revision is a collaborative activity during which student writers can exchange drafts and make suggestions for improvement. It has been widely used at present in process-oriented writing instruction. In this paper, the researcher carried out an empirical study about the effects and efficacy of peer revision on a group of Chinese Juniors majoring in English. It was found that student writers focused specially on grammar and vocabulary in PE session and organization was the least attended to. PE was quite effective in improving the overall writing quality, as the participants did incorporate most of the revisions suggested by their peers. However, the influences of students'writing proficiencies and of the rhetorical modes of the writing tasks on the effects of PE were proved to be not very significant.

基于Photo Sphere Viewer的轻量化可量测街景系统研究

随着新型基础测绘体系发展,测绘技术和装备不断升级,大量街景数据随着车载激光扫描工作一并被采集。针对该数据路线随机性大、密集程度高等特点,以及传统街景地图系统插件受限、扩展性不强、无法量测等局限,本文设计了基于Photo Sphere Viewer的轻量化可量测街景系统,在开源插件的基础上实现了对其组件的扩充、实现了行进方向、地图交互等系统功能的设计优化,进一步实现了基于深度图的街景地图量测功能。生产作业队伍对系统的使用结果表明,该系统可以辅助生产作业队伍进行属性采集、纹理更新、数据检查等多项工作,操作灵活便捷,且具有较强的可扩展性,便于基于生产需求进行改进调整,提高了生产效率,为新型基础测绘成果进一步深化应用提供了良好的借鉴作用。

Process-oriented knowledge-sharing platform for chemical engineering design projects

A process-oriented knowledge-sharing platform is studied to improve knowledge sharing and project management of chemical engineering design enterprises. First, problems and characteristics of knowledge sharing in multi-projects of chemical engineering design are analyzed. Then based on theories of project management, process management, and knowledge management, a process-oriented knowledge-sharing platform is proposed. The platform has three characteristics: knowledge is divided into professional knowledge and project management knowledge; knowledge sharing is integrated with the project process, which makes knowledge sharing a necessary part of the project process and ensures the quantity of knowledge shared; the platform provides quantitative measurements of incentive mechanisms for knowledge providers and users which ensures the quality of knowledge shared. This knowledge-sharing platform uses two knowledge management tools, a knowledge map and a knowledge base, to support the platform.

Nurses’ Experiences of Process-Oriented Supervision—Acquiring New Approaches to Demanding Situations

Background: Providing nursing care for patients and relatives requires a great effort from a nurse. It is therefore important for the nurse to have the opportunity to reflect on the caring acts included in process-oriented nursing supervision (PRONS). The overall objective of the nursing supervision is to support the professional development identity, competences, skills and ethics in different situations in nursing care. Aim: To investigate nurses’ experiences of the model of purging, playing and learning (PPL) according to Eriksson theory in a (PRONS) related to strengthen safe care, quality and professional development. Method: A qualitative study with individual interviews and the data was analyzed using qualitative interpretive content analysis. Participants: All eleven registered participated nurses were from southwestern Sweden and worked in different hospital units. Ethical Considerations: The study carried out in accordance with the ethical guidelines laid down in the Helsinki Declaration and according to the recommendations of the regional ethics committee. Findings: Three categories were identified, valuable purging in the process, responsive playing and awareness of learning. The study found that by participating in PRONS the nurses had developed new approaches with different “tools” when difficult situations occurred in daily nursing practice. Conclusion: PRONS with the model PPL has an important role to support nurses in daily nursing practice. The study highlights that there are residual successful effects after PRONS for the nurses in managing care situations that experienced strengthen quality in care and professional development.

基于单片机和LabVIEW的无线温度监测与控制系统设计

本文设计了一个基于STC89C52单片机和LabVIEW的无线温度监测与控制系统.该系统采用上下位机的结构,其中下位机通过STC89C52单片机控制DS18B20采集实时温度,并利用控制模块实现加热或降温,同时,通过蓝牙模块实现与上位机的无线通信;上位机以LabVIEW作为开发平台,实现对温度的实时显示、处理、存储、阈值设定和温度控制等功能.该系统电路设计简单、成本低、扩展性强、人机界面友好,可用于智能大棚的温度控制等需要温度检测的场所,具有广阔的应用前景.

