The coordinating pricing strategies with asymmetric cost information under disruptions are investigated in a one-supplier-one-retailer supply chain system.While the retailer's cost structure is asymmetric informat...The coordinating pricing strategies with asymmetric cost information under disruptions are investigated in a one-supplier-one-retailer supply chain system.While the retailer's cost structure is asymmetric information,supply chain pricing contract models(a wholesale price contract and an all-unit quantity discount contract)under asymmetric information are proposed by employing the principal-agent principle in a regular scenario.When the retailer's cost distribution is fluctuated by disruptions,we obtain the optimal emergency strategies of the supply chain under asymmetric information by considering deviation costs and show how to effectively handle the cost uncertainty.Using numerical methods,impacts of cost disruptions on the optimal wholesale price,the retailer price,the order quantity and the expected profits of the retailer,the supplier,as well as the total system are analyzed.It is found that the all-unit quantity discount policy can obtain better performance than the wholesale pricing policy.展开更多

First, the method for the determination of the cued search region, arrangement of beam positions, and the calculation of the prior probability distribution of each beam position is discussed. And then, two search algorithms based on information gain are proposed using Shannon entropy and Kullback-Leibler entropy, respectively. With the proposed strategy, the information gain of each beam position is predicted before the radar detection, and the observation is made in the beam position with the maximal information gain. Compared with the conventional method of sequential search and confirm search, simulation results show that the proposed search strategy can distinctly improve the search performance and save radar time resources with the same given detection probability.展开更多

For enhancing predictive discovery of hidden ore deposits in such mature environment, the key strategies which should be adopted include the innovation of the exploration models, application of the advanced exploration techniques and integration of multiple sets of information. The innovation of the exploration models should incorporate the new metallogenic concepts that are based on the geodynamic anatomization. The advanced techniques applied in the mature exploration environment should aim at the speciality and complexity of the geological setting and working environments. The information synthesis is to integrate multiple sets of data for giving a more credible and visual prospectivity map by using the geographic imformation system(GIS) and several mathematical methods, such as weight of evidence and fuzzy logic, which can extract useful information from every set of data as much as possible. It is found that network transmission capacity can be considerably enhanced by adjusting the parameter with various allocations of node capability for packet delivery. Moreover, the proposed routing strategy provides a traffic load distribution which can better match the allocation of node capability than that of traditional efficient routing strategies, leading to a network with improved transmission performance. This routing strategy, without deviating from the shortest-path routing strategy in the length of paths too much, produces improved performance indexes such as critical generating rate, average length of paths and average search information.展开更多

The statistical information can be obtained at the receiver and fed back to the transmitter and do not require frequent update. By exploiting channel mean and covariance information at the transmitter simultaneously, this paper investigates the optimal trans- mission strategy for spatially correlated MIMO channels. As a core component of the network,web applications have become one of the preferred targets for attackers because the static configuration of web applications simplifies the exploitation of vulnerabilities by attacke...As a core component of the network,web applications have become one of the preferred targets for attackers because the static configuration of web applications simplifies the exploitation of vulnerabilities by attackers.Although the moving target defense(MTD)has been proposed to increase the attack difficulty for the attackers,there is no solo approach can cope with different attacks;in addition,it is impossible to implement all these approaches simultaneously due to the resource limitation.Thus,the selection of an optimal defense strategy based on MTD has become the focus of research.In general,the confrontation of two players in the security domain is viewed as a stochastic game,and the reward matrices are known to both players.However,in a real security confrontation,this scenario represents an incomplete information game.Each player can only observe the actions performed by the opponent,and the observed actions are not completely accurate.To accurately describe the attacker’s reward function to reach the Nash equilibrium,this work simulated and updated the strategy selection distribution of the attacker by observing and investigating the strategy selection history of the attacker.Next,the possible rewards of the attacker in each confrontation via the observation matrix were corrected.On this basis,the Nash-Q learning algorithm with reward quantification was proposed to select the optimal strategy.Moreover,the performances of the Minimax-Q learning algorithm and Naive-Q learning algorithm were compared and analyzed in the MTD environment.Finally,the experimental results showed that the strategy selection algorithm can enable defenders to select a more reasonable defensive strategy and achieve the maximum possible reward.展开更多

