Effect of Partial Replacement of Fly Ash by Decoration Waste Powder on the Fresh and Mechanical Properties of Geopolymer Masonry Mortar

This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using decoration waste powder(DWP)as a partial replacement for fly ash(FA)in the preparation of geopolymer masonry mortar,and to examine the effect of different DWP replacement rates(0%-40%)on the fresh and mechanical properties of the mortar.The results showed that each group of geopolymer masonry mortar exhibited excellent water retention performance,with a water retention rate of 100%,which was due to the unique geopolymer mortar system and high viscosity of the alkaline activator solution.Compared to the control group,the flowability of the mortar containing lower contents of DWP(10%and 20%)was higher.However,as the DWP replacement rate further increased,the flowability gradually decreased.The DWP could absorb the free water in the reaction system of geopolymer mortar,thereby limiting the occurrence of geopolymerization reaction.The incorporation of DWP in the mortar resulted in a decrease in compressive strength compared to the mortar without DWP.However,even at a replacement rate of 40%,the compressive strength of the mortar still exceeded 15 MPa,which met the requirements of the masonry mortar.It was feasible to use DWP in the geopolymer masonry mortar.Although the addition of DWP caused some performance loss,it did not affect its usability.

Impact of Sharing Marketing on Marketing Willingness of Employees in Internet Decoration Industry

With the development of information technology,sharing marketing,as an innovative marketing method,plays an important role in promoting the marketing willingness and enthusiasm of employees in the Internet decoration industry.Based on the data obtained from the ques-tionnaire survey,this paper makes an empirical analysis of the impact of the economic value,social value,perceived ease of use,perceived convenience,enabling conditions and subjective norms of sharing marketing on the marketing willingness of employees in the Internet decoration industry.The results showed that the questionnaire had good internal consistency and construct validity.Through empirical analysis,it can be found that the economic value,social value,perceived ease of use,perceived convenience,enabling conditions and subjective norms of sharing marketing have a significant positive impact on employees'marketing willingness.

Study on Traditional Architectural Decoration Patterns of Temple of the Three Sus

Temple of the Three Sus,which was first established during the Yuan Dynasty,features a natural,unrestrained,and classically elegant garden architectural style.This paper discusses the multiple characteristics and meanings of traditional architectural decorative patterns at Temple of the Three Sus from a semiotic perspective.First,it analyzes the denotative aspects of these patterns,including their stylistic forms,structural frameworks,and craftsmanship techniques.Second,the paper classifies the traditional architectural decorative patterns of the Temple of the Three Sus based on the types of sources of these patterns and interprets the implied meanings of each.Finally,the paper explores the application of these traditional decorative patterns in modern urban design,specifically in Meishan City,discussing the inheritance and innovation of these patterns in contemporary urban design and emphasizing the importance of integrating tradition with modernity.

Effect of film types on thermal response,cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding parts

Different types of polymer films were used in the combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding(IMD/MIM)process.The multiphase fluid-solid coupled heat transfer model was established to study the thermal response at the melt filling stage in the IMD/MIM process.It was found that the temperature distributed asymmetrically along the thickness direction due to the changed heat transfer coefficient of the melt on the film side.When polyethylene terephthalate(PET)films were applied,the temperature of the melt-film interface increased faster and to be higher at the end of melt filling stage in comparison with the application of polycarbonate(PC)and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)films.And the effects of film types on the cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of IMD/MIM parts were also studied experimentally.The results showed that the film types had no obvious effect on the cells size in the transition layer and the mechanical properties of the parts.Under certain film thickness,the offset distance of core layer was the largest with PET film used,while the offset distance was the smallest with TPU film used.And similar results were found for the warpage of the parts.However,an exactly opposite change occurred for the thickness of film-side transition layer and the bubble marks on the surface of the parts.

Research on the Interior Decoration Characteristics of Peking Union Medical College Phase I Project

Peking Union Medical College was founded in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.Since then,society and politics have been rapidly changing,and its architectural aesthetics reflect the idea of advocating the West and inheriting tradition.Through research and actual investigation,this paper summarizes the current status of its building from two aspects,interior decoration art and interior decoration technology,analyzes the interior decoration characteristics of Peking Union Medical College Phase I Project,and records the archives of Peking Union Medical College’s decoration technology.