Non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted scleral buckling surgery for retinal detachment in silicone oilfilled eyes

AIM:To evaluate scleral buckling(SB)surgery using a noncontact wide-field viewing system and 23-gauge intraocular illumination for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in silicone oil(SO)-filled eyes.METHODS:Totally 9 patients(9 eyes)with retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes were retrospectively analyzed.All patients underwent non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted buckling surgery with 23-gauge intraocular illumination.SO was removed at an appropriate time based on recovery.The patients were followed up for at least 3mo after SO removal.Retinal reattachment,complications,visual acuity and intraocular pressure(IOP)before and after surgery were observed.RESULTS:Patients were followed up for a mean of 8.22mo(3-22mo)after SO removal.All patients had retinal reattachment.At the final follow-up,visual acuity showed improvement for 8 patients,and no change for 1 patient.The IOP was high in 3 patients before surgery,but it stabilized after treatment;it was not affected in the other patients.None of the patients had infections,hemorrhage,anterior ischemia,or any other complication.CONCLUSION:This new non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted SB surgery with 23-gauge intraocular illumination is effective and safe for retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes.

Since the early 20th century,China has gradually established a clinical,educational,and research system centered around modern scientific medicine,which has now become the dominant force in China's medical and health system and services,with the construction and development of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College as the most prominent symbol.The scientific medicine in the new era requires close cooperation across multiple disciplines and fields to build a high-quality and efficient medical and health service system.It also involves combining the excellent traditional Chinese culture with Western medicine to explore a unique path of modern scientific medicine with Chinese characteristics.

The real-time dynamic liquid level calculation method of the sucker rod well based on multi-view features fusion

In the production of the sucker rod well, the dynamic liquid level is important for the production efficiency and safety in the lifting process. It is influenced by multi-source data which need to be combined for the dynamic liquid level real-time calculation. In this paper, the multi-source data are regarded as the different views including the load of the sucker rod and liquid in the wellbore, the image of the dynamometer card and production dynamics parameters. These views can be fused by the multi-branch neural network with special fusion layer. With this method, the features of different views can be extracted by considering the difference of the modality and physical meaning between them. Then, the extraction results which are selected by multinomial sampling can be the input of the fusion layer.During the fusion process, the availability under different views determines whether the views are fused in the fusion layer or not. In this way, not only the correlation between the views can be considered, but also the missing data can be processed automatically. The results have shown that the load and production features fusion(the method proposed in this paper) performs best with the lowest mean absolute error(MAE) 39.63 m, followed by the features concatenation with MAE 42.47 m. They both performed better than only a single view and the lower MAE of the features fusion indicates that its generalization ability is stronger. In contrast, the image feature as a single view contributes little to the accuracy improvement after fused with other views with the highest MAE. When there is data missing in some view, compared with the features concatenation, the multi-view features fusion will not result in the unavailability of a large number of samples. When the missing rate is 10%, 30%, 50% and 80%, the method proposed in this paper can reduce MAE by 5.8, 7, 9.3 and 20.3 m respectively. In general, the multi-view features fusion method proposed in this paper can improve the accuracy obviously and process the missing data effectively, which helps provide technical support for real-time monitoring of the dynamic liquid level in oil fields.