When the cooperative development coefficient is large, it is more rational for the firm to cooperate with the MSSP to develop the information system. When the cooperative development coefficient is small, it is more rational for the firm to develop the information system by its own efforts. It also shows that the attacker's maximum expected utility increases with the increase in the attacker 's breach probability and cost coefficient when the cooperative development coefficient is small. A two-step information extraction method is presented to capture the specific index-related information more accurately.In the first step,the overall process variables are separated into two sets based on Pearson corr...A two-step information extraction method is presented to capture the specific index-related information more accurately.In the first step,the overall process variables are separated into two sets based on Pearson correlation coefficient.One is process variables strongly related to the specific index and the other is process variables weakly related to the specific index.Through performing principal component analysis(PCA)on the two sets,the directions of latent variables have changed.In other words,the correlation between latent variables in the set with strong correlation and the specific index may become weaker.Meanwhile,the correlation between latent variables in the set with weak correlation and the specific index may be enhanced.In the second step,the two sets are further divided into a subset strongly related to the specific index and a subset weakly related to the specific index from the perspective of latent variables using Pearson correlation coefficient,respectively.Two subsets strongly related to the specific index form a new subspace related to the specific index.Then,a hybrid monitoring strategy based on predicted specific index using partial least squares(PLS)and T2statistics-based method is proposed for specific index-related process monitoring using comprehensive information.Predicted specific index reflects real-time information for the specific index.T2statistics are used to monitor specific index-related information.Finally,the proposed method is applied to Tennessee Eastman(TE).The results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

The case study in this paper, about a business improvement project to provide public health and safety services to citizens in a US Federal agency, is a practical application of this integrated framework and reveals the benefits of this integrated approach for an investment decision. In real world applications, however, only very limited distribution information can be obtained. Therefore, the “optimal bidding strategy” obtained based on the hypothetical distribution may be far away from the true optimal one. In this paper, an optimal bidding strategy is obtained based on the minimax regret criterion. The salient feature of the new approach is that it requires only partial information of wind power distribution, for example, the expectation and the support set. 文摘A two-step information extraction method is presented to capture the specific index-related information more accurately.In the first step,the overall process variables are separated into two sets based on Pearson correlation coefficient.One is process variables strongly related to the specific index and the other is process variables weakly related to the specific index.Through performing principal component analysis(PCA)on the two sets,the directions of latent variables have changed.In other words,the correlation between latent variables in the set with strong correlation and the specific index may become weaker.Meanwhile,the correlation between latent variables in the set with weak correlation and the specific index may be enhanced.In the second step,the two sets are further divided into a subset strongly related to the specific index and a subset weakly related to the specific index from the perspective of latent variables using Pearson correlation coefficient,respectively.Two subsets strongly related to the specific index form a new subspace related to the specific index.Then,a hybrid monitoring strategy based on predicted specific index using partial least squares(PLS)and T2statistics-based method is proposed for specific index-related process monitoring using comprehensive information.Predicted specific index reflects real-time information for the specific index.T2statistics are used to monitor specific index-related information.Finally,the proposed method is applied to Tennessee Eastman(TE).The results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
文摘In order to improve the operational efficiency, the government can realize the streamlining policy through the mode of government information resource sharing. By building government information resources sharing, the government breaks the inter-departmental data island. The government realizes the development direction and trend of “Internet government”. This paper also takes the information resource sharing as the game process between the government management department and the information resource sharing body, and analyzes the policy and suggestion of the information resource sharing in the perspective of game theory by constructing the sharing model of the government information resource in the perspective of game theory.
文摘In the US Federal government, an analysis of alternatives (AoA) is required for a significant investment of resources. The AoA yields the recommended alternative from a set of viable alternatives for the investment decision. This paper presents an integrated AoA and project management framework for analyzing new or emerging alternatives (e.g., Cloud computing), as may be driven by an information system strategy that incorporates a methodology for analyzing the costs, benefits, and risks of each viable alternative. The case study in this paper, about a business improvement project to provide public health and safety services to citizens in a US Federal agency, is a practical application of this integrated framework and reveals the benefits of this integrated approach for an investment decision. The decision making process in the framework—as an integrated, organized, and adaptable set of management and control practices—offers a defensible recommendation and provides accountability to stakeholders.
文摘In optimal wind bidding strategy related literatures, it is usually assumed that the full distribution information (for example, the cumulative distribution function or the probability density function) of wind power output is known. In real world applications, however, only very limited distribution information can be obtained. Therefore, the “optimal bidding strategy” obtained based on the hypothetical distribution may be far away from the true optimal one. In this paper, an optimal bidding strategy is obtained based on the minimax regret criterion. The salient feature of the new approach is that it requires only partial information of wind power distribution, for example, the expectation and the support set. Numerical test is then performed and the results suggest that the method established in this paper is effective.

文摘Based on two different risk measurement criteria, this article studied the optimal hedging strategies of stock index futures in the case of asymmetric information, and discussed the influence of insider information on the hedging effect. Through simulation analysis, it can be shown that hedging people with insider information can save hedging costs to a certain extent, which also explains the reason why investors try to obtain corporate information in actual investment activities.
