On the Instructor Role in Online Education

Under the background of the globalization and the possibility of Internet-based virtual reality, online education gradually becomes a trend of today's teaching method. As one aspect of computer assisted language learning, online education in China has drawn the attention of educators, experts, teachers, and learners. However, the studies in the role of instructors in online education in China are still limited. So, this paper will try to research and rethink the instructor role in online education, aiming to recommend some applicable measures to improve the current situation of online education.

The Work of Instructors for New Socialist Countryside Construction

To meet the wishes and demands of the majority of farmers,it is necessary to steadily build a new socialist countryside,and actively promote urban-rural integration. With the guidance for new countryside construction as an opportunity,this paper studies and explores the working practice of new countryside construction instructors sent by Longyang Agricultural Technique Extension Station for various village committees( or offices) during 2007- 2013. This paper analyzes and summarizes the results achieved and the main problems,and puts forth the corresponding recommendations. The results of the analysis can provide a reference for the instructors to carry out the guiding work for new countryside construction.

The Presence of an Exercise Instructor or Group Members Affects Physical Self-Concept and Physical Self-Esteem: An Experimental Study in the Elderly

Background: Physical self-concept and physical self-esteem are important sources of general self-esteem and overall health. Evidence indicates that exercise leads to an enhancement in physical self-concept and physical self-esteem. Until now however, it remained unclear whether the beneficial effects of exercise were impacted by different types of exercise environments. Thus, the purpose of this study was to experimentally investigate, whether the presence or absence of an instructor or other group members influenced elder adults’ physical self-concept and esteem. Method: Participants were 46 women and 20 men (Mean age 65.4, SD = 4.36) who were randomly assigned to one of four experimental groups differing across two factors—group versus no-group and instructor versus no-instructor. Participants took part in an 8-week-walking program with a comparable number of training sessions across the four experimental groups. Physical self-concept and physical self-esteem were assessed both pre and post exercise intervention. Results: Descriptively, the highest improvement in physical self-concept and esteem were observed in the instructor/no-group and the no-instructor/group condition. Between these two conditions, no significant difference of change was observed. Moreover, no improvement was observed when both instructor and group were present. Conclusion: Effects of either instructor presence or group presence may be explained by mechanisms of social integration and social support. An unexpected absence of effects on self-concept and esteem under the instructor/group condition are explained with reference to an individual’s cognitive dissonance caused by the need to adapt to different exercise oriented goals or attitudes of the instructor and the group members which might hinder the positive development of the self.

Teaching Reform for Mobile Application Development with Industrial Projects,Double Instructors,and Automatic Assessments

Mobile Application Development is a well-known undergraduate specialized course majoring in Computer Science and Software Engineering.Since it is a rapid developing technique and requires extensive project samples to help understand,current teaching mechanism has still limitations in rare real project examples,outdated course contents,and lack of automatic assessment platforms.In order to improve the teaching effects and cultivate students’practical ability,we employ this teaching reform with industrial projects,double instructors,and automatic assessment platform to allow students participating in every course process.We aim to improve students’practical and collaboration ability during conducting the project spontaneously,and cultivate their awareness of self-learning and lifelong learning.Our classroom feedback has demonstrated that this teaching reform is effective on improving students’practical abilities,learning initiatives and comprehensive qualities.

Mobile Based Learning and Examination: Students and Instructors Perceptions from Different Arab Countries

The online education market is expanding both globally and locally;Arab countries are paying special attention to the growth of this sector. Reports showed that the e-learning market arrived at $27.1 billion in the year 2009 and is expected to surpass $49.6 billion by the year 2014. This paper presents and surveys the perception of students and instructors regarding mobile learning and mobile examination system in some Arab countries. Many universities in the Arab world are under progress in the implementation of this new technology and many have already implemented it. Strong tools are required to improve e-learning system of education. This research supports the transition of education from conventional methods to m-learning and m-exam systems. The purpose of this research is to study the perception of both instructors and students regarding mobile learning and mobile examination systems. The introduction of such systems to the educational process requires people involved to have basic technical skills and to be aware of the benefits of such systems. Results showed different perspectives from three countries;also showed that online examination systems could be very helpful, but many factors should be considered and they should be implemented carefully to guarantee the successful adoption, fairness and reliability.

Integrated Testing Environment of Instructor Station for SMART Simulator

SMART is the reactor that has been researched for many years by KAERI in order to provide the small-mid scale of power for typically seawater desalination. Now Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) has issued Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) and acquired Standard Design Approval (SDA) for SMART. In order to conduct the design verification and validation for license, the integrated simulation test environment that is composed of 1) the system specific simulation codes formerly developed in the name of Nuclear Plant Analyzer (NPA) including NSSS and BOP simulation, 2) Instructor Station (IS), 3) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), 4) operator and instructor Human Machine Interface (HMI), and 5) soft-controller has been considered as an important area for operator training and system validation. These sub-components has been designed and implemented for verifying and validating the SMART design and training of operators and for generating the backup data for licensing. This paper introduces the structure of integrated simulation test environment for SMART, explains the efforts to assist system-specific simulation code interface, and also addresses the effort for implementing and optimizing the test environment by maintaining its own simulation functionality and performance in order to review the simulation results efficiently.