Research on Feature Matching Optimization Algorithm for Automotive Panoramic Surround View System

In response to the challenges posed by insufficient real-time performance and suboptimal matching accuracy of traditional feature matching algorithms within automotive panoramic surround view systems,this paper has proposed a high-performance dimension reduction parallel matching algorithm that integrates Principal Component Analysis(PCA)and Dual-Heap Filtering(DHF).The algorithm employs PCA to map the feature points into the lower-dimensional space and employs the square of Euclidean distance for feature matching,which significantly reduces computational complexity.To ensure the accuracy of feature matching,the algorithm utilizes Dual-Heap Filtering to filter and refine matched point pairs.To further enhance matching speed and make optimal use of computational resources,the algorithm introduces a multi-core parallel matching strategy,greatly elevating the efficiency of feature matching.Compared to Scale-Invariant Feature Transform(SIFT)and Speeded Up Robust Features(SURF),the proposed algorithm reduces matching time by 77%to 80%and concurrently enhances matching accuracy by 5%to 15%.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithmexhibits outstanding real-time matching performance and accuracy,effectivelymeeting the feature-matching requirements of automotive panoramic surround view systems.

Window Views of Wards in Foreign Hospitals

Through the collection and systematic analysis of documents related to window views of hospitals,it is found that natural window views had a significant impact on patients’health benefits.The research focused on three aspects:“shortening length of stay”,“pain reduction”and“improvement of recovery rate”,mainly covering three types of patients:“heart patients”,“postoperative patients”and“patients of rehabilitation centers”.Based on the above analysis,summary and sorting,new directions and perspectives of hospital environment design and research under the concept of comprehensive health of people’s physiological,psychological and social adaptation will be obtained to provide references for the research and practice of health architecture,rehabilitation architecture,biophile design and other fields.

The Youth’s View of Marriage in Chinese Mainstream Media Discourse-A Corpus-assisted Three-dimensional Discourse Analysis

The rising of aging and the declining of birth rates have forced the public to focus on the youth’s view on marriage.Based on critical discourse analysis and combined with Fairclough’s three-dimensional discourse analysis model,this paper builds a“Chinese media News Report Corpus on the topic of‘marriage’”whose news are collected from China Daily.It is found that the discourses are neutral and objective with regard to the advantages and disadvantages of marriage,but in general,it is still a traditional view of marriage that is inevitable and closely related to fertility.Although this is controlled by the policies and the social reasons including declining fertility rate,it deviates from the current view of the youth towards marriage,resulting in many serious consequences such as young people’s rejection.In addition,this research found that male and female have great differences in their views on marriage,and men’s resistance to marriage is far greater than that of women,which is departure from the public’s cognition.The reasons behind this need to be explored in order to solve the marriage and love problems of young people in today’s era and realize the healthy development of young marriage.

Pragmatist View of Human Rights:Theoretical Explanations of China’s Human Rights Practice

The pragmatist view of human rights represents a the-oretical condensation of the Chinese practice in human rights devel-opment.In view of the problem of circular idling between rights and claims caused by the traditional view of human rights of focusing on contents and not valuing implementation,social segmentation caused by empty talks on interests and claims while ignoring social develop-ment,and the phenomenon of the issue of human rights completely becoming empty and useless political rhetoric,the pragmatic view of human rights,based on the fact that there is a gap between the claims and realization of human rights,emphasizes that instead of blindly ex-panding the types of rights in term of text,it is better to base on prac-tice and promote the maximum realization of existing rights through development.The pragmatist view of human rights attaches impor-tance to relevant economic,social and cultural basis to promote the realization of human rights,rather than only focusing on the claims themselves;it pays greater attention to enhancing the realization of rights,rather than the distribution of rights under the total limit;it ad-vocates more for cooperativism in the realization of rights,rather than confrontation.The pragmatic concept of human rights takes Marxism as its theoretical basis and the gene of practice and the dimension of development as its theoretical characteristics,and promotes the devel-opment of human rights through the realization of rights.

