In recent years, an increasing number of data platforms have been built to facilitate historical information storage, display, management and analysis. In such a context, the geographic information system(GIS) begins to contribute to the study of Chinese history. Its contribution is highlighted in nine areas: historical climate, fluvial landforms, town economies, rural settlements, hydraulic societies, environmental changes, ancient cities, ancient maps and HGIS-enabled research methods. The application of GIS to the study of Chinese history initiates a reform in research methods and at the same time upgrades the philosophy of history studies, facilitating the utilization of a diversity of historical data(documents, ancient maps, remote-sensing images, archaeological information, etc.) for dynamic tracing and multi-factor comprehensive research. At present, restricted by traditional disciplinary boundaries, the construction of HGIS platforms remains slow and insufficient, making it difficult to extensively apply GIS to the study of Chinese history.展开更多

The term CI derives from the ancient Greek language and declares all the Catholic (general) Logical Propositions (<img src="Edit_5f13a4a5-abc6-4bc5-9e4c-4ff981627b2a.png" width="33" height="21" alt="" />) which will true for every element of a set A. We will study the Riemann Hypothesis in two stages: a) By using the EP we will prove that the distribution of events e (even) and o (odd) of Square Free Numbers (SFN) on the axis Ax(N) of naturals is Heads-Tails (H-T) type. b) By using the CI we will explain the way that the distribution of prime numbers can be correlated with the non-trivial zeros of the function <em>ζ</em>(<em>s</em>) of Riemann. The Introduction and the Chapter 2 are necessary for understanding the solution. In the Chapter 3 we will present a simple method of forecasting in many very useful applications (e.g. financial, technological, medical, social, etc) developing a generalization of this new, proven here, theory which we finally apply to the solution of RH. The following Introduction as well the Results with the Discussion at the end shed light about the possibility of the proof of all the above. Based on behavior science and direct causes analysis of serious accidents in Chinese coal mines in recent 5 years, a conclusion that unsafe behaviors of coal mine staff were the direct causes of these serious accident...Based on behavior science and direct causes analysis of serious accidents in Chinese coal mines in recent 5 years, a conclusion that unsafe behaviors of coal mine staff were the direct causes of these serious accidents was drawn, accounting for 91.3%. If staff was divided into executor and manager, percentages of the executor's and manager's unsafe behaviors in direct causes of the accidents were 69% and 54%, respectively, with executor's unsafe behavior as direct causes and manager's unsafe behavior as essential reasons after thorough analysis of these accidents. Further, on the basis of dual structure theory analysis, three new understandings, including transformation, hierarchy classification and representativeness of behavior factors were il- lustrated. Behavior factors of executors and managers in Chinese coal mines were summarized and classified by new recogni- tion. Then, dual structure theory was applied in a coal mine in Hebei Province of China; weakening unsafe behaviors and strengthening safe factors can attain the purpose of motivating safer behaviors in the coal mine.展开更多

Semiconductor perovskite films are now being widely investigated as light harvesters in solar cells with ever-increasing power conversion efficiencies,which have motivated the fabrication of other optoelectronic devic...Semiconductor perovskite films are now being widely investigated as light harvesters in solar cells with ever-increasing power conversion efficiencies,which have motivated the fabrication of other optoelectronic devices,such as light-emitting diodes,lasers,and photodetectors.Their superior material and optical properties are shared by the counterpart colloidal nanocrystals(NCs),with the additional advantage of quantum confinement that can yield size-dependent optical emission ranging from the near-UV to near-infrared wavelengths.So far,intensive research efforts have been devoted to the optical characterization of perovskite NC ensembles,revealing not only fundamental exciton relaxation and recombination dynamics but also lowthreshold amplified spontaneous emission and novel superfluorescence effects.Meanwhile,the application of single-particle spectroscopy techniques to perovskite NCs has helped to resolve a variety of optical properties for which there are few equivalents in traditional colloidal NCs,mainly including nonblinking photoluminescence,suppressed spectral diffusion,stable exciton fine structures,and coherent singlephoton emission.While the main purpose of ensemble optical studies is to guide the smooth development of perovskite NCs in classical optoelectronic applications,the rich observations from single-particle optical studies mark the emergence of a potential platform that can be exploited for quantum information technologies.展开更多
Conflicts between supply chain members emerge because individual strategic actions may not be jointly optimal.Efforts to forecast consumer demand represent a source of conflict.The coordination of forecasts requires a...Conflicts between supply chain members emerge because individual strategic actions may not be jointly optimal.Efforts to forecast consumer demand represent a source of conflict.The coordination of forecasts requires a powerful incentive alignment approach.This work proposes a smart contract equipped consortium blockchain system that creates an incentive structure that makes coordination with respect to forecasts economically appealing.Distortions of demand information due to uncoordinated forecasting are captured by a bullwhip measure that factors both forecast error and variance.Cooperation under the system is shown to help minimize this bullwhip measure,thus generating new outcomes for the participants that allow for a higher reward.Under a fixed payout structure,the system achieves credibility of continued cooperation,thus promoting an optimally coordinated equilibrium between the retailer and supplier.Blockchain technology represents a novel information system and consensus formation mechanism that can intermediate the behavior of a supply chain network.展开更多