Development and Evaluation of a Competence-BasedExam for Prospective Driving Instructors

According to changed views on driver training and driverintroduced in the Netherlands. The exam consists of two parts： （l）instructor preparation, a competence-based instructor exam wasmultimedia theory tests; （2） a performance lesson for drivinginstruction and coaching. An implicit idea behind the innovated exam is that it can have a positive backwash effect on the quality ofdriver instructor preparation programs. This study aims to evaluate the reliability, validity and fairness of the theoretical tests, whichappear in different versions for successive groups of PDIs （prospective driving instructors）. Data of 4,741 PDIs, enrolled during theperiod between January 2010 and October 2012, were used for analysis. The results of psychometric analyses show that the theory testsyielded reliable and fair decisions about instructor certification. The predictive validity of the theory tests for the final performanceassessment was low. Implications for the design and on-the-fly maintenance of exam item banks are discussed. Follow-up studies willfocus on the question, whether the improved instructor exam produces safer drivers in the end.

Higher Diploma Program in Eitiopian Higher Education:Instructors'Perception and Perceived Practices in Jimma University and Jimma College of Teachers Education

The study investigates the perception and perceived practices of Higher Diploma program(HDP)in the Jimma University and|imma College of teachers'education using a cross-sectional survey design comprised of questionnaire and interviews.The data were collected from 91 instructors,and 3 higher diploma leaders(HDLs)who were selected through lottery sampling and 2 higher diploma coordinators(HDCs)who were selected using availability sampling methods.The finding revealed the importance:of the HDP(M=4.3,SD=0.91)though the perception of the HEI instructors.differ before coming,and after coming to the HDP.Though the study indicated as the trained instructors are applying the knowledge and skill,which they have acquired from the HDP training,the HEIs are not following the actual practices of the training.The study found out that the HE instructors'perception had a significant correlation with the practices of HDP(r=694,p=0.00<0.01)having a moderate effect size(8-0.48).The findings call for the proper implementation of the HDP for the betterment of the program and to achieve the intentions of the HDP.

Community education study tour instructors are important action elements of community education tours.It is necessary to sort out the abilities of community education study tour instructors as well as construct a scientific and reasonable professional ability index system for community education study tour instructors,so as to promote the high-quality development of community education as well as the modernization of lifelong education governance system and governance ability.Based on the practice of community education in Jiangsu and the basic theory of pedagogy,this paper puts forward five core vocational abilities of community education,including travel education and teaching ability,curriculum development ability,management and research ability,training and guidance ability,as well as study tour guarantee ability.This paper attempts to sort out the ability of community education study tour instructors through research and analysis.A three-dimensional and multi-dimensional framework of community education instructors’ability has been constructed to provide a path for the professional development of community education study tour instructors.

第一目击者急救知识技能导师培训模式探讨与实践

目的 分析2018—2022年湖南省第一目击者急救知识技能导师培训的情况,探讨适合我国第一目击者导师培训的特点及模式。方法 通过规范第一目击者急救知识技能导师培训的课程设计、信息化平台建设及质量管理控制,总结导师培训的特征及考核评价效果。结果 2018—2022年湖南省共培训第一目击者急救知识技能导师4 504名,主要由医护人员组成,占98.8%;83.42%为中级及以上职称。设计第一目击者急救知识技能导师培训课程和考核方式,导师经培训后考核,理论成绩为(96.11±3.61)分,心肺复苏操作评分为(90.49±2.90)分,AED使用评分为(90.37±3.09)分,创伤四项操作评分为(88.90±3.37)分。导师在理论课程、心肺复苏操作、AED使用、创伤四项操作四方面的掌握程度同质性较好。结论 第一目击者急救知识技能导师培训的模式具有科学性与合理性,值得进一步推广。

中国全民健身志愿服务:建设成效、制约因素与促进策略

中国现阶段在全民健身志愿服务的建设上取得了一定成效,如制度与法治建设渐趋完善,多口管理的组织体系已基本形成,行业协会建设逐步健全,人才队伍规模也日益扩大等。然而,也存在着一些制约全民健身志愿服务广泛开展的因素,如制度与法治建设滞后于发展需要,保障性不足;多口管理的组织体系协调度不高,容易形成掣肘;行业协会行政化色彩浓厚,自主性偏低;人才队伍的组成结构不平衡,志愿服务率不理想。为了促进全民健身志愿服务广泛开展,一是要重视发展规划设计,健全配套性法律法规;二是要强化多部门协调,创新合作形式;三是要推动行业协会去行政化改革,增强其自主性;四是要优化人才队伍组成结构,提升其志愿服务率。

