People in educational circles believe that humanism has an incomparable role and status in education and its ideology has a certain positive effect both in past education and in contemporary education. Moreover, the core of people-oriented thinking in humanism can be integrated with the quality education thought advocated by contemporary China. Therefore, in this context, the paper analyzes English education should focus on the integration of humanism. Firstly, the paper gives a brief overview of the meaning of humanism, and then summarizes the role of humanism in the full integration of English education. Integrated Curriculum and the Tides of Anti-globalism in Central Asia： The Battle Between ＂You＂ and ＂Me＂

Today, Central Asia continues to face many political, socio-economic and cultural changes brought about by the end of one ruling ideology, particularly in the field of education. With the loss of Soviet ideology that formed the basis of the curriculum and educational standards, transition and instability threatened to supplant one ideology for another, in the form of newly developed myths of nationalism on one end of the spectrum and fundamentalism or anti-globalism on the other. Thus, the task of educators working through this period of transition has been both arduous and complex. Humanities education of AKHP of UCA （Aga Khan Humanities Project of University of Central Asia） provides a key channel for training students and educators in independent critical thinking, tolerance of pluralism, and appreciation for the importance of diversity in Central Asian post-Soviet societies, playing a pivotal role in the promotion of these values. This paper argues that cultivating knowledge in the humanities can prevent development of extreme ideologies such as nationalism, fundamentalism and anti-globalization in the region following independence. The positive impacts of implementation of AKHP and its liberating role in the life of the Central Asian students show that development and adoption of an integrated interdisciplinary curriculum that incorporates cross-cultural and comparative studies can serve as a catalyst for reform of the broader education system and the region at large.

Humanization in Educational Environments;Aspects Necessary for Living in School Today

While it is true,quality has always been measured through statistics and percentages,often forgetting the training of the whole person.Now,when we talk about issues such as humanism and education supported by technology,we can fall into extremes:it is common to label technology as the provider of all the evils of today’s civilization;or the opposite assumption;to argue that incorporating technologies into education would be the panacea for all the problems it faces and finally,to assume that the subject of the humanities is more typical of actions and attitudes of the past than as a current need,giving vitality to any educational process.However,and fortunately for the educational community,today there are global efforts to make the educational task a human action that minimizes inequities and the abysmal differences that exist in countries like ours.Fernando Reimers says:“Equal educational opportunities must be the priority objective of educational policies,the aim of education must be to contribute to creating just societies”.This requires improving the learning environments of the poor,but not only along the paths that have been started over the last decade.This aspect pointed out by Reimers is precisely the central aspect that all educational action must contemplate;the educational policies that are implemented in our country must guarantee,above all,the construction of a just and egalitarian society,strengthening the cultural wealth that we have,with respect to the diversity of people,their past,their present and especially their future.

经过五年的科教融合探索实践,齐鲁工业大学(山东省科学院)在学科建设、科研创新、人才引育、成果转化和社会服务等方面获得快速发展,充分彰显科教融合的独特优势。科教融合学院-药学院紧跟国家科教融合政策导向,紧贴地方药学专业建设需求,深挖自身人才和科研优势,从明晰育人方向、构建课程体系、创新培养模式、夯实师资力量和强化校企合作五个方面入手,探索实践药学专业科教融合建设的新路径、新形态。该文以药学专业建设为例,梳理专业在科教融合方面所做的工作、取得成效,以及存在的矛盾问题和发展方向,为下一步创新推进科教融合发展,合力培育优质人才,加快科教成果落地提供参考借鉴。