Decoration of carbon encapsulated nitrogen-rich MoxN with few-layered MoSe2 nanosheets for high-performance sodium-ion storage

Transition metal nitrides have become the focus of research in sodium ion batteries(SIBs)due to their unique metal properties and high theoretical capacity.However,the low actual capacity is still the main bottleneck for their application.Herein,using Mo-aniline frameworks as precursors,the carbon encapsulated nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N is decorated by few-layered MoSe_(2) nanosheets(MoSe_(2)@Mo_(x)N/C-I)after the facile calcinating,selenizing,and nitriding.The carbon encapsulation can effectively strengthen the structural stability of Mo_(x)N.The nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N and decoration of few-layered MoSe_(2) can create rich heterointerfaces and extra active sites for rapid sodium-ion storage,thus promoting reaction kinetics and improving actual capacity.The MoSe_(2)@Mo_(x)N/C-I as an anode achieves a large reversible capacity of 522.8 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1),and 254.3 mAh g^(-1)capacity is obtained after 6000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1),showing signally improved sodium-ion storage properties.The storage mechanisms and kinetic behaviors are described systematically via the advanced testing techniques and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.It is found that the nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N as the substrate is the basis of long cycling stability,and the few-layered MoSe_(2) are the key to improving actual capacity.This work indicates that the decoration of few-layered selenides has a broad application prospect in high-performance metal-ion batteries.

The Application of Plant Culture in Architectural Decorations of Classical Gardens of Yangzhou

Investigations were made on the various plant patterns which appeared in the decorations of the two types of gardens, namely private gardens and temple gardens in Yangzhou. Analysis was made of the application of plant elements in each location, their implication of the traditional culture, and the relationship between the garden style, theme and artistic conception, aiming to provide a reference for the application of plant culture in the future garden decorations design.

Predator perception of detritus and eggsac decorations spun by orb-web spiders Cyclosa octotuberculata:Do they function to camouflage the spiders?

Camouflage is one of the most widespread and powerful strategies that animals use to make detection/recognitionmore difficult. Many orb-web spiders of the genus Cyclosa add prey remains, plant debris, moults, and/or eggsacs to their webscalled web decorations. Web decorations resembling spider body colour pattern have been considered to camouflage the spiderfrom predators. While this camouflage is obvious from a human's perspective, it has rarely been investigated from a predator'sperspective. In this study, we tested the visibility of web decorations by calculating chromatic and achromatic contrasts of detritusand eggsac decorations built by Cyclosa octotuberculata, against four different backgrounds viewed by both bird (e.g., blue tits)and hymenopteran (e.g. wasps) predators. We showed that both juvenile and adult spiders on webs with detritus or egg-sac decorationswere undetectable by both hymenopteran and bird predators over short and long distances. Our results thus suggest thatdecorating webs with detritus or eggsacs by C. octotuberculata may camouflage the spiders from both hymenopteran and birdpredators in their common habitats [Current Zoology 56 (3): 379-387, 2010].

First Principles DFT Study of Hydrogen Storage on Graphene with La Decoration

The properties of hydrogen storage on graphene with La decoration are investigated using a first-principles plane-wave pseudopotential method based on the density functional theory in this paper. The clustering problem of La decorated graphene is considered and B doping can solve it effectively in theory. We obtain the stable geometrical configuration of the modified system and the properties of hydrogen storage are excellent. It can absorb up to 6 H2 molecules with an average adsorption energy range of?–0.529 to –0.655 eV/H2, which meets the ideal range between the physisorbed and chemisorbed states for hydrogen storage. Furthermore, it is proved that the existence of La atom alters the charge distribution of H2 molecules and graphene sheet based on the calculation and analysis about the electronic density of states and charge density difference of the modified system. La atom interacts with hydrogen molecules through Kubas interaction. Thereby, it improves the performance of graphene sheet for hydrogen storage. The modified system exhibits the excellent potential to become one of the most suitable candidates for hydrogen storage medium at near ambient conditions with molecule state.

Identification of Grown-In Defects in CZ Silicon after Cu Decoration

Bulk Czochralski silicon crystals were decorated with Cu and characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). The vacancy-type core, oxidation-induced stacking faults (OISF) ring, nearly defect-free ring, and self-interstitial-type rich outer ring were delineated in the Si crystal wafer. At the surface of the Si crystal, vertical-horizontal line (V-H line) defects and windmill defects (W-defects) were formed instead of OISF. The families of growth planes and directions were expressed as {011} and for the V-H line and {010} and for W-defects, respectively. In addition to V-H line defects and W-defects, pits or voids and Si oxide with dissolved Cu were found in the Si crystal wafer.