我国社会体育指导员制度实施30年:历程、意蕴与完善

我国社会体育指导员制度是改革开放后较早建立的体育制度,至今已实施30年。30年来,随着经济社会和体育事业发展,该制度不断调整和优化,对中国式体育现代化和全民健身发展发挥了重要作用,提供了基础性的工作支撑和规范保障。为做好该制度实施的总结思考和进一步推进的发展探讨,将制度发展历程划分为3个阶段,并描述概括其发展样态;从多个视角探究制度发展的多元推进动力与深刻时代意涵;进而从直面难题提升治理、落实《体育法》完善配套和解决各类社会体育指导员工作发展突出问题等重点方面,针对面临的各种现实需求与挑战,提出进一步发展完善该制度的应对方策。

近代大学导师制对高校辅导员工作的启示

在校大学生是高校辅导员直接的工作对象,辅导员工作的好坏直接关系到大学生在校期间的学习与生活;从而直接关系到在校大学生的身心成长。所以,党和国家也高度重视当今高校的辅导员工作,颁布了一系列相关实施指导意见。而中国近代教育史上,大学导师制的实施也正是基于培养大学生身心健康发展的需要。尽管中国近代大学导师制度实施的内容有许多是反动的、令人厌恶的;但是其中的确也有些做法还是值得学习与借鉴,对于当今高校辅导员工作还是有所启发的。因此,研究中国近代大学导师制的经验与教训对于当今高校辅导员工作可以起到一定的借鉴作用。

职业教育企业培训师培育的德日经验及启示

《国家职业教育改革实施方案》提出,为打造“双师型”教师队伍,职业院校相关专业教师原则上从具有3年以上企业工作经历并具有高职以上学历的人员中公开招聘。但如何从制度和机制上确保企业人员的准入、使用及专业水平,仍然是我国政策有效落地的实践难题。通过对职业教育发达国家德国企业培训师和日本职业培训指导员培育制度的研究发现,基于法律规定的企业培训师管理办法、促进企业培训师专业发展的培养与培训机制、建立稳定且动态调整的制度保障等经验,为我国优化“双师型”教师队伍建设、提高企业来源教师的专业化水平提供了有益启示:以立法形式确保教师的专业性地位与作用;以培养培训一体化促进教师专业发展;以制度性保障提升教师职业吸引力。

临床指导医师学科教学知识内生发展策略探析

目的探讨临床指导医师学科教学知识内生发展的策略。方法选择50名临床指导医师进行问卷调查,用以梳理他们的学科教学知识现状。根据显性知识和隐性知识相互转化的SECI模型的基本原理,结合相关理论和实践探索成果,研究临床指导医师学科教学知识发展的路径。结果调查对象学科教学知识处于浅层次,表现为不善于对学科知识进行教学意义上的转化,不善于立足住院医师立场来呈现学科知识,不善于恰当科学地用足用好教学策略知识,不善于通过实践和反思来催化自身学科教学知识(pedagogical content knowledge,简称PCK)水平升华。SECI模型阐述了组合化、内隐化、外显化、社会化等4种知识转化的过程,揭示了显性知识和隐性知识之间相互作用和变化的规律,契合学科教学知识缄默性、个体性、情境性的特征,可以为临床指导医师提升学科教学知识水平提供有效方法。结论临床指导医师发展自身学科教学知识有4条可行性路径,即组合化、内隐化、外显化、社会化。

研学旅行指导师职业能力体系研究——基于《职业大典》研学旅行指导师职业胜任力

在研学旅行大发展背景下,研学旅行指导师对研学旅行的顺利开展和预期成效的获得起着至关重要的作用。研学旅行指导师作为新职业被纳入《职业大典》,这对新职业的标准化发展及人才培养、管理等相关工作提出了新要求。文章基于SEM方程结构模型,采用文献法、访谈法、问卷调查和数理统计等科学研究方法,提出研学旅行指导师胜任力模型,并根据该模型分析、构建研学旅行指导师的职业能力体系。同时,针对研学旅行指导师的认定、培养、考核与评价,提出从顶层设计角度,构建“职业能力导向”的职业资格认证体系;从人才培养角度,建立“政府—企业行业—学校”一体化的教育系统;从资源配置角度,形成“人岗适配”的人才评价模式等建议。

健康中国背景下,高校大学生爱国主义精神培养方法与路径研究值得研究和思考。高校大学生人员基数大,且密集程度高,理应成为爱国主义精神培养的重点群体。“辅导员是开展大学生思想政治教育的骨干力量,是高校日常思想政治教育和管理工作的组织者、实施者和指导者”。辅导员开展思想政治教育工作是否合理有效,已然成为爱国主义精神培养的前提和基础。因此,高校辅导员怎样开展、开展何种形式爱国主义精神培养工作,成为当前高校学工管理工作亟待解决的问题。

职前教师教学设计能力检核模型的建构研究

职前教师教学设计能力检核模型主要是依据教学设计的基本理论,采用文献资料编码、行为事件访谈、模糊德尔菲法、问卷调查等技术建构,模型包含6个基本要素和24个能力要点,每个能力要点分别从不合格、合格、良好、卓越4个层级进行解析。职前教师教学设计能力检核模型用指标的形式使职前教师教学设计能力的基本要求更加明晰化、具体化、微观化。职前教师、教师教育任课教师、教学管理者应用职前教师教学设计能力检核模型都有各自不同的价值体现,旨在促进职前教师教学设计能力的发展与提升。