Analysis of Viewing Paintings from the Perspective of Iconography

Distinguished from purely formalistic research methods,iconography pursues the interpretation of the hidden historical and humanistic connotations behind artworks,and is a discipline that combines visual text and content analysis methods.Combining the three stages of iconography proposed by Panofsky,the paper studies Shizeng Chen’s Viewing Paintings from the perspective of iconography,summarizing the formation and change of the images and contents of the artworks in the cultural system and civilization at that time,as well as their implied ideology,and analyzing the hidden spirit of the times and the historical significance behind them,so as to expound their iconographic significance.Through an in-depth discussion at three levels:pre-pictorial iconographic description,iconographic analysis,and iconographic interpretation,the facts and surface contents reproduced in the images,the traditional level of literary,artistic,and cultural knowledge,as well as the interpretation of the potential meanings are revealed.

Low-Rank Multi-View Subspace Clustering Based on Sparse Regularization

Multi-view Subspace Clustering (MVSC) emerges as an advanced clustering method, designed to integrate diverse views to uncover a common subspace, enhancing the accuracy and robustness of clustering results. The significance of low-rank prior in MVSC is emphasized, highlighting its role in capturing the global data structure across views for improved performance. However, it faces challenges with outlier sensitivity due to its reliance on the Frobenius norm for error measurement. Addressing this, our paper proposes a Low-Rank Multi-view Subspace Clustering Based on Sparse Regularization (LMVSC- Sparse) approach. Sparse regularization helps in selecting the most relevant features or views for clustering while ignoring irrelevant or noisy ones. This leads to a more efficient and effective representation of the data, improving the clustering accuracy and robustness, especially in the presence of outliers or noisy data. By incorporating sparse regularization, LMVSC-Sparse can effectively handle outlier sensitivity, which is a common challenge in traditional MVSC methods relying solely on low-rank priors. Then Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) algorithm is employed to solve the proposed optimization problems. Our comprehensive experiments demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of LMVSC-Sparse, offering a robust alternative to traditional MVSC methods.

多尺度特征增强的街景绿色景观分割方法

针对街景图像中景观复杂多样且多种景观相互遮挡,绿色景观分割效果存在相似景观错分、边界分割模糊、细节丢失等问题,提出一种多尺度特征增强的城市绿色景观分割网络。在编码部分改进多尺度残差网络提取上下文信息以区分相似景观,同时构建多级特征聚合增强模块增强目标特征的边缘细节信息。增加双注意力机制,在局部特征上建模丰富的上下文联系。最后,将多级特征聚合增强模块同样引入解码器,并融合多层级特征来提高目标信息的恢复能力完善边缘信息。在公共街景数据集Cityscapes与自制数据集StreetData的消融实验表明,该网络与基础网络相比,平均交并比分别提高2.96%和5.57%。此外,在两个数据集上进行对比实验,该网络较对比模型平均交并比分别高1.25%~5.29%和1.52%~6.95%。定量分析与实验结果表明,该方法能够有效识别街景的绿色景观,实现高精度的城市绿色景观数据提取。

基于一观两性三模式的中医药英语线上教学模式实践

疫情常态化背景下,为培养高等院校中医药复合型外向人才,此研究主要采用“一观两性三模式”的线上教学模式对中医药英语教学内容和教学方式进行改革。文章从完善线上教学资源、调整在线教学模式、教学改革拟解决重点问题、课程特色与亮点及教学反思5个方面进行论述,以期改进此课程的在线教学模式,进而提高教学效果。“一观两性三模式”教学模式有助于提升学生中医药英语能力,帮助其树立民族文化自信,培养国际化中医药人才,从而助力中医药文化的对外传播。

基于ADAMS/View明弧焊接机器人运动仿真分析

明弧焊接机器人是冶金行业广泛应用的一种焊接设备,其中各部分的传动精度会对焊接枪头的行走精度产生累积误差,影响焊接质量,因此如何有效控制其传动精度和制造安装误差成为提高设计质量的关键.基于ADAMS/View虚拟平台,搭建了明弧焊接机器人虚拟试验样机,对其进行运动仿真分析,获取机器人焊接过程中运动特性.结果表明,该方法为提高机器人运动精度和设计质量提供了有效途径,且不必建立复杂的机器人运动学数学模型,避免了对模型求解的繁琐过程,有效提高了设计效率和精度.
