社群认同视域下的iSchools联盟知识结构探测与社群发现

对iSchools这一学科整合社群的内部体系进行调研,可为国内图书情报学的学科转型提供借鉴。从社群认同理论出发,基于iSchools院校的学者研究兴趣文本,利用LDA主题模型和Louvain社群发现算法探测联盟整体的知识结构,并分析联盟内部的社群... 对iSchools这一学科整合社群的内部体系进行调研,可为国内图书情报学的学科转型提供借鉴。从社群认同理论出发,基于iSchools院校的学者研究兴趣文本,利用LDA主题模型和Louvain社群发现算法探测联盟整体的知识结构,并分析联盟内部的社群分化现状。研究发现,联盟的知识结构可归纳为跨学科前沿、图书情报学、信息技术、人文信息学四个模块,集群分布格局对应多学科信息研究、图书情报与档案管理、信息技术、人文型信息研究四类典型学科建设模式。研究建议国内院校应夯实学科传统根基,塑造学科认同,在学习国外学科建设经验的基础上构建具有中国特色的学科知识体系。 展开更多

A comparative analysis of information literacy curriculum standards in the educational programs of high schools in China and in the United States 被引量:1

Our study aims to take a closer look at China's current information literacy(IL) program standards at secondary schools and to analyze their level of success and/or failures in a comparative way with those of the ... Our study aims to take a closer look at China's current information literacy(IL) program standards at secondary schools and to analyze their level of success and/or failures in a comparative way with those of the United States in terms of fulfilling their each other's mission-oriented mandates. Our research findings show that China's current IL standards of high schools contain a disproportionate emphasis on information technology(IT). Moreover, the stipulations of these IL standards are narrowly construed and without being solidly grounded on a broad and comprehensive educational perspective. We also suggest that there are two underlying causes for this set of unsound IL standards in China.Firstly, there is a lack of collaboration between two major competing forces engaged in the curricular development and research of IL in China: Those professionals in educational IT discipline vis-à-vis those in Library and Information Science. Secondly, library professionals have a very limited influence on major socio-cultural policies, even at their own institutions. As a result, this paper recommends the following three possible measures,which may help remedy this situation strategically: 1) Establishing a set of new IL curriculum standards based on an IL-centered educational perspective; 2) establishing a teacher-librarian's training program to promote school librarians' role in IL education; and 3) strengthening the research and development of an online IL education program and an accompanied evaluation mechanism. 展开更多

Outbreak Information Delivery to Families with (Pre)School Children and Its Contribution

Background: Infection transmission among them occurs easily and sometimes causes outbreaks at facilities where children live in groups. Early response is necessary for infection control measures to avoid larger clusters. In Japan, (Nursery) School Absenteeism Surveillance System ((N)SASSy), which is a kind of school absenteeism surveillance, has activated since 2007 and covers about 60% of all schools and 40% of all nursery schools in 2017. Objective: The objective of the present paper is investigation and demonstration of how caregivers receive information related to infectious diseases in Japan and how (N)SASSy contributes health of children. Method: We randomly selected subjects with children by pre-fecture in October, 2017. The survey questionnaire asked background information and information about infectious diseases to maintain health in children. We regressed health concern variables on background information and information provision situation about community outbreaks using weighted logistic regression. Results: We received responses from 1172 people. Estimation results showed higher concern about a facility providing information about community outbreak. Caregivers whose children attend facilities provided about community outbreak or covered (N)SASSy significantly higher opportunity to arrange a schedule when a child has a high fever. Discussion: The obtained results demonstrated that activation in (N)SASSy affects the possibility of arranging a schedule when a child has a high fever. Survey and Research on Health Information Assistance Needs of Junior Middle School Students in Different Regions of Guangdong Province

Objective:To study the health information assistance needs of junior high school students in 8 different regions of Guangdong Province in a cluster,to understand the current situation of junior high school students'health information assistance needs,and to collect feasibility data for hospitals and schools to jointly promote the healthy development of students.Methods:In June 2019,a group of junior high school students from 8 different regions in Guangdong Province[678 students(in 2 towns),352 students(in 2 counties and prefecture-level cities),and 1098 students(in 4 provincial-level cities)]were selected in a group.A questionnaire survey was conducted by 2128 people,the results of the questionnaire survey were collected,and statistical analysis was performed.Results:Of the 2128 junior high school students in 8 different regions,only 52.07% had confidence in their health,and there were no regional differences.Health information for students seeking professional medical assistance includes:1578 person-times(74.15%)of nutritional diets,1084 person-times(50.94%)to eliminate tiredness,1190 person-times(55.92%)to improve sleep quality,1002 person-times(47.09%)to reduce anxiety,making him happier and stronger 1164 person-times(54.70%).Students in different regions asked for help on how to make their hearts happier and stronger.The results suggest that provincial and county-level students have greater needs than urban students.Conclusion:The results of this research show that junior high school students in different regions of Guangdong Province have insufficient awareness of health,and there is a large demand for various health help information,and the focus is on prevention.It is of practical significance to strengthen and meet the health information needs of junior high school students. 展开更多

在高等教育变革和"双一流"建设背景下,对国外iSchools图书情报与档案管理研究生学位项目建设情况进行调查与分析,能为我国推进一流学科建设,提升信息管理领域高层次人才培养质量提供参考。本研究以网站调查为主,选取美、英、... 在高等教育变革和"双一流"建设背景下,对国外iSchools图书情报与档案管理研究生学位项目建设情况进行调查与分析,能为我国推进一流学科建设,提升信息管理领域高层次人才培养质量提供参考。本研究以网站调查为主,选取美、英、加、澳四国的33所iSchools作为调查对象,从项目基本情况、项目类别、培养方向3方面对其研究生学位项目进行分析。研究发现,国外iSchools图书情报与档案管理研究生学位项目呈现以下特点:项目设置体现信息时代发展和人才需求特点、跨学科特性更加明显、培养方向逐渐细化、培养模式多样化。我国图书情报与档案管理研究生培养应在以下方面加以改进:(1)调整专业结构,兼顾信息前沿与传统学科特色;(2)加强跨学科交流,培养复合型人才;(3)以职业发展为导向,细化专业培养方向;(4)优化培养模式,提供多样化和个性化选择。 展开更多

分析美国iSchools教师的最高学历院校和现任职院校之间的关系,可以了解美国iSchools师资流动情况。研究美国iSchools师资队伍建设和教师培养能力,能为我国图情档学科的师资队伍建设和学科建设提供参考。本文从教师就职流动的视角收集教... 分析美国iSchools教师的最高学历院校和现任职院校之间的关系,可以了解美国iSchools师资流动情况。研究美国iSchools师资队伍建设和教师培养能力,能为我国图情档学科的师资队伍建设和学科建设提供参考。本文从教师就职流动的视角收集教师简历中最高学历院校和现任职iSchools信息,得到美国27个iSchools的880位教师的毕业院校及区域就职分布,iSchools师资队伍规模、职称结构、留校率、培养能力,以及iSchools之间的人才交流。调查结果显示美国iSchools师资队伍具有流动与稳定并存的特征,多元流动性表现在美国iSchools师资广泛来源于全球、区域、校际三个层面的流动;师资结构稳定性表现在职称结构的稳定,区域间和校际间的密切交流,以及极低的近亲繁殖程度。 展开更多
